It's December 3rd. 👨‍🦽 On this day in 1992, the United Nations held its first annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights, and well-being of persons with disabilities. The UN's goal is to increase our awareness of the benefits we all gain by integrating persons with disabilities into our political, social, economic, and cultural lives to make our world more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable. 

This day is a call to action to mobilize support at local, regional, and national levels in order to increase disability prevention and rehabilitation funding; to implement or strengthen laws guaranteeing the rights of persons with disabilities to take part fully in the development of their societies, to enjoy living conditions equal to those of other citizens, and to have an equal share in the improved conditions that result from socio-economic development. 

Roughly 15 percent of the world's population – more than one billion people – live with a disability of some sort. Let's do what we can to help each and every one of us live our lives to the fullest as Stephen Hawking, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Helen Keller, Frida Kahlo, and Ludwig Van Beethoven did, and as Stevie Wonder, Malala Yousafzai, and Greta Thunberg do now, shall we? ☮️ Peace… Jamiese of Pixoplanet

Celebrating Comics: SDDC 

Since the San Diego Comic Con is happening, I decided to do a few paintings with comic themes over the next few days. Here are some of my favorites- Rocket and Groot. I love the Guardians of the Galaxy so starting out with them as the first painting felt right.

so we know now that the black widow film takes place after civil war. What if the movie picks up right after Nats conversation with Tony after the airport battle. Because after that scene we don’t see Nat again until infinity war. She wasn’t with Steve yet to help break their friends out of the raft. So what if during that time she was doing whatever happens in the black widow movie. That would mean we could get like an end credit scene or something with Steve Nat and Sam (maybe even Wanda) when they go in the run in between civil war and infinty war.
