We’ve officially locked the last batch of scripts for season one and started sending them out to our actors. Sound is coming back for our first batch, and we are SO HYPE.
I wrote an extra scene into LoH that I'm going to share. As I wrote LoH before Vesiphone got her development so I wanted to hint at Vesiphone's issues:
Page 40 .
Chryus takes a step then pauses. "Actually Vesiphone… "
"… There was something I wanted to ask you about." He says. "Oh?" She asks.
"You're the one who purified me correct?" "Ah… yes, you're wondering why I did such a sloppy job aren't you?" She asked though her tone didn't waver.
"Not the word I would have used, but yes. You're the Paragon of Purity, why do I remember all these… broken fragments?" He asks.
Page 41.
She lets out a sigh, "When you arrived your hold on life was weaker than a new born kit. Purifying you at all, was a risk. Anything more, and we would not be speaking right now."
"Then why did you purify me at all? W-why did you take my memories of her?" He said his voice cracking slightly.
She looks at him with pity, "Chyrus… I saved your memories of her. You loved her, you don't want your last memory of her to be her broken half eaten corpse like—"
"Like mine is of her." Vesiphone says regaining composure.
Page 42.
"Did… you see her?" Vesiphone nods.
"It was me and Xandria who found the body. Please don't ask me for details you wouldn't want to hear them."
"I'm sorry you had to see that Vesiphone." He says. "But I wished you'd asked me because now I'm so… confused."
Page 43.
She smiles which is odd, "What burdens you?" She asks, a question she's asked many times before.
Chyrus stares at her, for her knows her script.
But he sighs, "It's the last thing she said to me- that I remember. 'I am nothing.' She said it so warmly… "
"And I don't understand what that means. I need to know, was there more? Did you remove the part that would make it make sense?" He says almost accusingly.
Page 44.
She thinks for a moment trying to remember, "Hmm. No, I don't recall her saying anything else in your memory but, I didn't really look."
"If this memory is causing you distress, then I do recommend you be purified of this." Chyrus looks somewhat offended.
He scrunches his face.
"No Vesiphone, I appreciate your council but, I think I need to meditate on this. Maybe I'll figure it out… nevermind. Forget that I brought this up."
"Chyrus. Sometimes an answer isn't worth the pain." She says but it's less comforting than usual.
Chyrus seems a little unnerved, "Well I'll think about it… thank you." ```
