Marauders #17 - "The Winds of Change" (2021)
written by Gerry Duggan art by Matteo Lolli & Edgar Delgado
I essentially never finish anything I start, but I would like to create and share a community of kitchen, waitstaff, and bartenders alike. For all the bull we go through to pay the bills. Share yours frustrations, funny stories, worst patron stories, anything you would like. We’re all an essential part of modern culture, and we all have stories to share. The kitchen is bitchin’ and it’s time to share it with others. ✌️➕💝

Need to Man the Pan.
I’m in charge of the dumplings and their sauce tonight. Pan seared with something and something else. I’ll figure it out, but first another beer.
Saucier
For InkTober daily prompt: 22. Chef I recently learned the term "zur Rose abziehen", which in cuisine techniques describes the point to which to cook a sauce to get the right, creamy consistency; I have no idea what one says in English. So my image idea became a literal cook working a sauce order and the dreaded rat looming over his success. And a steak hat. I had fun with just throwing together a bunch of elements I think of when I hear the term "chef".
