Tiny Compliments
Bakugo compliments you, A LOT. Just, quietly. And you don’t know why.
You were smelling flowers while you two were on a date and then a tiny sound filled your ears, “You look cute.”
“Huh? What’d you say?” You ask, even though you heard him.
“Nothing.”
Another time was when you were looking in the mirror and he was sitting back on your bed after a day of training waiting for you to finish so you guys can go get something to eat.
“Stop looking in the mirror, you look pretty.”
You turn around trying to contain your smile as you say, “Hm? Say that again.”
“Nothing. Hurry up.” He mumbles.
Next was when you two were eating Pho at a restaurant Mina took you to a couple weeks ago and you wanted to get it with Katsuki.
You were blowing on your food and taking big bites so it got on your shirt. “You’re cute when you’re clumsy.”
“What was that?”
“Nothin’.” He mutters but then five minutes later when you finally get a bite in without spilling he mumbles, “I like when you eat.”
You look up to him and lean in acting like you didn’t hear him. “What? I didn’t say anything.”
But he did, and you heard every, single, time.
He has done this since you started dating seven months ago. The most recent time he did it was when you guys were studying alone after Denki and Jirou went to take a break.
You were stuck on a problem and biting your pencil so hard you could break it. “You’re smart, hurry up and answer.”
“Hm?” You ask taking the pencil out of your mouth.
He huffs a ‘nothing’.
You decide to be bold and confront him about his habit. “Why do you do that?”
“Do what?” He acts confused on what you’re talking about keeping his eyes on the book.
You lean forward, “Act like you didn’t just compliment me.” And his ears turn red instantly. “I didn’t.” He answers instantly.
“You did. And you do. I hear you every time I just want you not compliment me under your breath.”
He finally looks up at you. “Well I— I just don’t know how you do it!”
“Do what?” You copy him.
“Compliment me! You do it so easily.”
“Because you’re easy to compliment.” You say casually and the red on his ears spread to his cheeks.
“Don’t say what you don’t mean.”
You tilt your head. “But I do mean it.” You say with a half-laugh, half-scoff. “Why do you always say ‘nothin’’ after you compliment me?”
“It’s embarrassing.”
“Embarrassing to say that your girlfriend looks pretty?”
“No. It’s that—“
You cut him off, “It’s that what?”
“It’s just hard.”
“Listen, Kats. If you have a problem with being vulnerable, that’s okay. But I’m your girlfriend. Be vulnerable with me!”
He’s silent for a second before saying something. “You’re smart.”
“What’d you say?” You tease him.
“You heard me,” He growls, but answers anyway, “You’re smart. Don’t get stuck on an easy question.”
You grin from ear-to-ear, “Thank you. Now help me with this problem.”
At the same time Katsuki is helping you Jirou and Denki walk in with snacks for everyone. “Ooo, whatcha’ guys doing? Being a lovey dovey couple?”
“SHUT UP, DUNCE FACE.”
“Yeah, shut up dunce face. You know he’s embarrassed by being a lovey dovey couple all the time.” Jirou adds.
“YOU CAN DIE TOO!”
But there you are laughing right next to him from his yells and your friend’s comments. He turns to you. “I like your laugh.”
“What was that?” Denki asks even though he heard him loud and clear.
“DIEEEEEEEYUH!”

Notion — the staple for making your scripts, everyone knows it. It's easy to use and you can easily make a good script layout if you don't like templates
Remove.bg — a website to remove backgrounds for ur pngs going in ur script (idk if this is a me problem but everytime I download smth there's always a background)
Pinterest — self explanatory I use this not only for the pictures but I make a pinboard thing with multiple pins inside it and embedd it into my closet script so I don't have to export 1000 pics
Twinote, chatsmock, funsta — make your fake twitter, insta, and contacts
Postfully.com — make any chats you want for ur scenarios
Wattpad — a lot of good vibes, guides and more even though most of the guides are old or discontinued

