“What do you think Y/n?” Sidney asked looking to her friend that sat in front of her as they all ate lunch around the fountain.
“About what?” Y/n asked having zoned out of their conversation, she turned her attention up to Sidney.
“The murderer in town? Duh.” Tatum teased her friend playfully, rolling her eye’s.
Y/n furrowed her eyebrows and asked. “What about them?”
“Why do you think they're doing it?” Sidney was curious even if it brought up feel’s and memories she’d rather forget. Y/n alway’s thought of points and views none of them considered. She looked at it in a different, less gernetic way and it gave them a different perspective.
“Could be mindless killing.” Y/n shrugged thinking about it but even to her the kill’s being mindless killing’s just for the hell of it didn’t seem correct.
“Doubtful. It’s gotta have a motive, otherwise why call first?” Randy shook his head in disagreement as he took a sip of his soda.
“True. Maybe it’s to raise the stakes? Build adrenaline for a better chase.” Y/n tilted her head with a smirk at the corner’s of her lips. The killer called to get their victims into a false sense of security before making them completely terrified for their lives. They were playing with their prey.
“Before WHAM! Spill your guts.” Stu said loudly making Sidney and Tatum jump and Y/n laugh at his usual Stu antics, Billy just shook his head while Randy scoffed.
“It’s all so disgusting.” Sidney shook her head and her face contorted into a very disgusted look.
“Sick.” Tatum fake gagged.
“Could’ve been more creative.” Y/n shrugged her shoulders thinking the killer wasn’t very creative besides the phone call. Even though she had spoken lowly in a almost inaudible volume it caught two of the boy’s complete attention.
“Let’s get to class.” Sidney grabbed her bag, Y/n and Tatum followed suit with Randy on their heels as Billy and Stu stayed behind under the disguise of cleaning up.
“Hear that Billy? More creative.” Stu turned his head towards his best friend and partner in crime.
“Fuck off.” Billy shoved Stu’s shoulder to make him back up a bit. Billy’s attention was still on Y/n as he watched her retreating form. Without even knowing she had guessed correctly about ‘Ghostface’ techniques and it didn’t surprise Billy but it did make the wheels start turning in his mind. Especially when she made the comment about the kill’s not being very creative.
“You think she knows?” Stu questioned in a whisper so others wouldn’t hear their conversation.
“I think she suspect’s.” Billy had noticed Y/n’s eye’s flick to him and to Stu when she answered Tatum’s question. But whether it was from her having a feeling they were behind the murders or just because they were friends Billy didn’t know and it frankly bothered him. Y/n was smarter than the other’s and if anyone would figure it out Billy’s money was on Y/n.
“Does that change the plan?” Stu hoped it didn’t, he rather enjoyed Y/n’s company and he liked that he could make her laugh. She got his humor and she didn’t judge him or view him as just the clown. Stu didn’t want her to be added to the list of who needed to die.
“No. We knew she was smarter than the others. This doesn’t change anything.” Billy didn’t see this as an interference to their original plans. Y/n was not on the kill list but she would be more watched from now on. To make sure she didn’t spoil anything. They had other plans for her . . .
Hey, my lovelies, back with another post of 14 days of Villains. I hope you enjoy it!
❀Stu loves having you as his girlfriend. He’s the proudest boyfriend in the entire world. He loves to show you off. He’s always throwing an arm around your shoulder as he introduces you as his girlfriend. It’s one of his proudest accomplishments to date.
❀Stu’s feelings for you become a little obsessive at times. He doesn’t want anyone to take you from him. You are his and only his, and he’s not afraid to threaten and murder those who attempt to take that from him. They force the unhinged side of Stu’s personality out to play.
❀Stu isn’t afraid to take your bag. He’ll gladly throw it over his shoulder when it’s too heavy. Why should he care what other people think? He’s not going to force you to carry something that he can easily take.
❀Always reminding Stu to get his homework done on time, he’s always the life and soul of the party, but he needs to finish school. You help him whenever you can; however, whenever you attempt to study with him. Stu can find plenty of things to keep him distracted.
❀Stu is a fan of PDA. He wants everyone to know you're together. He’ll pull you close and bring you onto his lap when you go to take a seat. Stu doesn’t care whose watching, he likes having you close, he likes smelling your perfume.
❀Stu’s always bringing you random gifts. Things he’s seen, things he’s thought you might like. He’s always thinking about you, what you’re doing, who you’re with, and what he could do to make sure you never want to leave him.
❀In fact, Stu’s almost certain you’re never gonna leave him because he’s determined to make sure of it. He’s going to do whatever it takes. He’ll tie you up if he has to.
❀He keeps a watchful eye on those who stare too long, who like to flirt with you at parties, and who are a little too friendly. He keeps the information for later.

You were cornered, trapped in the old movie theater with Sam and Tara. The smell of mildew filled your senses with each panicked breath you took. Everything had happened so fast. Chad had been stabbed so many times you were sure he was dead. You didn’t even have time to mourn your best friend, because Ghostface was still after you. How could Kirby have done all of this? Why? You still couldn’t wrap your head around it.
“Stay the fuck back!”
“We know it’s you, Kirby!”
Ethan and Mindy still hadn’t shown up yet. They were probably dead too. Your stomach sank into a swirling pit at the thought. Kirby had taken everything from you. You didn’t even know who you were without Ethan. How were you supposed to live the rest of your life without him?
“How could you?!” you yelled at her, edging closer to Sam and Tara, seeking safety within your friends.
Kirby looked confused, blood trickling down her forehead from a fresh wound. The gun in her hands shook from how hard she was trembling.
“No, one of them knocked me out,” you didn’t hear the rest of her explanation, the sound of the theater doors creaking open behind you pulled your attention away. Detective Bailey ran inside, his gun aimed at Kirby.
“Kirby, stop! Get away from them!”
The next few moments were a blur. The gun went off, your hands instinctively covering your ears. Kirby fell to the ground. You all turned to look at Bailey, Sam’s glare hardening as she realized he was Ghostface. They were talking, but you didn’t hear a word they said, your ears still ringing from the gunshot. Two people walked up behind him, both wearing Ghostface costumes. There were three of them?
