*this show, I am not exaggerating, confronts issues you do not see unless you do WAY too many psychedelics. It's called starring into the void. Self loss. It's knowing NOTHING ABOUT ANYTHING...and trying to identify yourself without any outside variables OR knowledge. I've seen it. IT IS WORSE THAN TORTURE AND DEATH, IMO. And a fucking ANIME covers it!? I am impressed. (side note-if you can get thru it, you gain more confidence in who you are than ANYTHING you could do IRL. Rich people even do it all the time. Ayahuasca. Look it up. Dreaming WHILE purging <in EVERY meaning of the word> for 1-3 days straight*). Again-I want to point out this was in JAPANESE and translated, and still comes out deep as fuck. I almost wish I understood the original language entirely.
"Because only YOU are here. ... Without others to interact with, you can not truly recognize your own image. ... In the act of observing others, you may find and recognize yourself.
'Your self image is restrained by having to observe the barriers between yourself and others.'
"And yet, you can not see yourself without the presence of others."
Because there are others, I can perceive myself as an individual. If I am alone, then I will be the same as without others. For if this world is only of me, there will be no difference between me and nothing!
'By recognizing the differences between yourself and others, you've established your identity as yourself.'
*the reason people think psychadelics have 'flashbacks' is because, again IMO, it is more PTSD. When you see something DEFINING YOURSELF OR REALITY before you're ready to see that...it fucks with you. You have to be mentally and spiritually prepared to go ANYWHERE the trip takes you. It's ALWAYS for your benefit, long run, but you fight it...it haunts you.
