IT’S DECEMBER WHERE I LIVE !! so 7 and 9 for mark with all of his kids( sammy, mia and daisy) ? 😃🥺
Sammy = 4 / Mia & Daisy = 10 months
“Mummy! Daddy! It’s babies’ first Christmas!” Sammy yelled, running into your room.
Mark woke up with a start, before resting back down on the pillows with a sigh.
You laughed, reaching over and sliding his glasses onto his face, “yeah, sleepy head, wake up, it’s babies’ first Christmas!”
“It is?” Mark asked, his voice raspy and his face groggy.
“Yes, Daddy! Come on, come on, come on!” Sammy cheered, a bright giggle escaping his lips.
“Okay, okay,” Mark yawned, watching as you slipped out of bed to accompany Sammy to your daughters’ room, following after you sleepily.
“Mia! Daisy! Wake up!” Sammy giggled, running between the two girls’ cots.
“Careful, careful,” you soothed, walking over to Mia’s cot and lifting her out with a slight bounce and a welcoming smile, “hello, baby!”
Sammy smiled widely, watching his baby sister yawn, “it’s Christmas, Mia! Santa’s been!”
Mia looked down at her older brother in wonder, her eyes wide before looking to Daisy, resting in her dad’s arms.
“Daisy!” Sammy exclaimed, “it’s Christmas! Santa’s been!”
“Alright, bud,” Mark chuckled, “why don’t we go downstairs, hmm? See what Father Christmas left for you.”
Sammy squealed with excitement, rushing down the stairs as you and Mark followed.
“Mummy, Daddy, look!” Sammy shouted, bouncing up and down.
“What is it? Has Santa left you a huge present?” you asked, thinking of the wrapped-up bicycle you’d placed next to the tree for your son.
“It’s snowing!”
Watching your son run to the back door, you smiled.
“As long as he’s happy,” you laughed, placing Mia in her walker on the floor, “you wait here, I’m gonna try and calm down your brother.”
Mia responded with a happy squeal as her dad came in to greet her.
“Sammy, come on!” you laughed, running forward to join your son outside and scoop him into your arms, “we have presents to open.”
“But it’s snowing, Mama!”
“We can play afterwards, hmm?” you whispered, kissing his soft cheek, “come on.”
Sammy giggled, escaping your grasp and running back inside to join his dad and his sisters as you followed after him.
Mark smiled, pulling you into his arms and kissing your head, “you look even more beautiful covered in snow.”
You snorted, “what’s that for?”
“Giving me my family. Being my wife,” Mark shrugged, “thank you. Merry Christmas.”
May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Not only is this a time to celebrate the culture and heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans, but it is more important than ever to recognize the contributions and impact of the AAPI community. To raise awareness about the injustice being faced by Asians during this month, we have released our “Silent No More” design on a pay-what-you-wish basis in honor of #StopAsianHate. To further support this movement, we are highlighting some influential Asian and Pacific Islander Americans that have made their mark in history.
The longer you look at this, the funnier it gets 😂

Mia & Daisy = 3 / Sammy = 7
“Mia! Daisy! I just saw Santa Claus!” Sammy gasped.
“What?!” Mia shouted.
“Where?!” Daisy whispered.
“He— He was in the sky!”
“Over here?!”
“Just over there!” Sammy exclaimed, pointing out the window.
“Why don’t you all go off to bed then, hmm? Before he reaches our house?” you offered.
“He will come here?” Daisy asked, playing with the hem of her dad’s shirt.
“Has he come for the last two years?” you asked, to which Daisy nodded, “so he knows you three. Of course he’ll come here tonight.”
Daisy giggled, turning round to Mark, who just smiled and lifted her into his arms.
“Let’s get you guys up to bed then, huh?” Mark said, Sammy running up the stairs to lead the way, Mia quick on his heels and Daisy riding happily in her dad’s arms.
“Tired, Daddy,” Daisy muttered.
“You need to brush your teeth first, baby,” Mark said, kissing her head before sitting her down on the closed toilet lid, Mia sitting beside her as you helped the two brush their teeth.
“Two minutes, Sammy,” you reminded him, your son giving you a thumbs up as he spat and then continued to brush.
The three dried their mouths once they’d finished, before running off to their bedrooms.
“Sammy, we’ll come and see you in a minute, yeah?” Mark said, Sammy smiling and nodding as he went and got in his own ‘big boy’ bed.
“Okay, you two ready to sleep?” you said.
“I so excited, Mummy,” Mia exclaimed.
“But tired, right? It’s so late!” Mark exaggerated, forcing a yawn, the girls copying.
“Good night Mummy, Daddy,” Daisy yawned.
“Night night, love,” you smiled.
Mark knelt by Mia’s bed, his eyes closed as he mumbled words under his breath.
“Amen,” he whispered, before standing up to join you, “night, girls.”
But the two were partially in dream land, their mouths open with soft snores.
“Okay, Sammy boy,” Mark called as you laughed.
“Are the twins asleep?” Sammy asked, “they’re very nervous about Santa coming, Mum.”
“They are?”
Sammy nodded knowingly, “Uncle Donghyuck told Moonsun that if you see Santa he won’t give you any presents.”
“I don’t think that’s entirely true,” you hummed.
“Well, the sooner you go to sleep, the less chance of that, hmm?” Mark smiled, kissing Sammy’s head, “you wanna pray, bud?”
Sammy nodded, Mark taking his son’s smaller hands in his own and speaking his pray aloud, Sammy joining in with the ‘amen’ spoken at the end.
“Sleep well, love,” you smiled, kissing your sons head before the two of you left the room.
“God, I’m so tired,” Mark groaned, making his way down the stairs.
You scoffed, “you’re Santa now! Act like it!”
“Oh, haven’t you heard? He’s in the sky just over there,” Mark said, pointing out the same window that Sammy did.
You laughed, “shut up and help me.”
“Alright, alright, I’m coming, I’m coming.”