You watched as one of them removed their mask. Suddenly, you couldn’t breathe. The ringing in your ears faded, but you still couldn’t hear, the sound of your heart pounding thrumming dull in your ears. The sight of your own boyfriend standing there with a bloody knife in his hand, you couldn’t think and the word shocked didn’t even begin to describe how you were feeling.
How could Ethan do this? He had always seemed so perfect. Surely it couldn’t all have been an act, right? The whole time this had been going on, you never suspected him. Not once. It had seemed so unfathomable. You had been so sure he was harmless.
He wouldn’t look at you. The whole time Bailey was ranting, Ethan didn’t look at you. Not once. Had it all been a lie? Maybe you really were just a means to an end, a way for him to get closer to Sam and Tara. You couldn’t read his face. For the first time in your relationship, you had no idea what he was thinking. A million questions spun around in your head, but for some reason the only one you could focus on was: did he ever really love me?
You watched in horror as Ethan slashed at Sam’s arm. You barely ducked out of the way in time, slinking away as the fight ensued. Hiding in a corner, you watched as Ethan and Quinn chased after Sam and Tara. The squelching sound of metal cutting flesh made your stomach churn. You couldn’t look. You didn’t know how they hadn’t spotted you yet, but you knew you wouldn’t last long in a fight like this. Sam and Tara could handle themselves, they didn’t need you.
Tara was slipping, her hand desperately gripping the railing as she dangled over the edge. Ethan stood below her, holding his knife out, awaiting Tara’s fall so he could stab her. But you saw something he didn’t. Sam handed her a knife. Tara was going to hurt him. You don’t know why you cared. Ethan had hurt so many people, maybe he deserved to be stopped. But, he was still your boyfriend. And you had no idea why, but part of you still loved him.
You were up and moving before your mind could catch up to what you were doing. Tara fell right onto Ethan’s knife with a sickening squelch. She raised her knife, but before she could plunge it into Ethan, you tackled her, knocking her off of him and the knife out of her hand.
“Stop!”
Tara struggled beneath you. “What’re you doing?! Get off!”
You forced her down, barely keeping control over her. Tara was stronger than she looked. “I can’t let you hurt him!”
“You can’t really still love him after knowing what he did,” Tara said, almost pushing you off. “You don’t have to help, but you need to let me do this.”
You shoved her back down, your free hand reaching out for the knife she dropped. “I won’t let you kill him.”
You wrapped your fingers around the knife handle, grasping in tightly. You pulled it back, stabbing Tara in the neck. She tried to push you off, but it was no use. Her strength slowly faded as she choked on her own blood. You choked on your tears as you watched her die.
You looked down at your hands in shock, Tara’s blood coating them. You scampered off of her, panic flowing through you. You couldn’t catch your breath. Tara was dead. You killed your own best friend to protect your boyfriend, and you weren’t even sure if he actually liked you. Your hands trembled. Arms wrapped around you from behind, you tried to fight them off, but you weren’t strong enough.
“Stop. It’s me.”
Ethan’s voice. You stopped fighting, letting him hold you. Your body instinctually leaned into him, as if it suddenly forgot everything you just learned. How could a murderer still make you feel so safe?
“Ethan…” your voice trembled.
You looked over at him. There was blood on him and your stomach sank when you realized it was his.
“Is it true? Did you really do it?” You choked on your words. You couldn’t even bring yourself to say the word murder, the idea of your awkward boyfriend killing people still feeling so inconceivable.
Ethan nodded, the crazed look on his face gone. He started to look like the boy you knew. But the more you thought about it, you never really knew him at all. You just knew the version of him that he decided to show you.
You bit your lip hard to force back your encroaching tears until the taste of your own blood filled your mouth. You knew what you had to ask him, but you were terrified of the answer.
“How much of it was real? Do you even love me?”
Ethan’s gloved hand gripped yours tightly, your friends’ blood staining your skin. You should’ve been nauseous, but the feeling of him holding you so tightly gave you butterflies.
“All of it. I never lied about how I felt for you. I love you so much and I never wanted to hurt you. I’m so sorry.”
“Then why did you?”
You flinched at the sound of another gunshot, this time a bullet whizzed by you, barely missing your head. Ethan pulled you out of the way just in time. You looked around, panicked, trying to find out where it came from.
Sam, still standing on the balcony, glared down at you, a cold and detached look in her eyes. She must’ve seen you kill Tara. And you knew Sam, she wasn’t the type of person to let someone get away with hurting her family.
“Look, I’ll explain everything to you later. I promise. But it’s not safe for you here.”
Ethan pulled you up to your feet, his arm tightening around your waist to make sure you stayed with him. Before you could even take a step, you heard Sam scream before she fell over the balcony. You flinched as she landed next to you, a knife embedded deep in her back. She must’ve used her last bullet on you, leaving her vulnerable to Quinn. Sam and Tara were dead, and it was all your fault.
“Oh my god…” you whimpered, your hands clinging to Ethan tighter.
“It’s okay. I’m getting you out of here.”
You didn’t get very far before you heard footsteps approaching you from behind.
“Ethan, stop! What’re you doing?”
It was Bailey. You tensed up, holding Ethan tightly, terrified his dad would kill you. Ethan turned around, still holding you against him.
“I won’t let you kill them. They’re not a part of this.”
Bailey shook his head dismissively, already reaching for his gun. “You know we have to. We can’t leave any witnesses.”
“I agreed to help you kill everyone involved with Richie’s death, they weren’t there. This has nothing to do with them.” Ethan pulled you closer to him. If Bailey tried to shoot you, he would hit Ethan too. “They killed Tara to protect me. They won’t turn us in, you don’t have to do this.”
Before Bailey could speak again, Quinn interrupted. “It’s true. I saw it.”
Reluctantly, Bailey put his gun back in the holster. “Fine. But if they try anything—,” Bailey started before you cut him off.
“I won’t, I promise.”
Bailey sighed. “Alright. You three get out of here, the cops will be here soon. I’ll deal with it.”
Quinn walked away, headed off to the hospital to make sure Mindy and Gale were dead. You and Ethan lingered near the entrance of the theater for a few moments longer.