MY HERO ACADEMIA DR ᢉ𐭩 being born to a scientist father who creates support items for heroes, MAYUMI FLORES grew up surrounded by pro heroes and dazzling acts of bravery. among them all, none shone brighter in her eyes than ALL MIGHT . ever since she was little, she dreamed of becoming just like them, someone who could stand at the front lines and save people with a smile. after all, heroes were the reason she survived an accident that nearly claimed her life when she was younger.
゛⸝⸝ ⋆ ꩜ unfortunately, her quirk hardly seemed fit for hero work. her quirk, LOVE POINTS , only allowed her to see the amount of “love” a person accumulated throughout their lifetime. because of that, people constantly discouraged her from pursuing combat heroics, insisting she should remain behind the scenes like her father. mayumi held no resentment toward people that support heroes, she deeply admired her father’s work, but she longed to stand beside heroes like ALL MIGHT or her uncle, SHOTA AIZAWA (although he rather not be bombarded by paparazzi), rather than simply support them from afar.
゛⸝⸝ ⋆ ꩜ but there was something strange about her quirk. the total amount of love points a person possessed often reflected how successful they would become in the future. heroes, celebrities, public figures, those adored by society all carried staggering amounts of love points. because of this, people frequently approached MAYUMI asking whether they were destined for greatness. yet MAYUMI own love points far surpassed anyone she had ever seen. even heroes. and that could only mean one thing… right?
࣭ 𑄹 𓈒 ֺ ONE DAY, while running an errand at seven years old, mayumi spotted a truck barreling down the road at full speed toward an elderly woman crossing the street. without hesitation, she sprinted forward and threw herself in front of the woman, shielding her from the incoming vehicle.
she squeezed her eyes shut, bracing for impact. but the collision never came. seconds passed in silence. confused, mayumi slowly opened her eyes, only for a gasp to escape her lips. surrounding both her and the elderly woman was a translucent pink dome, shimmering softly like glass made of light. the truck had crashed directly into it instead.
had… she done that?
then, a transparent pop up window suddenly filled her vision. in it is a huge ‘-50 love points’ with her current love points at the bottom, less than what she remembered.
and for the first time in her life, mayumi realized her quirk was far more than simply watching people’s attraction levels.
QUIRK: LOVE POINTS ᢉ𐭩 mayumi can see the “love points” people accumulate throughout their lives, both the amount they currently possess and the total amount they are destined to gain in the future. love points are generated through affection, admiration, trust, and emotional bonds. a single person can contribute enormous amounts depending on how deeply they care for someone, whether as family, friends, admirers, or lovers.
࣭ 𑄹 𓈒 ֺ however, mayumi later discovers that her quirk possesses a second ability. she can convert accumulated love points into a substance she calls solidified love , a pink energy-like material she can freely manipulate into different forms and textures. she can make it soft and elastic like jelly or hard and durable like steel. she can also transform her love points into concentrated energy blasts, firing pink heart-shaped projectiles whose strength depends entirely on the amount of love points consumed. the more love points she uses, the stronger her constructs and attacks become.
ᶻ 𝗓 𐰁 .ᐟ but her quirk comes with a severe drawback. everything she creates consumes love points proportional to the weight, durability, and power of the object or attack. once her love points are depleted, she temporarily loses access to her quirk altogether and must wait hours for her reserves to naturally recover.
the moment mayumi’s mother learned that her daughter’s power depended entirely on the amount of love she received, she immediately prompts mayumi to, in her words, “go out there and show them your cuteness !”
mayumi was pushed into modeling for her mother’s fashion brand, rapidly gaining public attention and admiration. by the age of thirteen, her love point reserves had skyrocketed to absurd levels. seeing the potential in her quirk, her mother sent her to japan to train under her uncle, aizawa. unfortunately for mayumi, training with the eraser hero proved far more brutal than she anticipated.
during a break between training sessions, denki kaminari, hanta sero, and mina ashido tried brainstorming ways to help mayumi replenish her love points faster without having to wait hours for recovery. that was when kaminari suddenly snapped his fingers.
“what if we just bombard her with compliments?” he said. “wouldn’t that basically create a love-point glitch?”
the other two stared at him in stunned silence before immediately applauding as if it were the first intelligent thing the blonde had ever contributed.
the three instigators quickly searched for someone to test their theory on and eventually landed on eijiro kirishima. once they explained the plan, kirishima frowned. “why can’t you guys do it yourselves?”
the trio exchanged knowing looks.
“because you’re the only one who can pull it off naturally.”
“maybe your manliness will boost her love points faster,” Sero added thoughtfully. “just… don’t call her manly.”
from across the room, mayumi chatted innocently with izuku midoriya and ochaco uraraka, completely unaware of the scheme unfolding nearby.
kirishima awkwardly approached her.
confused, mayumi looked up, only for him to suddenly clasp both of her hands in his and stare directly into her eyes and immediately bombarded her with multiple compliments, barely pausing to breathe between sentences.
“your eyes are really pretty.” “your hair looks amazing today.” “you’re seriously one of the coolest people in class—” by the time he reached his tenth compliment, mayumi’s entire face had turned violently red. and before anyone could react she exploded into pink sparks and collapsed onto the floor.
“mayumi?!” Uraraka yelped.
“should we take her to recovery girl?!” midoriya panicked.
meanwhile, kaminari, sero, and ashido huddled together in confusion. “wait… does this mean the theory worked?”
“did we accidentally trigger her drawback?”
as chaos erupted around them, the three were left thinking as uraraka, midoriya and kirishima were flustered on what to do with the poor mayumi who seemed to passed out. the trio speculates to be due to a drawback from being complimented too much to the point her attraction meter couldn’t handle it.
except, mayumi didnt passed out because of her quirk… she just simply short circuited from the overwhelming embarrassment of being showered with affection by the boy who she is attracted to.
quirk inspired by operation true love ! (the concept of seeing love points and barely even showing it is quite disheartening sobs) the last part came to me in a dream, so it might as well be my dr memories trying to bring me back to focus on my mha dr.

