Decided to review my dating profile on the phone. It looked long. Too long. If I were someone else I wouldn’t read it. I do a lot of stuff on the computer, which is rare these days. Your phone does it all. My profile looked fine on the computer screen, long on the phone. So I deleted a lot. I like it.
My name is [redacted] and I draw motorcycles, play guitar, and sing songs about robots and girls. Not a watcher of sports and I prefer cocktails over beer or wine. Weird, but good weird.
Some bucket list items: Publish a book, build a custom guitar, learn another language (and go somewhere it is spoken), and jump on a trampoline.
My ideal match is thoughtful, intelligent, and whimsical with a charitable heart. She has read a book for fun on more than one occasion. She has interests of her own and hopefully shares some of mine.
Show my profile to your friends and family. Discuss it in a committee. Say hello. Tell me something about yourself. Ask me anything. Fortune favors the bold.
I think there is something to be said for mystery. I want to keep some details in there, just enough to filter out some. The thing about me watching sports is important: That’s weird and not like other guys. The thing about reading a book for fun is important.
Apologies to Barbara Kruger regarding the article image.

My name is ______. I'm something of a dreamer and schemer; I get lost in thought imagining what it would be like to design my own house, fabricate a guitar, or paint a huge mural on the side of a water tower. I prefer being in the company of those who encourage such things. I dig drawing, painting, songwriting, and any number of other DIY projects. I operate a small screen printing studio out of my basement with the hopes of making it a successful full-time career in the future.
What qualities should my ideal match have? Thoughtful, intelligent, and whimsical...these things should almost go without saying. I'd like to find someone with a charitable heart who encourages me and will let me do the same for her.
The lie I've told myself the last few years is "I'll worry about dating when my career and all these other pieces have fallen into place the way I want them." But that's just an excuse. The truth is that we're living life right now and I feel that maybe if you find the right person you can help support and lift one another up and put all those pieces in the right place together.
Sometimes I think it's just about two people catching a good vibe from one another, keeping an open mind, and putting your expectations aside. No one is going to like all your favorite sports teams, television shows, books, and music.
So what are you waiting for? Let's exchange a few messages. Maybe it turns into something.
Things to Come
I’m not sure what my next step is. Maybe I’ll send out some messages tomorrow. But here are some topics I’m planning to share soon:

I'm the successful product of sarcastic upbringing whose life is full of morbid humour, dark fantasies, and contradictory nature. Epitome of your worst nightmare that is good at working in team and judging book by its cover.
Some of these are oddly like poetry. And any one of them would have been a better thing to put in his self-summary.