“Thank you, for not letting your dad kill me,” you said softly, your hand holding Ethan’s tightly.
“I’m the one who should be thanking you. You saved my life.”
You winced at the memory, glancing down at your hands that were still covered in your best friend’s blood. Tara was dead, because of you. And yet, you still felt like you made the right decision. You could find another best friend, but no one could ever replace Ethan.

“Is that Mindy’s brother?” You asked, pulling the sunglasses away from your eyes to help see in the already dark room. “Oh, yeah, super cute, right? Mindy and Chad Meeks-Martin, all that fine in such slutty waists” Anika hummed, giggling when you lightly shoved her shoulder.
“Oh my god, you’re obsessed with her.” You teased, already guiding her through the crowd toward the two. “Oh my god, we can’t go over there” Despite her words, Anika didn’t protest even a little bit as you pulled her by the hand.
“Hey, Mindy.” Anika smiled, talking loud enough over the music. “This is my roommate-” “Yeah! We’re in the same film class right?” Mindy pointed, smiling back at Anika despite pointing at you. “Yes, you totally saved my ass, the other day.” You pointed back.
“I’m Chad!” His smile shined a little more brightly than Mindy’s partially because it was directed at you as he shot his hand out for you to take. “Do you wanna get a refill with me?”

He hadn’t purposely become your personal assistant, it was truly more Chad’s doing than yours. Refilling your water bottle before you could get up, fixing your off the shoulder top, holding your bag if you had any, as if instinct.
“How did you get Chad to be the way he is?” Your friend, Corey asked, his eyes still following Chad who was dancing away from the both of you after hand delivering your drinks. “What do you mean?” You sipped from the cup, furrowing your brows at the question. Corey laughed, “He’s just… I don’t wanna say well trained-” You burst out laughing at this. “Corey, I didn’t do anything” You spoke through giggles, leaning into each other during your giggle fit.
“I didn’t do anything! Chad’s always been this way.” You shrugged, smile unwavering at the thought of your loverboy. Corey hummed in thought, as if not believing you.
“And that cookie is good.”
The giggles rang through again.
I can't relate to desperation
My give-a-fucks are on vacation
And I got this one boy, and he won't stop callin'
When they act this way, I know I got 'em
Chad knew how to find and get to you in big crowds or mid day in the hall or at a kickback with friends or even when the two of you were alone.
Little touches. A hand grazing your back when he passed you, a hand squeezing your arm in an almost too casual way during conversations. Sometimes he’d lean on you a little as if supporting himself with your presence and the feeling of your clothing against his.
Things like this made it so obvious how totally done for Chad was with you.
Too bad your ex don't do it for ya
Walked in and dream-came-trued it for ya
Soft skin and I perfumed it for ya
“You smell so good” “You keep smelling me” You laughed, pushing Chad away and attempting again to apply your mascara. “But you smell good, babe” Chad laughed as he spoke, as if you couldn’t hear the first time.
“All for you” You murmured, mouthed slightly opened as you leaned toward the mirror. Chad smiled, eyes on you until you stand up straight and turn to him with an almost bashful smile. “You’re staring” The words came out in a soft laugh as Chad moved closer, just enough to press a soft kiss on your lips.
He pulled away before you could properly react with anything more than a pout, his arms throwing up in the air with all the dramatics in the world as he turned toward his closet. “I’m obsessed with you!”
(Yes) I know, I Mountain Dew it for ya
(Yes) that morning coffee, brewed it for ya
(Yes) one touch and I brand-newed it for ya (oh)
Now he's thinkin' 'bout me every night, oh
Soft laughter was all Chad heard as he trailed his hands up your sides, nose pressed against your cheek and lips pressed into your jaw, a small trail of chapstick in his wake as he moved spots every few kisses.
The little forgotten hallway being the perfect spot for your little mid-day rendezvous.
“Chad, you’re gonna be late to class” You hummed, nails pressing into the back of his neck, the feeling of his sigh on your skin as he pulled away just enough to peck your lips a few times. “Fuck class.” He murmured, earning a scoff in return. Chad smiled, eyes fluttering over your features as one of his hands moved to settle on your cheek. You smiled at him, giggling when he kissed you again because of it.
“Seriously, don’t you have that test today?” You pushed his chest, staring shamelessly at his kiss-swollen mouth. “I just need a little more of you, baby, to help get me through the day.”
Is it that sweet? I guess so
Say you can't sleep, baby, I know
That's that me espresso
Move it up, down, left, right, oh
Switch it up like Nintendo
Say you can't sleep, baby, I know
Chad’s head was resting on your stomach, his fingers gently running up and down your thigh while your nails grazed his scalp.
You felt him crawling up, placing a kiss on your chest before settling again.
Chad nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck, mumbling against your skin just as you were finally falling asleep. “Can’t hear you,” you sighed out, eyes still closed when you felt his lips crawl up your skin. “I can’t sleep.”
“You want me to read you a story?” He let out a breathy chuckle against your jaw at the question before asking his own, “And scratch my back?” You laughed in response.
That's that me espresso
Holy shit
Is it that sweet? I guess so
I'm working late, 'cause I'm a singer
Oh, he looks so cute wrapped 'round my finger
By now you’ve established the fact that your boy is a stage five clinger. If Chad Meeks-Martin can be touching you in any way possible and/or appropriately, it will be done.
You felt the slight weight shift on your shoulders from Chad’s jacket landing on you as you walked, mid conversation with Tara. You shot Chad an appreciative smile as he smoothed the fabric over you before taking your hand back in his as you continued talking. Still feeling the way his hand squeezed yours every couple words.
My twisted humor makes him laugh so often
My honey bee, come and get this pollen
“Was he bothering you, baby?” The feeling of Chad’s arms wrapping around your neck came just as some frat kid had walked away from you, no doubt a new guy who wanted to impress the brothers around.
It hadn’t worked.
Maybe it would have though, had everyone not already known that you were very much taken by a certain special someone.
“Nope! Hi, where’ve you been?” You smiled up at him and any trace of concern left Chad’s face seamlessly. “Playing beer pong with Ethan, he’s never played, can you believe that?” “You are opening that boy’s eyes, honey.”
