Hi, the person behind this silly account here! I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of PM blogs to follow to RP and stuff!

I'm having a lot of fun just doing my writing solo blogposts, but it'd be nice to interact with more people, I think. :)

Also, saying "me" (you) is perfectly valid, I aim to meet a lot of people to put Anima in interesting scenarios I could've never come up with on my own (as well as brainstorm new MW ideas).

Intro:

Hi friends! I'm Nikkie or Nik, Sometimes Seb (gender fluid), 28 years old. I love writing and roleplaying and would love to find some fellow writers! I am currently only looking for Original worlds, however I'm willing to discuss RPing in a fandom if it means some sort of AU. I love creating OCs but I'm always down to RP as a canon character.

I am actively seeking RP partners to world build and collaborate with. I would like for this to be a long term relationship. A little about me IRL, I'm currently 28 years old. I am a stay at home parent though and do a majority of the caretaking so I will probably have time to respond while I'm feeding the baby or he's napping, etc. I love video games and the immersive story telling that comes with them. I love TTRPGs and the collaboration aspect of it. I'm majorly autistic so I sometimes have a hard time with slang, so I might need you to explain something sometimes. I also have a touch of OCD, which means sometimes I have a few *quirks*, but I try to use my powers for good. As for RPing I've done 1x1 RP for about a year now. But I've done rp in a group setting as well as one on one in a TTRPG dynamic. I'm a forever GM for many D&D games over the last six years. So I'm no stranger to world building and running multiple characters. I've been writing for as long as I can remember, pretty much since I learned how to read I've been attempting to write down the stories I make up in my head. I am currently not interested in group server rps that do not have a TTRPG aspect with them. My little funny haha joke that I tell people is when I was five I told my older brother he had to become an illustrator so he could draw the pictures for the stories I was writing.

Literacy Info:

I would call myself semi-lit to lit. But I am sometimes an idiot when it comes to proofreading, I do my best but sometimes things slip past spell check. In terms of length of response I tend to match energy. So if you send me a wall of text, you'll get one back. I'm comfortable with rapid fire single paragraphs if we both happen to be online too though. If I'm starting out an encounter I usually do 2-5 paragraphs kind of on the chunky side. I can write in any perspective you want to. Though if I had to pick a favorite it'd be third person past. But I can write in present tense if that's what my rp partner desires. I am currently in the process of writing my own novel, a Dark Romance Mafia highschool sweetheart reconnection.

Requirements for an RP Partner:

My ideal rp partner would be at least 21+ but I'm open to younger so long as you're 18+. I have no desire to rp with minors.

I'd like to rp in a dedicated server where we have channels for art, world building, canon lore, etc. and obvi a gen chat that we can use to be silly in. I have a sever template I like to use, but am open to others if you want to chat about it. I love sharing memes but I don't have the Gen Z brain rot thankfully. If you're not comfy with moving to discord we can talk about that 100%.

Generally a good person, who is willing to interact outside of RP with me and chit chat about their day. Someone who does not just want to flirt OOC and never actually get to rping. Please, I'm married and we are not poly, so I am not interested in that. Just generally don't be a dick? Is that too much to ask?

Don't use AI please, if you want that route than rp with a bot please.

Be willing to collaborate on world building. I'm fine with running NPCs as I've done it a ton with being a GM but would much prefer we do the actual world building together.

Genres, Worlds, and Characters

Genres: Bold = Highly seeking Dark Romance Mafia Fantasy Historical Fantasy Urban Fantasy Cyberpunk with magical elements Sci-Fi (I adore the concept of Human's are Space Orcs/Earth is space's Australia)

Modern non magic worlds are cool, but I also like worlds with magic, whether it be high fantasy or low magic worlds where magic is dying out. I'm also open to historical fantasy (like arthurian legends type style) as well. I love slice-of-life style rp where our characters are just going about their day and we get to interact with the world we've built. For me romance is a must, I tend to play femme characters, I'm open to playing masc characters too, but I usually make them some sort of Trans. I'm open to any and all pairings including trans & futa.

In terms of oc personalities I tend to swing between shy, innocent, quiet characters or snarky brats with bite but will soften for the right partner. Also 99% of my OCs are under 5’3”. I love making up OCs for specific plots and then building them up from there. I have a few brief concepts, but I'm open to chatting about what would work best for different dynamics.

Why not write on Tumblr?

I have found Tumblr to be generally hostile to people who are just here to have fun and to write. Many others who don't understand that fiction does NOT equate reality, and still more who cannot conceive the idea that writers are not their characters. I have received death threats. I have been ousted from fandoms because people have spread lies. No matter how many times I try to leave and come back with the hopes of it being better, it just seems that fandoms get worse and worse with time. I'm very much over fandom culture, and seek now to find people who just want to engage in a hobby together.

What are you looking for?

more about me :

i'm 18! i've been roleplaying ever since i was very young online (mostly sfw duh). i can write in a few different styles although i'm not the best with grammar. people have told me i'm good/alright, so hopefully i am!! i normally either do long responses (200+ words) or short responses but i can go in the middle if necessary to mirror my roleplay partner/s; i prefer the longer responses though :) !!
