I keep seeing stuff about Sans and his eyes, and which he winks with, what that means, and who he does and doesn’t trust. Honestly, I thought of this before, and made my own head canon. Here’s it is:

Maybe, since he can have eyelights, but not a glowing eye, he doesn’t see well in his right eye. He still gets some visual information, just not clearly. Don’t know about any of you; but, when I have trouble seeing with one eye, I see better closing the afflicted eye. That way I don’t get conflicting visual information for my brain to sort.

Thus, my thinking is, when he is not just joking around, he winks with the right eye to see clearer. So, when in combat, he does the wink to better see the player/Frisk. And when meeting Toriel he does the wink to better see the person he had been talking to all that time through the door. So, maybe, just maybe, it has little to do with trust verses just getting a better look at someone. Obviously, yes, trust does play a part, but I don’t think it is the only reason.

Ohmygoddd you promised us a laurent crash out and you delivered it sooooooo gooooood such good food hell yeah!!!! Get it laurent!!! Scream yell throw with stuff we’re behind you!!!!!! Honestly the crashout was so good it has me second guessing my sanity because why did I for a second start wondering what if auguste is dead and since it’s from laurent’s pov he just created this vision for himself that he left them………… but just for a second….

AHHHHHHH i'm so glad the crash out lived up to its hype!!!!! i was so worried it wouldn't but it felt cathartic to write laurent FINALLY yelling at coach!!!