Chad laughed, leaning his forehead on his bicep, pulling you closer with the action. “I am trying so hard but he was so sheltered.” You giggled at his dramatic sigh. “Well, don’t worry, rockstar, you’ll get there.” Chad stifled another laugh when you pat the top of his head.
“Thank you, my sweet not at all even a little sarcastic girlfriend”
“It could be worse, I could be a freak stalker.” You whispered, causing Chad to break, and laugh into your skin. “Dude, that wasn’t even my best work. Are you just trying to get laid?” You teased, smile in your tone as you looked around the crowded room. “I’m a little tipsy"
Thinkin' 'bout me every night, oh
Is it that sweet? I guess so (yes)
Say you can't sleep, baby, I know
That's that me espresso (yes)
“Do you wanna ditch this joint, and go back to my dorm?” Chad asked, smiling softly at you from his spot lazily laid out on the loveseat beside you, his finger smoothing at the skin on your cheekbone in slow swipes as if petting a cat.
“I would love to do that.” You smiled back, tilting your head up in response, a motion for him to get up and when he did, his hands pulled yours. “I think I’m in love with you” Chad murmured against your cheek as he guided you to the exit. You laughed softly, “I have that effect.”

It was a random Wednesday, you were at school and you had stuff to do. It was lunchtime so a lot of the school was scattered outside with their friends, enjoying their lunch. You on the other hand had to take some pictures for the Yearbook committee, you didn't mind taking your lunch to take pictures, it would give you a break from dealing with the jocks flirting with you and the other cheerleaders.
Standing beside one of the school entrances you search around the dozens of kids, looking for a good picture opportunity. You then spot your friend Tatum Riley sitting amongst her friends. The lighting was good, the scenery, the amount of people, that was when you decided that one of your pictures for today would be of that friend group.
You start to walk over to them with a smile on your face, your camera around your neck and perched in your hand. You knew of everyone in the group, most people did. Tatum was a school fashion icon who you had quickly become friends with during Sophomore english. You guys weren't best friends like she was with Sydney but you talked on the phone a lot and talked in school when you could.
Everyone knew of Sydney Prescott, her mother, Maureen Prescott's death was a huge story in Woodsboro. But you first knew of Sydney in 3rd grade, you had fallen and scraped your knee, Sydney being your hero that random day in 3rd grade, helped you up and walked you to the nurses office after telling the teacher what happened.
Most people knew of Stu as well. He was dating the school's most popular girl, Casey Becker when suddenly they broke up. Turns out she cheated and left him for the school's most popular boy and jock, Steve Orth. Stu was also known as the class clown of your grade, always making whoever he had a class with break out into laughs.
Billy Loomis was a mystery to most people, he was a quiet kid that caught everyone's attention. Everyone in the school wanted to know more about him but he didn't really speak to anyone but his friend group. You didn't know much about him just like others but you did know of him.
Lastly there was Randy. He wasn't the most popular, definitely the least popular out of his friend group but the people who knew of him were the people who had had a class with him before. The people who have had classes with him knew he was a huge movie nerd, and just a very smart person in general. You knew more about him than you care to admit. You knew that he loved movies and his favorite genre was horror, you knew he worked at a movie store, you knew his favorite chips were Doritos and his favorite candy was Skittles, and you knew his favorite color was forest green.
You noticed him unlike other people. While some thought his love for movies was annoying, you thought it was endearing. You've had at least one class with Randy Meeks every year since 8th grade. At first you thought he was just a cute kid but when you guys reached Junior year of high school you realized that you harboured a crush on the boy. You never said anything to him about it, you just never thought he would feel the same about you, you always thought he had a crush on Sydney even though she was dating Billy so you never even tried. For a year now you've tried to ignore the crush but you couldn't help but feel a smile make its way to your face when you saw him throughout the school days. No one knew about the crush except for yourself and you wanted to keep it that way, not because you were embarrassed but because you didn't want word getting back to Randy.
You were walking over to the group of friends, their backs facing you. Once you were very little ways behind them you heard Sydney's voice “Just tell her” she tells Randy, leaning her head into her boyfriend Billy.
“Are you kidding?” Randy raises his voice slightly, not in an angry tone but more in a shocked one. “She's beautiful, like the prettiest girl to ever walk planet earth. She's perfect, she's beautiful, smart, kind, she's not fake like the popular kids she's around, she does photography, she likes movies, and her style. Have you heard that she's made her own clothes? Her eyes, her smile, her hair, everything about her is like a goddess and oh my god her laugh? Amazing. She would never go for a guy like me, okay? I'm a nerd and y/n is a cheerleader godsent.” Randy rambles to the group.
When Randy had first started talking you felt your smile fall, it sounds like he's really in love with the girl he was talking about. You keep taking small steps towards them, not wanting to stop completely but you also wanted to hear the rest of what Randy had to say about this special girl. When you heard your name your heart stopped. You suddenly stopped in your tracks, staring at the back of his head. Never in a million years did you ever think that Randy Meeks would like you y/n y/l/n. But with the way he was speaking to you to his friends didn't just sound like a simple crush, it sounded like more. You did feel sadness when you heard the way he spoke about himself, but hopefully you would be able to change that.
The smile is back onto your face and you have a pep in your step, you take the last couple of steps towards the group and you are now behind them. Stu and Tatum notice you before you could announce your presence, Stu squints and looks between you and Randy. Tatum raises a brow at you, asking if you had heard anything but you don't answer, instead you clear your throat. When you do so, the rest of the group being Billy, Sydney, and Randy turn to look at you.
The only person you're focused on is Randy so when the three of them turn to look at you, you don't see Sydney and Billy exchanging looks at your arrival. The only thing you can see is Randy's face immediately morph into one of humiliation. You decided not to give away with the fact that you overheard their conversation just yet.
You hold up your camera higher in your hands and move your eyes from Randy's embarrassed nes, your eyes scanning across the entire group. Giving them a smile you shake your camera slightly and speak up “Can I take a picture of you guys for Yearbook?” You ask with a smile, your eyes moving through the entire group, landing lastly on Randy. The boy takes a deep breath and lets his posture relax slightly, you guess that he thinks you didn't hear anything since you didn't bring it up.
