You should totally check out the Tank Girl! It has a movie and comic series from the 90's
She has a mutant kangaroo boyfriend named booga and the comics have a pretty cool art style
i know of tank girl, but never really watched or read it
i lowkey want to be a live nude model for an art school in paris
Empires fun fact of the day!
Turns out there was a reason there were 2 question marks on there! They're there to symbolize both new members, False and Oli!
Honestly didn't think too hard on the question marks but cool!
Okay another transformers concept rant
Hear me out. Can Cybertronians actually get stronger?
Now I know what you’re gonna say, “well yeah of course that’s why they train and do battle exercises-“ No, you’re not thinking hard enough, can they get Stronger? Like can they physically increase the amount of weight they can lift? Human’s and animal’s method of gaining strength is by tearing muscle fibers which regrow and increase, doing so repeatedly means more muscle mass and therefore strength.
Cybertronians don’t have muscles. I don’t believe their cables or whatever serves as their muscle equivalent works the same way as ours do. Machines don’t get stronger unless they’re upgraded with different parts (cough cough Optimus) and generally only have the capacity load that they are built to withstand. What if Cybertronians never really get stronger like we do? They can upgrade themselves sure but they can’t build that strength from training or exercising naturally- which of course leads to questioning why they would even bother training.
Simply put, most of their training is built around gaining battle strategy and agility. They may not gain raw strength but that only makes speed more important- you can’t get any stronger but neither can your opponent, pure capacity load difference matters a little less if only one of you can dodge shots as fast as you fire them.
There’s also the matter that while they can’t gain power, they can certainly lose it if they’re not careful. Machinery is more likely to break down or function slower when finally put to use after periods of neglect and Cybertronians function much the same way. If they want to keep themselves in their prime then they need to continue exercising, kind of like stretching to make sure you don’t pull something.
Just thought it would be cool if the moment they’re made they have a set limit of strength, which makes every bit of battle experience and agility mean that much more in every fight, especially for smaller bots who are generally automatically at a disadvantage.
I don’t know who DPR Ian is, but I watched Limbo and it looks like a lovechild of Ville Valo and LM.C wanted to star in a remake of The Crow
and I mean it lovingly
