GUYS. In season 3, Felix stole the ring that controlled him from Gabriel. After that, Gabe took Emilie’s ring and ever since then Gabriel has been controlling Adrien. Emilie’s ring is the one that controls Adrien.

Felix is a mean, malicious, and self-centered person. Sentimonsters are based on emotions. Adrien is the polar opposite (hence why he’s a cat and Felix is a dog). This means that not only was Emilie a nice person, but it also means Gabriel was negative and malicious when and probably before he created Felix. They (Gabe and Emilie) BOTH used the miraculous. Gabe also already had the butterfly miraculous which gave him insane amounts of empathy as seen in part one of the season 4 finale (Risk). It’s very likely that when Gabe got the butterfly miraculous, it had an impact on how he acts and that could be why Felix is the way he is. It also explains why he let Emilie fall into a coma by letting her use the peacock miraculous.
