Here's the deal...

Firstly, we are a long way from being prepared for a divine visitation, if we give credence to the ideology of the "end times" although Trump declaring himself as the "chosen one" may actually chime with this passage:

"The Apostle Paul mentions it when he declares that the ‘man of lawlessness’ will profane the temple by entering it and declaring himself to be God – 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4."

It's like trying to match Nostradamus prophecies. Good luck. For me personally, one important figure has largely been overlooked in this highly chauvinistic narrative. Mary, mother of Jesus. Jews have a huge issue to resolve with Mary, in my opinion. If they are indeed truly matrilineal in the transmission of their values, then they violated their own beliefs by wrongfully persecuting her son. We see today the same gaps in their thinking, that produced this original sin of theirs, that they apply to their entitlement towards Jerusalem - they're abstracting themselves.

It's utterly selfish to expect the Messiah to revisit an ungrateful bunch and present him with a state of affairs not any more evolved than the days in which he was crucified. If I were his mother, I would do everything in my power to prevent him from being destroyed again because anyone can see that if He came today without fanfare, the same outcome would be reproduced where he would get very limited love.

When you expect such an august visitor, you clean your house. You do your best to show his maxims were respected. You don't invite him to "Israel" while Palestinians are pushed from view like undesirables ahead of an Olympics.