Tatum perks up “Of course” she responds with a smile
You walk around the stone wall they were on so you were now in front of them instead of behind them. They all scoot into each other and look towards you so you could take their picture. From left to right the order went; Billy, Sydney, Randy, Tatum, and Stu. You take a couple pictures then look back to see what they look like, they look great, you look up at them “Did you guys wanna see what it looks like?” you ask them
“Yes, please” Sydney responds to you happily. You walk back over to them and while you are Tatum scoots over, closer to Stu so that there would be room in between Randy and herself for you to sit.
You take a seat in the space in between Randy and Tatum and show them the pictures you took.
“They look amazing” Tatum says excitedly
“Thank you for taking the pictures” Sydney tells you, looking over at you with a smile
“Good job, y/n” Billy says
“I look good” Stu remarks
“You're an amazing photographer, y/n” Randy compliments, looking directly in your eyes.
You smile Randy, your eyes never straying from his. “Thank you guys” You respond with a smile, turning the camera off in the process.
You then stand up from the stone wall all of you were sitting on and face the group, but your eyes were only looking at Randy. “Can I talk to you for a second?” You ask him and in that moment you swore you saw his heart physically stop, the boy tenses and sucks in a deep breath. He doesn't respond, he nods lightly and stands up, walking a little away from the group by your side.
“Look, I'm so sorry about-” Randy starts to ramble but you cut him off before he could get any further.
“Ive liked you for 2 years” You say, looking at him with a small smile while rocking back and forth on your feet
All Randy could do at that moment was stare at you, his eyes widened and his mouth slightly open. He couldn't believe what you just said, his mind immediately went to the conclusion that this was some sort of a prank, someone like you wouldn't like someone like him. But then his mind also cursed him for even thinking that, you would never be so harsh to play with someone's feelings that way. While in this shocked state of mind, he wasn't able to fully process the fact that you had a crush on him as well, especially for 2 years now so all he could say in response was “what?” in a whispery shocked tone.
A small laugh escapes you because of his reaction. “Are you busy tomorrow night?” you ask
“N-No” Randy responds, breathless
“Did you wanna take me out? As in a date, you don't have to” you reassure him. You didn't want to put any pressure on making him ask you out, you simply heard about what he had to say about you so you thought you should go for it.
“Are you kidding? Of course I want to take you on a date. This is amazing, oh my god! I'm just shocked you wanted to go on a date with me” he rambles, moving his hands around theatrically as he speaks
“You're amazing, Randy. I would love to go on a date with you” You respond, the smile never leaving your face
“I've liked you since 8th grade” Randy blurts out that even he looks shocked when he says it, but definitely not as shocked as you
“Really?” you whisper with a smile, slightly tilting your head to the side
“Yeah” he whispers in response, nodding his head up and down
“Well that's good to know” you tell him, lightly biting your lip to the point it was barely noticeable. Your face was starting to hurt from how much you were smiling.
Randy, finally realizing this was all real life, couldn't stop the huge smile from forming on his face. “Can I pick you up at 7?” he asks hesitantly, wringing his hands and bouncing on his feet nervously even though he shouldn't be nervous.
“That sounds great” You say with a slight nod
“Great, great” he whispers while nodding. The bell then rings throughout the entire school, also being heard from the outside where they are “Have a good day, Y/n.” Randy tells you with a smile, his face beaming like you've never seen it before
“You too, Randy” you respond, walking backwards, still facing him.
“See you tomorrow night” Randy calls out to you as you walk further, a smile on his face and his hand up in the air in a wave
“Tomorrow night” you echo with a nod, finally turning around so you were walking normally, with your back now facing him. You walk a couple of steps before you decide to look behind you and back at Randy
When you do you are met with Randy pumping his fist in the air and celebrating. He caught your eyes and stopped, awkwardly scratching his neck while thinning his lips down, He brought his hand in an awkward wave.
You couldn't help but laugh and bring your hand up in a small wave, then walking away and into the school. You couldn't wait for your date tomorrow night
Randy couldn't wait to see you tomorrow night.
a/n: I would just like to say that I am the BIGGEST Randy Meeks stan, I love him so much.
(D: You get into a fight with Stu about making your relationship public. )
Sneaking around with Stu used to be fun. You used to revel in the secrecy: the fact that no one knew about the two of you aside from yourselves— like a secret hidden in plain sight. But as things started to get more serious, you couldn't help but want to be "claimed": to have people know that the two of you were a thing and that you were no longer interested in seeing other people; that you both were officially off limits. It was only natural for you to make things public, right?
You weren't asking him to declare his love for you in front of the whole town, to yell it from every roof top, and makeout with you in front of all of your peers. You just wanted the security of people knowing that the two of you were together. And if he loved you as much as he always claimed that he did, what would be the issue?
"Yeah, imagine that one." He smirks at you, rolling his eyes lightheartedly when you finally bring up the subject. You hadn't said it out of nowhere. In fact, you'd thought long and hard about the perfect opportunity—agonizing over something that should have been so easy.
It'd been prompted by his own comment: something about both of you having to leave his house by a certain time so that he doesn't miss some party, a party that all of his friends are going to be at. He doesn't want them to get suspicious, he'd joked, and you'd figured that it was the perfect segue for the conversation you'd been wanting to have with him.
"Why not?" You say, trying your best to seem nonchalant, even as your stomach drops at the speedy way he dismisses the idea: as though he doesn't even want to give it a single thought.
"What? You're serious?" He asks— as though he's surprised. The joking tone he'd held before starting to fade as he continues to speak.
"Why not?" You repeat, your tone a little different from before, bristling at his words as you keep your eyes trained on the television in front of you.
"It just wouldn't make sense," He starts, laughing almost incredulously: as though you're the one being silly for even bringing it up, as though the idea is so preposterous that you should "know better" than to say it out loud. "I mean, you're not exactly the type of girl I usually go for. Do you know the sort of shit people would say?"
"And what would they say Stu?"
"What is this," He asks instead of answering, furrowing his eyebrows at you. "I thought you were okay with the whole sneaking around thing? I mean you told me you were before, so where's all this coming from?"
