Troublemakers. Parent Malec

The Lightwood-Bane brothers were know to be very level headed people. They usually talked their way out of something. But when it came to people talking about their Dads. The boys were ready to bust some heads. Which is what happened at school today. Rafael and Max had gotten into a fight with some other shadowhunter kids. Magnus and Alec came to pick them up. On the whole way home everyone was silent. It wasn’t untell they got home that Alec spoke.“ Get upstairs and sit at the table.” He said frimly. Rafael grabbed his little brothers hand walking up the stairs. Magnus and Alec followed hot on their heels. Magnus waved his hand opening the door for them. The boys walked in throwing their backpacks by the front door. Both sat down facing their fathers.“ You want to explain why you two got into a fight.” Alec asked. Rafael looked down at his brother.“ I started it.” He said. Max looked up with wide eyes.“ No it was my fault.” Max said.“ Some boys were making fun of me because we have two dads. I tried to talk it out like you guys said. But he shoved me Rafael saw and started punching him. So to pull them apart so they couldn’t hurt each other I set off a glitter bomb.“ Max said. Magnus and Alec shared a look.“ Well that explains why Rafael is covered in Glitter.” Magnus says. Rafael shook his head glitter failing everywhere. Max chuckles as it gets on him. Alec sighs running his hands over his face.“ Rafael you did a good thing protecting you brother. Max you did a good thing by helping your brother. I am proud that you tried to slove the problem by talking it out. You both won’t be punish but next time Max try not to use the glitter bomb.” Alec says.“ Yeah I have to agree with Dad on that one blue this stuff is not comimg off for weeks.” Rafaels says.“ Well it worked didn’t it.” Max states in a matter of fact.“ That was actually a thinking blueberry. You used it cause of the force to blow the glitter everywhere.“ Magnus said.” Thanks Papa.“ Max said.” Alright you too troublemakers go clean up for dinner.“ Alec said. Both boys left the table with a small trail of glittler behinde them. Alec looked at Magnus pulling him into a kiss.” What was that for?“ Magnus mumbled pulling away.” For help raising such wonderful boys.“ Aec said.

Lightwood-Bane Headcannons

* Rafael is super protective over Max

* Max will prank people with his magic that talk smack about his brother

* Rafael teaches Max how to fight so he doesn’t have to use magic to defined himself all the time.

* Max knows a glitter spell and uses it on Rafael for his first date

* Max and Rafael will talk in Spanish to each other 

* Rafael made Max a stele that looks like his because he really wanted one like his older brother.

* On Rafael's first demon hunt by himself Max followed to make sure he was safe.

* Rafael got in trouble and Max jumped out from the shadows saving him.

* Both of them are sass masters ( I mean have you met their parents. ) 

* When Rafael gets upset he starts baking. “ Bro why is their a bunch of cakes on the table?” “ Just eat it Max!” 

* Max is shy at first but once you get to know him you start to understand why he is a Bane. 

* Both Lightwood-Bane brothers have gotten kicked out of school because they have gotten into fights about having two dads

* Alec then proceeded to buy them ice cream

* Both brothers are close to each other.

* Pranks war often happen in the loft.

* Never mess with the Lightwood-Bane siblings unless you want to die.

Fights. Parent Malec

“ Do you think they’re home?” Max Lightwood-Bane asked his older brother.“ No Dad had some stuff to do at institute ,and Papa had a client.” Rafael groaned walking in their home. He sat on the sofa with a grunt. Max rushed to their shared room getting his brothers stele and first-aid kit. He soon came back sitting next to his brother. Rafael took the stele running it over his healing ruin on his arm. It healed some of the wounds but not all of them. Max got the disinfectant cleaning the ones that didn’t heal. “ You shouldn’t have gotten into that fight. I mean I am just a.“ ” Don’t you dare finish that sentence Blue. It doesn’t matter if you are a downworlder, mundane, or shadowhunter. You are my brother not matter what. Those guys were just being jerks.“ Rafael said. Max busts into tears throwing himself in his brothers arms.” I will get into as many fights as I need to to protect you.“ He added. What the brothers didn’t know is their Dads were watching from the door. Alec grabbed his husbands hand intertwining their fingerse. Magnus looked down at their hand looked up at Alec smiling. They turned to Max and Rafael looking at them.” Well since you got into a fight definding your brother. You won’t be grounded.“ Alec spoke. The lightwood-bane siblings turned to see their dads. Max shot up running to Magnus hugging his legs. Rafael slowly got up walking to Alec. He stopped in front of him smiling.” You did the right thing.“ Alec simply stated patting his son shoulder. Rafael grinned from ear to ear at his father.“ Max why don’t we go learn a new spell called glitter bomb.“ Magnus said picking him up. Rafael laughed knowing just how much Alec hated that spell.

I'M SCREAMING OMG IT HAPPENED

I’m not sure what I was expecting to happen when Magnus walked in but I started freaking out and screaming and jumping in joy when him and Alec kissed and Lydia was like “you deserve to be happy”
