There isn’t an Evangelical Church. They have no hierarchy. Each neighborhood parish is on its own and doesn’t coordinate with others. Any person can start their own for profit Evangelical parish/church. The only exception being the Southern Baptists Convention. They have 13 million members spread across about 4,500 parishes. They have an annual convention to vote on doctrine. Many younger members are just beginning to rebel against the older conservative evangelicals who refuse to let go of power.
Following President Reagan’s disastrous two terms he was succeeded by his VP George Herbert Walker Bush. George “Dubya” Bush (who had just deserted the Air National Guard and was strung out on Cocaine) became a “born again” Christian and while going through rehab joined his father’s campaign. Future president, and soon to be war monger, “Dubya” traveled the country paying Evangelical pastors to preach conservative values while denouncing Democrats as unchristian and unpatriotic heathens.
And thus the unholy union of non-aligned Christians and Republicans was born.
this is bullshit this is not happening
No. TST lacks the logistical capacity and ideological desire to help feed anyone going hungry from lack of food benefits, and it does not de
do not fall for liberal hopegrifts and wishcasting
do not believe AI summaries based on nothing, or nothing other than some group talking about itself The Satanic Temple can take your money, but it cannot feed you. The Satanic Temple can sell you a T-shirt, but it cannot protect you or save you. an email newsletter list for merch and soliciting donations, nationwide 300 active members and two buildings in Massachusetts, is not infrastructure to serve tens of millions in need no one sharing the claim otherwise can tell you what TST’s budget was last year, how many people they fed last year, or where someone hungry would even need to show up. dunking on evangelicals (who will actually feed you! but probably also ask prying personal questions) is not a good excuse to ignore these practical, necessary considerations local food banks need your money. Food Not Bombs and legitimate religious organizations (of your own traditions) need your support for doing more of what they’re already doing. your neighbors need to know you and know y’all can share meals and resources with each other. that is true, and the time for preventative measures is running out do not let people in your life think TST will feed them come Saturday; that is not real. the real work is much harder
I went to the satanic temple while I was on vacation in Salem!
If you're in the neighborhood, stop by the Satanic Temple in Salem, MA between now and March 15th (2026) to see my needlework on display as part of their Inviolable Body exhibition!
I don't like how a lot of satanist and left-hand path organizations have the same "do it this way or you're wrong" rhetoric that christians on the right-hand path have. Your relationship to Satan should be uniquely yours and I understand the need for community as an atheistic satanist, but I'd love it if we could please stop trying to mimic those who we're trying to oppose. Your thoughts are sacred because they're*yours*. You are holy because lord Satan gave you the gift of knowledge and taught you to worship the self. Don't squander your greatness trying to fit in with others. Craft your own relationship with your religion. Thank you
I wanted to show this to you guys.