"I was. I was okay with it when we were just messing around. But I think things have changed a little bit, don't you?" You ask, turning to glance at him.
"I mean sure, yeah, I guess things have gotten a little more serious." He agrees almost tentatively.
"A little?" You probe.
"It's just ...I don't see the point in letting everyone know about us. Nothing will change between us." He insists and it's mildly infuriating to hear.
"If nothing will change then why not tell them?" You ask, confused by his apprehension.
"Because they'll be all weird about it." He answers, which only manages to confuse you further.
"About what?" You question, your face twisting up in perplexity. Stu's never been the sharpest tool in the shed but this conversation is leading into new levels of bewildering denseness.
"About you." His beating around the bush is starting to annoy you. I mean, really annoy you. Probably because you're starting to think you understand what he's getting at, and if your suspicions are correct, you think you'll actually lose it.
"And why would that be?" You reply guardedly.
"I mean, going from Tatum to you, that's a big difference." He tries to laugh it off but it strikes a cord with you, makes you stiffen, your blood beginning to boil.
"What does she have to do with anything?"
"I just mean that she's the type of girl I usually go for. The type of girl people expect me to be with." He's none the wiser to the way you've begun to burn on the inside. Insecurity, and jealousy, and annoyance all rearing their ugly little heads while you listen to him speak.
"And what type of girl is she?" A part of you wants to see how deep of a hole he'll dig himself into—an angry, ugly, resentful little part of you that's feeling particularly slighted by his words.
"You know." It seems he's just now beginning to catch onto your anger. He seems cautious, like he doesn't want to get further into it: like a guilty child who doesn't want to admit how badly they've messed up, or like a person trying to spare another persons feelings.
"Enlighten me." You insist coldly.
"Are you mad? Why do you seem mad right now?" You'd normally find the whiny way he's speaking cute, but today, it only manages to make you more annoyed.
"I don't know Stu, why would I be mad right now?" You answer sarcastically.
"Look, all I'm saying is that you're not the type of girl that people expect me to be with. I just think they're gonna be weird about it." He reiterates, the same vague assumptions that he's already said before. He's talking in circles, not man enough to admit the real reason he doesn't want people to know about the two of you.
"Why would they be weird about it? What kind of girl am I that you have to be ashamed to be seen with me?" You push.
"I did not say that." He insists, pointing a finger at you as though you're accusing him of something wildly out of the question.
"Well you're saying a lot of shit that sounds like it!" You finally raise your voice.
"There's no need to get hostile." He raises his hands, as if you're acting out of line.
"Let me guess: Tatum was never hostile." You mock.
"As a matter of fact, she wasn't. She was really chill actually: she didn't care about what everyone else thought." He responds pointedly.
"Well, maybe it's because you didn't hide her around Stu."
"She wouldn't have cared either way." He insists, defending the girl as if that's the hill he should die on.
"That is such bullshit." You hiss.
"No, it's not bullshit. She wasn't insecure like you are." He accuses matter-of-factly.
"Insecure?!" You screech incredulously, just nearly laughing in disbelief.
"Yeah! Insecure," He doubles down. "Casey wasn't like that either. They didn't care about anyone else-"
"Yeah, least of all you Stu. That's why they dumped your ass to the wayside and fucked a bunch of footballers instead." You interrupt.
"Oh, oh real nice. Well at least I wouldn't be embarrassed by them dumping me. No one blames me for wanting to be their boyfriend. Imagine me going public with you. Yeah, right. Stu macher with Y/n Y/L/N. I wouldn't hear the end of it. I might as well say goodbye to my reputation right now!" He sneered sarcastically.
"You know, that's all I needed to hear." You laugh bitterly, the smile on your lips resembling more of a snarl than anything else. He pauses at your response, chest heaving angrily while trying to process what you're saying. "Thank you for finally letting me know exactly what your issue is, Stu. No. No. I really appreciate the transparency."
"You know, Stu ...this is what I am. I've always been like this. I haven't changed since the day you met me. I was nothing like your ex's then, and I'm nothing like them now. I'll never be. So let me do you a favor and do the one thing that you weren't man enough to do this entire time and cut things off. I deserve to be with someone who isn't ashamed of what I am. Someone who actually gives a fuck about me. I can assure you that I'm not as hard up for choices as you seem to think that I am." You vent, starting to gather your things as he sits there and stares at you.
"Wait, wait a minute-" He starts.
"No." You refuse, not even looking at him as you continue to grab all of your belongings from around the room.
"I didn't. I don't," He stumbles over his words, scooting to the edge of his seat as he watches you nervously: face untwisting from it's previous anger and beginning to morph into an expression of confusion and anxiety, a hint of worry coming in at the corners. "I didn't mean it like that. I didn't mean that."
You don't answer and he hesitantly stands up, making his way over to you as you angrily shove all of your things into one singular pile. "Let's just talk, okay?"
"We've talked enough. I'm done talking." You grit. Everything you do seems to slow you down, your hands moving in a frustratingly clumsy fashion, your anger mounting as things continue to go wrong. You're sure he can feel the heat radiating off of your body: the seriousness of the situation finally dawning on him.
"No, no, just wait a minute, alright? C'mon," He whines, moving to grab some of your things away from you: trying to stop your hands from their hurried and blunt movements. You pull away as though his touch burns you, brushing your hair from your face in an attempt to collect yourself before going to grab your things again. "Stop, stop. Please, let's just talk."
"I told you-" You start with exasperation.
"Then lets not talk. We don't have to talk, just don't leave. I'm sorry, alright? That was stupid. I didn't mean that. I'm stupid, I'm a stupid guy. You know that." He begs.
"You are stupid. You are so goddamn stupid, you have no idea," You rant, whirling to look at him. You take in his puppy dog eyes and the way that he nods along with you, trying to prove just how much he's listening and just how much he agrees with you. You do your best to calm yourself. You don't want to insult him. Not really. "You have no idea what you do to people. I really hope you are stupid, Stu. Because if you aren't, then that would mean that you know exactly what you're doing and how it makes me feel—and that would be so much worse. I'd love to think that you're stupid. It's easier to think that you are instead of thinking that you're completely using me, and that I'm just letting you. Letting you get away with making a fool out of me."
