the all eyes on rafah thing feels like the best way to quickly cash in on being pro palestine without actually giving 2 fucks. It lacks humanity and is detached from the reality of what's going on

I remember seeing a post saying how much Eddie is their favorite cause she points out how inhumane the Nabateans are whereas I would see that as a red (emperor) flag. Just goes to show that people are so drunk on "humanity fuck yeah" that they'll fall for dehumanizing propaganda.
I have straight up seen people call the Nabateans "invasive species". There is no hope.
Like, oh yeah these beings that HAVE HUMAN EMOTIONS and CAN REPRODUCE WITH HUMANS are inhumane beings. Yes yes.
Are we in any way, shape or form connected?

Gurrll write whatever you want to write. Don't let people tell you what you should and shouldn't write. Write the storyline however you want it to be written or feels how the storyline should go. It's your story.
I feel like this story has gotten a lot of attention that my other ones just haven’t had, and lots of people seem very aware of Miles’s morality in this story. Like, he’s obviously still a bad person but he can have redeeming qualities (in an AU at least). Immorality is what makes a story interesting. People make mistakes, bad guys antagonise the good guys; it wouldn’t be a good story if there weren’t any moral questions to be asked. A story needs stakes.
So Miles is not a perfect guy in this fic, but he’s also not the embodiment of evil. Life is nuance, and it’s okay for characters (eg Spider) to be conflicted and confused and react differently to how others would.
So maybe people will be disappointed with the direction it goes in, idk I just hope it’s as few people as possible!

Just... Don't look at it too hard
Okay, so I need to get a little something off my chest as I’ve gotten a few anxious message since the new ep came out (but also bare in mind this does come from a massive Michael Guerin stan so maybe I’m a little biased?). Michael doesn’t owe Alex anything at this point? Michael has been ALL IN with Alex the moment he came back to Roswell. It was Alex who walked away at the drive-in. It was Alex who decided he couldn’t be with Michael because x, y, z. So what if Michael is a little flirty with Maria? The man is hurting. He thinks he has nothing besides a hunk of scrap metal? He wanted a drink, he stole a bottle, and he flirted with the cute ass bartender who caught him in the act?
Please just take a deep breathe, and think about it before you all stress yourselves out so much that enjoying this show is almost impossible.
I get that we’re all in with the Malex ship. Hell, I have fallen so hard, so fast for this pairing that I do sometimes get a little anxious myself about their future. But we’re only four episodes in. Angst is a part of life, and it’s definitely a huge part of storytelling, whether we like it or not angst makes for good television. So I’m not telling anyone to stop loving Malex, or Michael, or Alex. Be passionate, be excited, be vocal. But stop stressing yourselves out to the point of breaking? TV shows are a way of escaping reality and living in these characters stories for a little while. Try and enjoy the ride, in whatever way possible. And, if it does get too much then know when to take a step back.
Happy viewing Malex fans, we’re in for one hell of a ride.
