Y’all ever realize that if Jack and Maddie were right about all ghosts being unfeeling, malevolent monsters, they would have doomed the world the second they turned on the portal.
All ghosts have a base power set that makes them undetectable, incapable of being hit aside from specific weapons, and able to go pretty much anywhere they please. Thats to say nothing of the potential of overshadowing. Then, on top of all that, ghosts have dozens of specialized extra powers that make them even more of a threat than they were before.
Ember could control the masses with her music and, when broadcasted, control the whole world!
Technus’s technopathy would make him an unbelievable threat in a world as connected by technology as ours is. Not to mention he’s been shown being able to control anti ghost tech in the past. That alone would immediately reduce any resistance’s effectiveness against him.
Kitty’s banishment would make her an immense threat against any male she faces. One blown kiss and they’re not only gone from the fight, but potentially dead after 12 hours.
Johnny 13’s bike being capable of extreme speeds alongside its flight capabilities would make him a threat by speed alone. Add in his shadow, something seemingly capable of manipulating probability in the negative for anyone but him, and you have something that could take out a whole group by something as simple and seemingly innocuous as untying a shoe lace.
Then there’s the heavy hitters. Undergrowth would, single handedly, wipe out the entirety of North America. The only thing shown to work against him is cryogenic attacks. Even then he can seemingly shake them off to some degree as long as his roots survive. Not to mention the mass overshadowing making spector deflectors a must just to be in his same area code.
Nocturn, if he comes out at night, would easily be able to take over the dreams of dozens with his sleepwalkers. That amount of dream energy would make him unbeatable.
Vortex would turn the very weather against us. Imagine global hurricanes, random flash floods, droughts, flash freezing snow storms. He’d make the movie Geostorm a reality.
The less I say about Clockwork, the better. If he existed and was actively malicious, humanity — no scratch that — life in general would not be allowed to exist.
Dan Phantom showed us the terrifying potential of a single evil ghost running amok. It took him ten years to decimate humanity and the earth. What do you think would happen if dozens of powerful ghosts all decided to go off on humanity.