"You're not a fool." He insists.
"No, I'm not. Which makes it even sadder."
"What's sad?" He whimpers.
"That I've sat here and let you use me like some toy." You tell him.
"I don't-I wasn't trying to use you. You're not a toy. I don't think you're a toy." He struggles to respond.
"Then what am I Stu? I'm not your girlfriend," You reply matter-of-factly, and his brows screw up like the comment truly pains him: like it hurts him to hear it as much as it pains you to say it; the knives in your heart twisting deeper and deeper.
"You are. You are my girlfriend. I thought that we...I told you I loved you. You know I love you." He insists pitifully.
"This isn't love, and I'm not gonna pretend that it is anymore. If you loved me, you wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen with me. You wouldn't care about your friends or the rest of school. And you wouldn't care about your ex's—you wouldn't be comparing me to them. Hell, how could I ever think that you liked me for anything more than sex when that's your type." You laugh bitterly, the realization coming to you as you shake your head in disbelief.
"They're not my type, they just, I just dated them. Like I dated you. I liked you. I still like you. I love you. This wasn't just about sex, it's just-" He sighs, like he's preparing himself for what he's about to say. He looks down at the floor as if he's a embarrassed, as if he's ashamed.
"I looked like an idiot when Casey broke up with me. The entire school knew about it within a week, and I went from me to the loser she left behind. Everyone was looking at me, everyone was laughing at me. And you, you're great, you know? You could date a footballer if you wanted to. And I guess I thought that if I didn't show you around to everyone, if I didn't make things public, then I wouldn't have to go through all that again. I wouldn't have to talk about it, or think about it, or be all embarrassed by it."
"But, but if you're just gonna dump me anyway then I want to go public. I want everyone to know that we're together because this—I don't want this. I thought that us being a secret would make things easier, but this isn't easy at all. And I think I'll do just about anything if it means that you're not going to break up with me." You stay silent, unsure of what to say or how to handle all of what he's just poured onto you.
"So you name it. I'll call all my friends right now and tell them all 'hey, I'm with y/n y/l/n and I love her', and we'll stay in for the rest of the night. Or I'll take you with me to the party tonight and I'll tell everyone there that you're mine and that you're great. You want me to get a tattoo of your name? Your face? I'll get it tonight. Whatever you want: whatever will convince you that I meant it when I said I love you."
"I don't-" You laugh a bit, amusement creeping out of you as much as you don't want it to. You sigh and open your mouth to start again, a bit more serious this time.
"Please don't go," He stops you. "Please."
"I'm not going." You assure him quietly.
"Are you still breaking up with me?" He asks, tears still misting his eyes, even as the relief of you not trying to leave becomes evident in his features.
"Would it even count as breaking up? We really weren't-"
"Yes we were. ...We were to me." He interrupts quickly, and you can feel yourself softening by the minute.
"Then no, I'm not breaking up with you." He starts to smile, and it's like the calm after a storm: not everything is fixed but it's healing. You can't help but smile too, at least just a little.
"Do you want me to bring you to the party, because if you want me too, I will. But I kind of really don't want to go anymore." He says to you. It's the joke that finally earns him a laugh, a giggle seeping out of you as his shoulders sag in relief.
"No, I don't want to go. And you don't have to tell the entire school about us either. Just, maybe you can let your friends know that we've been spending some time together. And then maybe I can tell my friends that 'blonde boy' is actually Stu Macher and not just some guy that I've been lying about all this time." You explain.
"You've told your friends about me?" He grins, suddenly so very pleased and eager to hear more. "When did you tell them about me? What did you tell them about me? Do they like me?"
"They don't know its you!" You laugh.
"Well yeah, yeah but like ~my vibes~" You roll your eyes as you sit back down on his couch, fighting back your smile as he immediately follows and scoots right up next to you, expression urging you to tell him more. You have the sudden feeling that you're gonna be in for it with him: that things might only get "worse" with him as your actual boyfriend and not just some guy you hang out with.
"You know, I think I'm starting to regret wanting you to be my real life boyfriend. You're already such a handful." You tease as he starts nudging you to try and get you to answer his questions.
"No take backs." He insists quickly, grinning at you.

“Hey E, when did Y/N say she was getting here?”
“What’re you asking him for?”
“Because obviously it’s him who’s going to know?”
You rolled your eyes at the argument between Mindy and Chad as you quietly paced down the hallway towards the lounge.
“Why is that obvious?” Mindy countered, and you could practically picture Ethan’s pout as he butted in now, “Why are you so sure she wouldn’t tell me?”
Mindy scoffed, “What, you know everything just because you have a massive crush on her? You probably just, like, stalk her or something.”
“I don’t stalk her—,”
“Okay, you just follow her round like a lost little puppy she has to deal with all the damn time,” Mindy snorted, “I’m just saying she’d have text the group chat, not just you.”
“Hey, that’s harsh,” Tara interjected, “Whether she’s out of his league or not, that’s not what the deal is here. They’re just as close as she is with you, if not closer. It makes sense she’d text him.”
You shook your head even though they still couldn’t see you, lingering just past the doorway and listening in as they talked.
“Why is this whole thing being blown out of proportion? He only asked when she’d get here, not for you to all talk about me like I’m a total loser she’d never be seen with,” you could hear that he was taking their words to heart as he tried to stick up for himself for once.
“Nobody said total loser,” Mindy shrugged, “But we’re just speculating. Chad talks about you two like a couple, and I’m simply reminding him that you’re obviously not.”
Anika put her hand on her girlfriend’s arm for a second, “Mindy, c’mon. You’re just being mean now.”
“I know she’s out of my league and I never said any different Mindy,” Ethan groaned, “Could we shut up about this already? She’ll be here any minute and I don’t need her hearing you talking about how pathetic I am.”
Mindy huffed, raising her arms in feigned surrender, “You said it, not me. Look, sorry, I’m not trying to be harsh I swear. Just no point in you getting your hopes up, is there?”
You took that as your cue, striding into the room and heading straight towards your boyfriend.
“Hey guys,” you hummed, throwing down your bag and plopping yourself down onto Ethan’s lap and curling your arms around his neck.
