Night at the Museum x Reader - Prologue
Y/n is the little sister to Ahkmanruh and Kahmanrah. She died by stabbing herself in the heart with a dagger with which she was buried with. The one thing the two brothers agreed on, was keeping their little sister safe and happy and out of harm's way. Y/n’s mother regrets her decision but her father, although devastated at the loss of his only daughter, still believes that this was unnecessary of her. Y/n is also allowed out of her tomb as she is quiet and the others are intrigued as to why but, they've only been able to communicate with the girl around seven to eight times as she’s a quiet and shy one.

Her family stands around the girl in view of all that have gathered.
Her father, Merenkahre standing at the head of the girl, stone-faced and rigid but deeply sad inside, lets no tears shed as he stares at his youngest and his only daughter.
Her middle-older brother, Ahkmanrah, stands behind his sister, showing a sorrowful look as tears slowly roll down his cheeks.
Her mother, Shepseheret, stands at the other end of the girl and has tears flowing freely down her cheeks and she looks to her now pale, unmoving daughter.
Finally, the eldest brother, Kahmunrah. He stands behind his little sister as well and, surprisingly, sheds tears from his eyes and they drip lightly onto the girl's now snow-white arm.
Off to the side but still visible, a young Roman Prince stands with his head bowed down in respect, the rest of his family (Father, Mother, Older brother, older sister, younger sister, younger brother) around the young Prince with his father's hand on his shoulder.
In the young dead Royal's hands lay a bloodied dagger with the blade facing downwards towards the girl's mother.
She lays with her eyes closed and in a pure white Egyptian Princess gown and attire which will soon be replaced with wraps around her body with her dagger on the outside of the wraps.
Kahmunrah stares at his little sister with tears still dripping slowly down his face, his eyes go to the dagger that lays in her soft hands elegantly and he knows what he has to do.
She was too young, too precious for this to happen to her.
He has to get rid of them all for causing you this pain.

"Over here boys!" A tall male, Reginald, calls out and two more arrive and the next tallest one, Cecil, says, "Wow, look at that," before the last short man, Gus, also adds, "Isn't that a beaut."
In front of the three men sits a beautifully crafted sarcophagus with a whole bunch of scrolls, either completely empty, partially empty, partially full or full. There's also bunches of paper there that the three quickly learn is information on who lies inside. "Heh," Cecil chuckles softly, "What?!" Gus scowls at him, "It says here that whoever is in here, was the little sister to Ahkmanruh," Cecil explains to the two as he reads off the English version scroll before Reginald speaks up.
"It also says here boys, that her death was so sudden and tragic since it was she that stabbed herself through her heart and one of her maids found her a while later. She was said to be married to the Roman Prince three days later and he was already with his family. Her eldest brother, Kahmunrah, got so..." He trails off as the ink runs off the page, as if it were tried to be destroyed, "Well, that's unfortunate. Anyways! Let's let the movers do their work boys," Cecil tells the other two and they agree so they walk off, back to their office-like area.
The strange thing is though, they allowed y/n out of her containment but, the issue is that she cannot speak English but can understand it if that makes any sense. Teddy had been the first of the exhibits to introduce himself to the young Princess though, another issue is that she gets very scared easily but, after the first few nights, Teddy was able to get her out of her exhibit. The further away the two would get, the more the screams seemed to get louder.
She knew who was trapped, knew that it was her older brother Ahkmanruh, knew she was the only one to stop his screams but didn't know exactly why she was even though she knew they were siblings. Maybe it was because he could finally sense her, maybe it was because she would stick around or maybe even just for an entirely different reason at all.
Something that only Teddy knows -who's now become a really close friend of hers even through lack of communication skills but through yes and no questions- knows that she has attempted to free her older brother from his confinement, but to no avail as she is too weak. She questions why he won't be set free and Teddy can tell that she questions it but only tells her that they do not trust him but they trust her.
She's confused as she was the one that stabbed herself whilst Ahkmanruh was- well, she doesn't actually know how he ended up passing. See, not only can she not speak English, but she also can't read it so whatever the plaque says she can't read and no one will tell her, much to her disappointment. Other than Teddy though, she becomes quite close with rivals Jedediah and Octavius whom she just sees to alone and, to say, the two have quite interesting yes and no questions for her to answer.
But! For her best friend/friends; that takes the form of Attila and his crew who speak hun, a language she can speak fluently so the two have lovely chats. Quite frankly, people are thankful for her most nights as she calms his temper... except when she's upset or angry because then Attila and his crew will stop at nothing to punish this person.
Fast forward decades later, we arrive at current time, present time or whatever and y/n still acts the same and still wanders around now with others before returning to her area before sunrise. The nightguards are wary of the girl though, almost suspicious, but, alas, they can't find anything bad on her so they can't lock her up otherwise they'd have the whole museum on their backs.
We start our journey now, so! Sit back! Relax! Grab some food and drink! And enjoy your read.....
