"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. But you are. I warned you. Thiszh. Iszh MY home. And you...are NOT welcome." As inheritor of the Blood-Sin, Baldwin the former white monk takes on a new and fearsome threat from an otherworldly galaxy beyond the reach of his gods. Once he was a drunkard, a womaniser and a bigot. Now he has accepted death, and embraced his new role as the protector of Lea Monde for centuries to come, defending all of its people from the dreaded Dark that lurks beneath. Harsh shadows? Where? I don't see any. No seriously, I don't see a thing, what's going on?

I think in this one the harsh shadows are kind of justified, since it's meant to be scary, and the characters are backlit, so with all that the level of darkness is higher than usual. I know it's part of my art style, but I might've pushed it too hard with this drawing. This is what happens when you post stuff from a couple years ago, you start to see errors and things you no longer agree with. It's a good thing, means you've changed and are doing things differently, but while it's tempting to go back and lighten up the drawing, that's practically revisionism. Regardless, I'm glad I did this drawing, it opened the door to much better pieces.
I hope you guys like it.
Please, let me know what you think of it in the comments. I appreciate and every single one I receive.
