Gods freaking out over Nico di Angelo [pt.7]

Persephone in her "mama bear" mode: Did my seeds help you enough? Did those giants try to kill you? Did they do something to you? Do you want me to take them out for you?! Are you fine?!

Nico: I'm fine,mom. Thanks to your help I stayed alive enough for the others to find me. And no,they didn't try to do anything to me,I think they were waiting for the right time but Percy and the others stopped them.

Persephone,nodding satisfied by his answer: Very well then,I'm happy that you are safe and sound here at home. It must have been horrible for you to be in that situation.

Nico: uhm...horrible? I mean...I got captured in Tartarus by the two giants while I was trying to close the doors,and they did put me in a Jar for a couple of days. I survived by eating only the seeds,which made me go into a death trance most of the time,and thus I lost my sense of recognition of it. And because of this whole experience my relationship with food has gotten worse and I forget to eat or drink most of the time. I also had a few dreams with Gaia in it,but that's not the problem,and the Giants were trying to kill me by making me running out of air slowly,but they never managed to finish their plan since I got rescued in time. And when I got freed,I had to crowl my way out because I was too weak to do anything else,Piper helped tho. But it wasn't really that horrible. It was...meh,maybe average?

Persephone,processing the informations her kid gave: . . . . And you call this average?! Are you kidding me?! Nico,this is extremely traumatizing,what you went through is not a small thing.

Nico: I know,but again,it's not that bad.

Persephone: It's not that bad?! I- you-.....HADES OUR SON NEEDS HELP!

Nico: But I'm fine! Dad tell her that I'm ok!

I love how in sab it's such a big plot point that Mal's gonna die before Alina and she'd be forced to live without him but then zoyalai comes in just like "yeah we're not gonna do that" and they girlbossed their way through life
