I enjoy:

Usopp x Kaya: nice and canon, they're the cutest couple ever. Rich girl x poor boy trope but their problems aren't related to their economy. Odysseus and Penelope situation. She's going to be a doctor to be able to heal him if he ever gets hurt again. I love them your honor.

Usopp x Sanji: lots of food but not canon. I'll do what you can't. Pathetic and distressed bisexuals. They love each other so tenderly and they take care of each other and ughhhhhhh they're wet cats. Also parallelism. I also love them.

BUT I have an amazing, fresh third option, of which I have seen very very few fanarts, and I want the world to acknowledge it.

Usopp x Kaya x Sanji: HEAR ME OUT. Usopp loves Kaya dearly but realizes he's falling for Sanji too. He writes Kaya to let her know bc he won't cheat on her duh. He also sends some photos. Kaya wants that twonk in their relationship right away. Usopp first makes Sanji fall in love with him and then Sanji finds out HE ALSO GETS A SWEET GORGEOUS LADY??? He almost dies that day. He also starts writing letters to Kaya and they click instantly. They all marry and live happily ever after and Usopp gets two blondes and to sleep being held by them.

ngl i flubbed it a little bit bc sanusokaya Could end well, but the angst potential is so high that i just had to go for that bingo. usopp has two hands this is something i will LIVE AND DIE BY. adorkable incarnate. cannot STAND them they’re so cringe. usopp likes blondes <3 its also nice thematically not just bc of how kaya and sanji parallel each other, but through how they reflect two different parts of usopp’s life— his past and his present. smth smth once the journey is through, they will both be usopp’s future. also kaya deserves someone to pamper her and i think having two boyfriends, ESP one of them being sanji, will suit that nicely. idk they’re neat.

aaand i’m not even gonna get started on zolu. can u tell im fucking insane about them. i said i dont rlly view them as romantic but like? i see them more as an insane Secret Fourth Thing/QPR, but i dont have anything against romantic zolu per se. i could even see zolu being aro/allo under the right circumstances— i just. have my truth <3 and my truth is zolu forever and ever and ever. shoutout to my friends who’ve listened to me talk about them for multiple hours, love yall

I thought I'll dump my little spoon/big spoon headcanons because I hate top/bottom headcanons and sex is overrated.

Zolu: Little spoon Zoro, Big spoon Luffy. Absolutely, have you seen this man? He is quite literally built for cuddling. And Zoro would never refuse.

Lawlu: Little spoon Law, Big Spoon Luffy. Again, but this time we have the added factor of babygirl Law absolutely needing a hug.

Navivi: I honestly think its a switch. But its usually Big spoon Vivi and Little Spoon Nami.

Frobin: Switch as well. Franky implanted custom pillows on himself to make Robin comfortable and Robin sprouts extra hands for Franky.

Sanusokaya: Little spoon Sanji because he NEEDS phisical contact, Big spoon Usopp because only he knows hpw to give said phisical contact and switch Kaya who is just hanging around.

Yamace: Little spoon Ace and Big spoon Yamato. Yamato holds Ace like he is little heating pad and Ace likes to be held by his 8.8 boyfriend.

Saboala: Little spoon Sabo and Big spoon Koala. Its kinda hard for Koala to hug Sabo due to the height difference but he needs it so bad.

Kidkiller: Reluctantly, Little spoon Kidd and Big spoon Killer. Kidd is a pissed off babygirl angry at the world and Killer is the meatally stable and mature one that comforts him.

Perouta: Little spoon Uta and Big spoon Perona. The thing is that usually the most traumatised of the two is the one that needs comfort.

Shuggy: Little spoon Buggy and Big spoon Shanks. Or at least, Shanks tries to cuddle with Buggy, but Buggy has a mental break diwn each time so its impossible.

Penshaci: Switch, they like drammatically cuddling eachother in front of Law to make him mad.

