I'm gonna share a fun little story that just happened earlier this morning.

I was reading on AO3 while eating breakfast earlier. after my brother left to get ready for school, my mom took a seat next to me where my brother had previously sat. at some point she looked over at my phone and asked:

"The font on your phone is so small. You can actually read that?"

i wouldn't have been alarmed at any other time, but the fact i was deep into the chapter just full of smut when she peeked almost made my heart stop.

thank god she couldn't read what was i was reading cause she went on talking about how she can't read small text anymore and has the larger font size setting on her phone.

I don't understand why the catering beast lets the Rose Quartzling do that to her so much... it's been climbing all over her all morning.

Why do I feel like this AU might consist mostly of animal memes-

But, as you can see, Lil Q was very clingy as a tyke, constantly wanting to play and climb on his mama like a jungle gym and fluffy just let him.

Even when he gets older, he’ll hardly stray far from her, even after it’s clear he can fend for himself.

Unlike most animals, Fluffy never thought to “push him into independence” even after he grows massive. She does teach him the basics; hunting and forging for food, but other than that, but she never made the attempt to usher him away.

She doesn't mind the company at all, and in fact finds it to be comforting. He's so warm and lively, and for whatever reason he makes her feel a level of contentment that makes her feel... at ease. Happy, perhaps? Proud, protective?

She didn't know. All's she did know was that she liked it, and thus refused to do anything that might get rid of it.
