Christmas?? Thats the holiday of our Enemies!!
Gildamore, 22 Tollonnim, 1273 VEK
Tales from the 27th of April
These strange people, creatures, and myself (Elias, Gildamore, Phillip, Rocket, and Mumakil) found this giant underground city type area. Where what would be the walls were made up of decaying buildings that climbed up the walls. Where we were ambushed by a group of fire dwarves! I tried to kill them with my ray of frost, but I kept stumbling on myself over the rock I was standing on and didn't want to hit the people in front of the dwarves. Nonetheless, the dwarves were all defeated in the end. Leaving us surrounded by the decrepit buildings that I was so tempted to scavenge, but didn't trust them not to fall on me. So I followed the rest of the group further in the main part of the underground like city where we saw this door where the elephant translated something about us needing fire hands or something to open the door. Honestly I was more surprised the giant creature with a long nose and giant ears could translate the things on the door, and the fact that my hands were on fire and lit up more words on the door. We still couldn't open the door, but we got more hints as to how the door can open. At which point there was a strange fire elf that revealed himself to us who goes by "Marikoth". Which, coincidentally, we have been looking for a book that was about him, and have heard nothing but terrifying tales from the people of Tel' Tepanda. In all honesty, he wasn't as scary as what I've heard from people because he healed the creatures in my group that were wounded in the battle with the dwarves and he was very calm talking with us and answering our questions. We followed him to his land, and his palace. Upon arriving there, we see everything on fire, and it's fire that HEALS us. I looked up and saw rib cages of dragons protruding out of the walls and making a lovely entrance for us into Marikoth's land. We get to Marikoth's palace, and naturally I'm looking for things to loot, but it is too well guarded. Marikoth offers to open the door that we saw down by the buildings where we first met him, in exchange for us finding some items for him and we'd be compensated quite well. He showed us a room full of gold and treasures. I was immediately interested in this quest he wanted to send us on. Marikoth tells us that the door leads to a crypt, where people don't enter into unless to put the dead down there, but that doesn't deter me. And it didn't seem to deter my group either as we all agreed to the quest and then we went back to the door for him to open for us. Once we got there, Marikoth put his hand in the hand print that was in the door, and the door lit up fantastically again and opened for us. He departs, and we walk into the crypt where we find four different caskets and a square plate in the middle of the room, which we figured out was a pressure plate. Mumakil, the creature with the long nose and giant ears who calls himself a "loxodon" stands on the plate and the caskets light up blue, green, red, and yellow in a certain order. We all figure we stand next to a different casket and tap the casket in the order they light up when Mumakil stands on the pressure plate (as they light up when you touch them). So we follow a series of interesting light up patterns, where at the end the caskets slide over towards the center of the room just enough to show an opening in the ground. At which point, Rocket, the other small being like myself who is a halfling, uses her spider like abilities and Mumakil turns her invisible to guard her from whatever she may find down the hole in the ground. She ventures into all the openings and they all lead to the same place. So myself, Rocket, Elias, Phillip, Gildamore, and Mumakil all adventure down the hole. We see two different tunnel options, the one on the left we can see doesn't really lead anywhere, and the one on the right we can see a glimmer of gold through the rocks that are there. So we clear out the rocks in the entrance and I can't help myself but gather the coins down the tunnel, while everyone else is wary of them as they might be a trap or poisoned, when in fact they led to a large pile of gold and treasures in a room. Then Elias and Rocket follow me down the tunnel and into the room after they saw that me picking up the gold didn't have any consequences besides the gold going into my satchel. Rocket decides to through a small thing of rations onto the pile to make sure it's not a trap or anything, and as she does, the gold pile just disappears and then there was a door behind us that closes.

I will guard the door, but I can not heal you.

"Visions of Destiny and Chaotic Mayhem"
Arriving at Tser Falls, our intrepid adventurers continued their interactions with the Vistani. Stories and food flowed, deepening their connection to this peculiar community. Madam Eva revealed another tale, adding layers to their unfolding destiny. The comical mishap involving a Wand of Polymorf left them covered in mayonnaise but also brought unexpected financial gains. As they prepared to depart, they set their sights on Vallaki, filled with anticipation and uncertainty.

Journal #16 Entry #4
We awoke in the morning, running errands before getting ready for the party in our honor. We all hatched a plot to get direct answers from Sylberos himself during the party.
We had the little one, Breeni, scout ahead to Sylberos' room to make sure it, and the path to it, were free and clear. Next, we had Phillip seduce and distract Sylberos' wife. At that point, it was up to me to get Sylberos to his room. With a little help from our new musical companion Gabidor, the mood was set and the time was right... For a heist!
I successfully persuade Sylberos back to his room where Elias had placed a teleport point back to our safehouse. We had successfully stolen the merchant prince right out from under everyone's nose at our own party!
Everyone met back at the safehouse just as I attempt to knock him out, unsuccessfully. The other little one with the "gun" she calls it, uses a magical rope to restrain Sylberos. And then, everything went bad.
Sylberos starts shapeshifting in front of us. Growing very rapidly, turning a sickly green and producing scales, it was unlike anything I have witnessed before. It was clear we weren't interrogating him anymore, we had to put him down.
While he was restrained and still changing, we try and silence him. As he grows past the point the house can hold, he breaks the rope restraint and brilliantly flashes his giant wings as he bursts through the roof and into the sky. He shoots down lightning into the house, incapacitating us all swiftly. It was clear we met our match almost immediately.
We couldn't kill him, not in the state he was in. As all hope was lost, Elias rang through our minds with one final idea: If he can teleport Sylberos away from the party, he could teleport him back.
So, in a last ditch effort, Elias reached up to the sky, uttered a spell, and the dragon was gone. Elias opened another portal for us all to rejoin the party, and reveal to everyone who Sylberos really is.
He ended up flying off into the distance. I doubt that's the last we will see of him, but next time, he will be ready for us. I just hope we will be more prepared for him.
Dear Eliza
Things keep getting weirder and weirder around here. We meet a woman, forgive me I forgot her name.
She was missing her Dino eggs. Literal dinosaurs.
We went down into the tunnels where Bree is sister resides and we found some shells. Turns out dragons make an impression on the first person they see. This lady was real worried that her Dino’s, have impression on someone else.
We think the people here see them as a religious symbol. We followed the eggs shells and found one little Dino all smoothed. Luckily we’re in a place of hecking magic. Rocket was able to bring it back easily and it made an impression on that woman.
We found the rest of the eggs, they were aboutt to be boiled. I tackled the woman, Breeni gave her a position of truth but she didn’t know so much so I killed her.
I don’t even give a fuck babe.

We set off in the morning to look for a ring, a precious heirloom, to return to one of Elias' contacts within the city. It was said to be with a person sent out to the gruesome battlefield, and hasn't returned.
We search some of the battlefield before coming across a lone man organizing the dead, seemingly for some form of last rites, and offering to help look, for more bodies. With much haste, Phillip swears on his life to get what the man asked for. We returned with many hands to help the old man, only to find him playing with the dead like puppets.
A necromancer. And a skilled one at that, but nothing I haven't dealt with before. I take charge against the undead horde, making them flee before my holy might. Those that kept charging met the end of my blade. In the end, Phillip kills the necromancer and defeats the zombie horde.
After resting up, we get a piece of mail, urging our help in a matter. A little red halfling looking for her stolen dinosaur eggs. The trail leads us into the sewers and tunnels under the city. I was fascinated with the infrastructure and odd cages littered around many rooms and was no help on the trail for the eggs. We found a statue that bore the likeness of the dinosaurs, apparently an ancient deity. Perhaps the thieves believe they have the children of their God?
