SANS AND PAPYRUS

ShiftedTale is an AU based on Storyshift by @ut-storyshift

Here Papyrus takes place of Toriel and Sans of Asgore.

Sans and Paps are two members of the council that formed after King Asgore Dreemurr resigned his throne. Sans, referred to as The Warden, is in charge of everything barrier-related. He called the hunt for the next human soul that will enter the Underground. Papyrus on the other hand is tasked with taking care of The Undergrowth (ShiftedTale's Ruins. a rundown, old civilization taken over by nature). He resides in the Undergrowth looking out for any humans that might fall down.

so uhh,, fun fact, back in the day (as in like, 3 years ago) when I was into Undertale, I made one of those swap AUs that were all over the place. As you can see here, Frisk and Chara were in the place of Sans and Papyrus.

Hi yall. I'd like to start this post by saying that my Storyshift project will from now on known as The

ShiftedTale AU

I chose to change the name due to significant differences between what i had built and the original concept of Storyshift by @ut-storyshift .

That is to say, i will still be building off the main idea of storyshift swaps, however with a change

in ShiftedTale, Napstablook will take place of Chara, while Mettaton will take place of Flowey, while in Storyshift, it's reversed.

ShiftedTale AU is a sprite animated deltarune/undertale AU comic project strongly based on Storyshift AU, and obviously Deltarune and Undertale by Toby Fox.

Characters' roles and circumstances they are put in are swapped, leaving a lot of room for how they would act in different scenarios.

Hey yall here have some sprites

Candy - ShiftedTale MTT - Takes place of Asriel/Flowey. a drama queen ghost chasing fame - the comedy mask

Gloomy - ShiftedTale Blooky - an antisocial ghost, Candy's cousin who got stuck in the barrier after trying to possess it (Candy's idea), Takes place of Chara - the tragedy mask

The Soul Extraction Machine - built by Councilor Sans for the purpose of permanently absorbing and neutralizing a determined human soul ( can also absorbs monster souls)

Entertatton - The soul Extraction Machine possesed by Candy. Absorbed Sans's soul in the process - Neutral/Pacifist

Cotton Candy - a powerful being, the soul Extractor possessed by Candy, which allowed him to absorb every monster soul in the Underground. still desperate for more power. - True Pacifist

Flame of Hope - ShiftedTale Undyne - takes place of MTT - After a tragic accident while sparring with King Asgore Dreemurr, Undyne was left on the verge of death. Asgore, using the late Royal Scientist's research, figured out a way to make Undyne's body functional again, turning her into a cyborg-knight.

Burning Quake - FoH's Extermination Route Form. After FoH is struck down trying to protect Asgore, most of her robotic parts start malfunctioning and breaking off, however, with her sheer power of determination she is able to rebuild her body with her magic, in order to protect her father figure and the people Asgore cares about.
