Wood Carver: do you have an advice on how I can create the best sculpture?

Me: Well, do you know the 5 stages of carving techniques, 3 methods of selecting the best piece of wood, etc

Wood Carver: Yes, i got them down. Still struggling?

Me: What type of carving tools do you use? Can I see them?

Wood Carver:  Sure...

Me: Aha! Your tools are dull, they barely scrape the surface, let alone attempting to carve out the best sculpture made by humans….

Living in this modern day and age, there are more pieces of information on how to do anything, but outstanding and extraordinary life is scarce.

Aside, getting down purpose and meaning etc, the major hurdle to our productivity is dullness of minds. Hence, there are more mediocre products and existence. Being dull is like a noise in a marketplace, it is tolerated.

Inspiring and sharp minds bring creativity, excitement, solve problems and usher abundant hope to our lives and our world.

My commitment is to do something, one thing that sharpens my mind and soul every day and to stay far away from dull ideologies.