i'm so so sick and tired of seeing people resort to AI after a 'failed shifting attempt.' not a thing btw.. why?
cause it brings you comfort talking to chatbots of your s/o? or maybe even chatbots of your family members?? stop that. instead of wasting time on character ai, or wasting time on chatgpt – asking it to create some shitty scenario for you
why don't you actually put that effort into shifting instead??
i know it's easier said than done for a lot of people, but take what i say in the kindest way possible, you're not special enough to be the only person who's not able to shift. that's just stupid.
you can shift, I KNOW you can. while using ai may be comforting, imagine – no, realize how much nicer, how much more comforting it'd be when you shift and actually see them, and not their shitty chatbot.
imagine how nice it'd be when something so sweet happens, or something so dramatic happens in your dr, you'd think "woah, this is just like a scenario!!". it'd feel better then reading a bland boring and quite frankly lame scenario written by chatgpt, don't you think so?

do we *seriously* need to use ai to generate 'realistic' face claims? do we forget cosplayers exist? do we forget face claims on pinterest exist? do we forget you literally don't even need to script face claims in the first place?? you can literally just go into your dr and see how unique, gorgeous and amazing they look first hand!
and delete character ai right now, or atleast delete those chats with those bots of people from your my hero academia dr.. (i see yall...)

first up, MeMi Message.
(just found out they added a AI update like 20 hours ago, funny timing isn't it?? the app works perfect without the ai feature since it's premium.)
i use this app to make texts between me and my friends in my dr, i get inspiration for funny texts or sweet texts scrolling on tiktok, or through pinterest. (or whatever ideas i have in my head tbh)
example texts i made that i ended up scripting into my dr. (featuring my lovely boyfriend denki💗), these are from oct 2024, it's so easy to avoid ai.
second app, TwiNote
its a pretty straight forward app, you can make fake tweets on it! it works pretty well for me to this day! you don't need to use status. And again...i've scripted some of these tweets into my dr. (featuring my mha dr, again!)
see how easy it is? to not use ai? you have these apps, pinterest – if these apps don't meet your interest, then you always have procreate or ibispaint x to edit stuff! why resort to ai when you can do it yourself?

yeah! the third app is infact tumblr, more specifically...this is for the people who use character AI and chat gpt alot for shifting. you have SO many talented writers, who love taking requests that are personalized! why not request them? why not support real authors, and script their fanfictions as scenarios in your dr? there's all KINDS of stuff on tumblr, from gut wrenching angst too the best smut you've probably read in your life, there's a slice of cake for everyone.
dont really know how to end this rant off, so i'll just say whatever's in my mind and whatever i can remember. YOU are capable of shifting. it's a practice, you can do this. doubts are okay, they're fine, let them pass on their own. why? cause i know that you know, you can shift. shifting IS real. and you especially, are so so capable of it. it's been around so so SO much longer then just 2020, it's been hundreds if not thousands of years, it just existed under different names. AI is comforting, but it's much more harmful. not only to your mental health, but to the planet. it's getting harder to avoid ai, but we can do our part and atleast try.