He looked perplexed, unsure why you waltzed in and made such a show of PDA all of a sudden, but his tense body relaxed under your touch regardless.
His hands curled around your waist as he shuffled back in his seat to make you both more comfortable, his voice shy as he responded, “Hey.”
“Woah, woah, woah,” Mindy rose to her feet, “What?”
You rolled your eyes for what felt like the thousandth time, turning your head to shoot her a sickly sweet smile, “What?”
You could see Chad stifling a laugh, because he’d seen you sneak out of their dorm one too many times not to have figured out you were actually dating by now.
“Why are you—,”
“Sitting on my boyfriend’s lap? There’s no other seats, Minds,” you shrugged, fighting back a smirk as she went bug-eyed, “Oh, shit. I forgot we still hadn’t told you guys. My bad!”
Mindy fumbled over her words for a moment, still staring at you as your fingers twirled Ethan’s curls at the base of his neck and his fingers danced over the waistband of your jeans.
You pressed a kiss to his cheek, feeling warmth radiate from his skin as his eyes darted around the room for everyone’s reactions.
“Boyfriend? You’re together?”
Tara was grinning, “Nice!”
“Aw you guys,” Anika grinned, “That’s so cute. We can double date!”
You rolled your eyes, “Maybe if Mindy apologises for talking to Ethan like he’s the shit on the bottom of her shoe, yeah.”
“I’m sorry, I just—,”
“It’s fine, Mindy,” Ethan shrugged, nuzzling his face into your neck to hide away from the attention, “Can we just move on? At least you all know now.”
You frowned, pressing a kiss atop his curls as he remained close to you. You watched Mindy frantically search for the right words to say, before deciding to stay quiet.
Silence hung in the air for a moment, tension evident as Ethan’s grip on you seemed to tighten.
“It’s Ethan who’s been asking to keep things quiet, so thanks for the reminder of why,” you huffed, “Because you make him feel like he doesn’t deserve me. It’s not fair, Minds. At all. And you’re supposed to be my best friend.”
“I am your best friend!” Mindy replied, “I just didn’t expect this, that’s all. I’m sorry, okay? I’m happy for you guys. I really am.”
You scoffed, “Well maybe if you spent a little more time treating Ethan like an actual person and not some pointless side character in a, like, movie or whatever, you’d realise he’s a good person and that it’s me who doesn’t deserve him.”
You felt guilty for your outburst, and you could see that it had really driven your point home to Mindy, who was now staring at her feet shyly and snuggled in close to Anika.
You snuggled in closer to Ethan’s lap, interlacing your fingers as you did so. His hands were as warm as his face had become as a result of all of the attention, and you could tell he felt uncomfortable.
He did, however, enjoy the fact that everyone knew you were together now.
A sudden bout of confidence sparked in him as he pulled your joined hands up to kiss the back of yours, “Whatever. Whether she’s out of my league or not, she’s my girlfriend. Now let’s just put the stupid movie on, yeah?”
Everyone nodded silently, tension still thick in the air as Mindy picked up the remote control, but before she could press play you hopped back up out of your boyfriend’s lap.
“Oh, I brought popcorn,” you exclaimed, grabbing his hand and pulling him up as you picked up your bag again too, “We’ll go make it really quick. Won’t be long.”
Ethan followed you into the kitchen, your hands still interlocked, and smiled confusedly at you as you hopped up onto the counter beside the stovetop and quickly began preparing the popcorn.
“Sorry about that,” you bit your lip, watching him carefully as he sauntered to your side and placed a palm on your hip, taking control of the popcorn making, “I overheard the conversation and got really pissed off. Also just missed you and wanted to be annoyingly PDA’y… Is that alright?”
He scoffed, “Are you kidding? I only wanted to keep it from them because they don’t think I deserve you and I didn’t want you realising they’re right… I’m like, so happy, that I can kiss you around them now. So happy.”
You pouted, “I hate that you think that too, though. You more than deserve me, Eth. And I’m really lucky to have you.”
His thumb rubbed at the skin of your waist just beneath your top as his other hand shook the popcorn as it heated up.
“You’re the best, Y/N,” he hummed, pecking your lips quickly before refocusing on the popcorn, “I kinda wish we could just go to mine or something instead. I’m not in the mood for anyone else’s company anymore.”
You leaned in to kiss him, a hand carding through his curls briefly as he took the popcorn off the heat and set it aside, turning off the hob. His hands then flew back to your waist, settling himself between your parted legs to kiss you properly.
“I wish we could just go to yours too. We’ll dip as soon as the movie ends, yeah?” you grinned, biting your lip as you pulled back from the kiss, “We can deal with them asking questions another day. ‘M more in the mood to just curl up with you.”
He nodded, “Me too. Sounds like a plan. And thank you, for tonight, seriously. I’m not exaggerating when I say how lucky I am to have you.”
You shook your head, “You’re my boyfriend, and I’m proud of that fact. Mindy just needs to get her head out of her ass sometimes. I’m sorry they’re so shitty to you sometimes, it’s pathetic.”
He kissed you quickly again, scooping your waist to pull you down from the counter to stand beside him.
“Honestly at this point I don’t care anymore,” he shrugged, “I’ve got you. Oh, but please don’t agree to any double dates without me. No offence, but a double date with Mindy and Anika would be, like, my personal hell.”
You giggled, shaking your head again, “We’ll work on her weird unnecessary disdain for you, babe. But of course, I understand. C’mon, we better get back in there.”
“Can’t we just stay in here instead?”
“I wish.”
“Ugh,” he huffed, an adorable pout gracing his features that almost made you give in and make up an emergency reason for you both to leave, “At least we get to cuddle this time. I’m sick of you always having to sit away from me.”
You chuckled, “You do tend to watch me from across the room like a lost puppy. It’s adorable. In fact, I’m surprised nobody ever notices me doing the exact same thing back. We’ve been totally obvious this whole time.”
He kissed you again, briefly and feverishly like he couldn’t stop himself, “Our friends are idiots, huh.”
“Absolute morons,” you smiled, kissing him one final time before grabbing the popcorn and his hand.
“Let’s go get through a movie, hey?”
