i’m reading the shadowhunters codex, i wish i could post clary, jace and simon’s notes here but my codex its in my first language so i cannot cuz almost no one would understand :(

I was re-reading the Shadowhunter's Codex and it just made me love Jace, Clary, and Simon even more. The annotations are amazing. Some examples:
Page 23:
Jace: By the way, most Shadowhunters think we have to name seraph blades just because Jonathan Shadowhunter thought it was important to make everyone memorize a lot of angel names. That guy was hard-core.
Clary: It does mean you rile at Angel Trivial Pursuit.
Jace: Also Angel Scrabble.
Page 90:
Jace: When two vampires love each other very much . . .
Page 113
Jace: I just wrote a thing, but it was not appropriate for a textbook so I erased it.
Simon: A room. You two. Get one.
Page 171
Clary: I can't believe Simon hasn't said anything terrible here yet.
Jace: His absence is almost eerie.

I’m rereading the codex and very interesting how in the section about Downworlders they used unnecessarily scary pictures which is both stereotypical and racist. It’s also a way of dehumanizing them me thinks. Shadowhunters smh just put a picture of Magnus Bane and Lily Chen you cowards give us the accurate representation!!!

my favorite part of the codex ;) (for those who have not read it, jace is the darker handwriting, clary is the cursive handwriting, and simon is the handwriting at the very bottom)
When I first read the Mortal instruments series I fell in love with it. Its still one of my favorite series to this day. After the horrible casting for the show I didn’t want to watch it, but now I ran out of things to watch and I miss the series so much...
I was starting to consider starting it but IT LOOKS SO BAD. IT LOOKS PERCY JACKSON MOVIE BAD. ITS BASICALLY THE AVATAR THE LAST AIRBENDER MOVIE. HELL... ITS ON THE SAME LEVEL AS MEAN GIRLS 2.
