Ok hear me out:

I love good drama or fluff mpreg fics ok? But at the same time I am totally for "shanebortion" fics, because the whole thing is reasonable in Shane's circumstances.

So I see a reasonable hollanov mpreg, where Shane doesn't immediately deal with it, like this:

Condom breaks, ok, these things happen.

Shane gets an oh shit pill that very night.

He's an athlete. He's a jock. He weighs A LOT. So the dosage is too little to work.

He has no idea it didn't actually work and goes on with his life.

Again, he's not a tiny girlie, he's a jock. He does not get an obvious bump till really close to term.

He starts to suspect some shit happened at some point.

"You are aproximately 6 something months along, abortion would be illegal", -- "Well SHIT".

"What do you mean you've been playing almost the whole season while pregnant. What do you mean. WHAT DO YOU MEAN".

Shane totally gets his reproductive parts cut out after the C-section.

Depends on the timeline, but it happens early-ish, joint custody with Ilya and dozens of NDAs would be hilarious. Babies and toddlers (but esp babies) are great deal harder to tell away from each other than, let's say, at least 3/4 year olds, so they would get away with the secret baby for a while. Ilya only speaks Russian in front of the kid, because he doesn't want to teach them his broken English, it would be counterproductive. So the kid switches language environment every other month.

These bitches swear a lot. Ilya thinks that the kid's first word was blyat', and he prays Shane never knows. Shane thinks the kid's first word was fuck. And he's not telling Ilya about it ever.

Shane: I will report you to the authorities for abusing kid's ears with Samara gorodok, and then you will have to pay ME child support.

help me find this one shanebortion fic please hr tumblr. i barely remember anything from the actual plot, but it was basically shane getting pregnant during their hookup years, then getting an abortion without telling ilya about it. he tells ilya years later tho. but i remember the scene where he went to the abortion clinic and he saw a teenage girl crying and he was like “see hollander you’re not the one having the worst situation here” to himself. if anyone has any inklings or recognition of what fic i’m referring to plssssss let me know
