Alexander the Circus Pony Phyllis Ginger 1942 Lithographs from one of the best Puffin Picture Books. Phyllis Ginger was a protege of S R Badmin and was one of the artists selected for the Recording Britain Project. Sharp eyes will spot that the street scene (Bristol centre) is almost identical to her later lithograph for the School Print series, commissioned by Brenda Rawnsley.
