#Repost from our Totally Awesome Vegan Conservationist friends at...@oneprotest @download.ins --- Sadly, wolf populations in the U.S. continue to plummet as more and more states allow wolf hunting seasons to take place. After 47 years of conservational efforts, the U.S. was able to rebuild wolf populations to 7,500. The U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife said their recovery was so significant that they delisted them completely from the ESA, effective on January 4, 2021. The species has not had break since. While we are all aware of the atrocious 2021 Spring wolf hunt that took place in Wisconsin, this Spring, Idaho passed a law allowing the cull of 90% of the state’s population and Montana legalized the use of snares to capture their wolves. Meanwhile, Michigan and Minnesota are said to be planning potential hunts for 2022. Loosing gray wolves would be detrimental to the ecosystems they inhabit, the consequences would be severe. We will post calls to action as necessary, so be sure to be ready to speak up for our wolves 🐺 . . . #Wolf #Wolves #GrayWolf #WolfPup #WolfPack #WestCoast #Wisconsin #Montana #Idaho #Michigan #Minnesota #SaveWolves #WildlifeOnEarth #WildlifeConservation #AnimalActivist #AnimalActivism #AnimalAdvocacy #OneProtest (at United States) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTuX09ZAjHR/?utm_medium=tumblr
