More of my romantic Sans headcanons:
- Sans likes people who are expressive whenever he makes jokes. It doesn't really matter. Hard laughter? Groaning in annoyance? Hiding your amusement behind a frown? As long as you don't give him the cold shoulder then he doesn't care. He will continue to joke around and even prank you if he likes your reaction.
- He's not the type of person to change whenever he gets a crush. Not a lot at least. He doesn't change his attire, habits, or even the mess he makes. He, however, is A BIT self-conscious whenever he is around you but he tries his best to play it cool. He will try to clean his room a little bit whenever you come around but not too much so it isn't noticeable.
- Sans usually has his poker grin on his face and it's pretty hard to make him change his expression. He had mastered keeping his cool but there are some cases where it breaks and even shatters. Just tell him "I love you" and he becomes flustered. Also, I think he's not used to touch so surprise hugs and stuff will get him really caught off guard!
- He will make you carry him around. He is LAZY and once he sees that you give in, he will use you as his personal taxi even though he can teleport and shortcut anywhere! He also clings so you will have to master a lot of strength to pull him off of you. He does this in his sleep and also when he's awake because he finds your struggles funny.
- Sans isn’t the type of guy who likes expensive dates. You can both sit on the couch and watch a movie and that'll be a date for him. But he does take you out to dinner and stuff on special occasions or if he just feels like it. He will also dress up slightly for those dates.
Now for the sadder stuff...
- Depending on the time period, it will determine if he confesses or not. If it's in the Underground, then unfortunately he isn't going to do it. Sans in the Underground is not in the best mindset and doesn't believe that a romantic relationship is worth it since it's all going to reset anyway, right? You'll have to do it and Sans will say yes or no depending on how good your relationship is and if he thinks it's worth it.
- If you're a human and Sans falls in love with you, I don't think you'll ever be able to get a romantic relationship with him if you want to leave the Underground. He will think "if you're going to leave, what's the point of doing it anyway?" However, if you decide to stay, it might be a bit different.
- None of the sad hcs apply if Sans is on the Surface. :]