No headcanon for Dofuwani because Doflamingo woukd shoot you in the face if you suggested it and Crocodile knows its purely a sexual one.

sanuso but sanji feels like a home wrecker because he knows usopp has a girl back at home. except kaya is all like “as long as you share” bc she knows usopp is just too cute and amazing and funny and wonderful that it’s impossible to not romance him

heart eyes @ Lawlu fam au's Robin + love that Kaya joined the strawhats, i'm curious about the bond she has with the rest of the crew - especially Sanji (👀) and the non-East Blue crewmates!!! also Brook teaching anyone who shows moderate interest in music is so real i love that headcanon!!

Ahhhh I love Kaya I’m sorry if I drone on in random directions here!! Okay okay so the general vibe of how she got there is after Laugh Tale (and whatever happens there I dare not speculate I’m bad at guessing) the Straw Hats eventually make their way back to the East Blue and Usopp stays in Syrup village for a little longer than the rest of the crew and when they come back for him he’s like “uh so hi uh Kaya and I got married” and Luffy’s like “SHE WAS CREW BEFORE SHE’S CREW NOW GET ON THIS BOAT :^))” Then there’s a period of time when her and Usopp decide they want to have a kid (surprise it’s two kids) where they spend a few years in Syrup Village before they rejoin the Straw Hats which I know I mentioned okay but so w Sanji I think before the kids they’re very friendly, Sanji always knew about Kaya and Usopp would write to Kaya and talk abt all the crew but esp Sanji so there’s a bit of that “I feel like I already know you” vibe with them. She does already know the rest of the East Blue crew so she’d probably gravitate towards them at first and out of all of them besides Usopp I think she’d vibe the most with Luffy and Sanji. Her and Chopper are fast friends for obvious reasons, and they start to kind of divvy up doctor-ing duties. Kaya specialized in traumatic injury so she could help Usopp on his adventures and Chopper specializes in internal medicine so she becomes a huge help in the aftermath of battles. First round of treatment from Dr. Kaya and ongoing treatment with Dr. Chopper :^) Add Law into the mix when the Hearts are around and they have a little Doctor Club where the three of them are always exchanging knowledge and books and things they’ve found around the world that are helpful. The three of them are really comfortable friends and like to study in the same room together without talking for like hours. In a similar vein I think her and Robin get along really well and will read quietly together. The way that Robin just says creepy shit Kaya has a way of doing that too, but with such a friendly face and tone it’ll take people a long time to even begin to clock why what she said is fucked up (makes giving Bad Doctor News very easy, she’s a kind of calming that after the fact makes you go ??? How did that work). She spends a fair amount of time with Franky because she likes to hang out in the workshop while Usopp tinkers, and it turns into her learning a thing or two from Franky as well. Brook tried to teach her piano because it seemed like something she’d like but she was low key terrible at it and the lessons went on much longer than they should have because they were both too polite to suggest they stop.

After her and Usopp rejoin the Straw Hats Sanji is immediately obsessed with their kids. Sanji has such “I will parent the shit out of any child” energy okay this guy was born to dad. Ofc it makes Usopp’s heart full to see his kids with his boyf, and Usopp is a very involved dad (he would never be like his own dad), but it just situationally ends up giving Kaya & Sanji more one on one time than they’d had before (switching off parenting duties, Kaya’s not really a fighter so she tends to stay back on the ship if there’s conflict, Sanji esp at first volunteers to stay back with her and the kids to keep watch). All of that plus the fact that Sanji’s always been framed to her as this guy the person she loves loves, it’s only a hop skip and a jump away until “oops I have a crush on my husband’s boyfriend.” Esp cause I don’t think Usopp would be shy about being affectionate with either of them, so all three of them plus the two kids just end up in a pile super often.

ALSO OKAY WE WERE ROBBED OF SHORT HAIRED ROBIN ODA ALMOST GAVE HER TO US AND I WILL NEVER FORGET
