And it came to pass that he had three sons; and he called their names Mosiah, and Helorum, and Helaman. And he caused that they should be taught in all the language of his fathers, that thereby they might become men of understanding; and that they might know concerning the prophecies which had been spoken by the mouths of their fathers, which were delivered them by the hand of the Lord.~ Mosiah…

Backing this 100%. As much as I’d like to be an old-timer who can’t let go of tradition, I just think will be a much more effective way to learn. Rather than just memorizing scriptures and forgetting them the next week, principles are being taught about the very real obstacle of discerning truth and how to deal with anti. This is so much more useful and relevant, and so I am agreeing with it wholeheartedly.
I feel this is a very important article, especially as you are you are preparing to study 1Samuel 16:7. The best way to work on "being attractive" isn't to change our height, bone structure, jawline, or any of those things the world tells us is important and that we have no real control over unless we are wealthy celebrities- and how often do they find happiness within their marriages? If you remember that your body is a gift from Heavenly Father, and are sure to feed it, dress it, and groom it accordingly, it will be more attractive to others. Even more so, if you live a beautiful life- filling it with service, laughter, and righteous living- then you will be a more beautiful person. Everything about you then becomes more attractive to others. Your laugh. The way you use your hands expressively when you talk. The way you're a little bit clumsy when you're nervous, even. I feel so much for the man in this article. It's clear he was/is in pain, but he could not see the forest for the trees. In focusing on the very few factors that affect beauty that he couldn't change, he had neglected the factors he could; keeping the commandments and his attitude towards others and life. Our testimony doesn't just magically appear once we find a partner. She/he can support and strengthen your testimony, but not create it. So create yours now, to enable you to find a righteous partner, and to be able and worthy to strengthen them as well.
Zion
As a wrap up and review of Moses 7, we did an activity based on Moses 7:18(See photos below) “And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them.” I made up an obstacle course with “Zion” and the “City of Enoch” as the end goal. A few of the students were blindfolded (representing the “residue” and…
