They don't hate berdly they just find him annoying (MIND YOU. BERDLY PISSED ME OFF SO BAD IN THE GAME SO I UNDERSTAND THE 'WHY KRIS WHY'' but the fandom made me grow to love this fuckass bird . I LEARNT ABOUT KRERDLY BEFORE ACTUALLY GETTING INTO PLAYING THE GAME. I love this crackfic. I used to jokingly ship them too but I ended up actually shipping them smh)

and depending on the plot, after a while in their relationship- Berdly opens up about his feelings regarding his relationships (whether it's like traumatic, or lonely or just overall strained) and his feelings toward Kris or any emotional big talk- both the player and kris feel sentimental and they both just accept the fact they now have a goofy, nerdy bird for a partner.

then we have like;

scenario 1: Kris: DONT MAKE ME SAY YES YOU PIECE OF SH-- Player, speaking for Kris: sounds great babe

3RD SCENARIO IS THEY FIGHT OVER WHO GETS TO TALK TO BERDLY . This 3rd scenario only applies if the player (cough me) likes Berdly enough to want to talk to him like he's our partner too (he's not . he's kris's)

i had a dramione dream a long time ago in which draco was this lestat-type old age vampire who spent his life looking for his soulmate until he found hermione the human, who lived her human life in the company of lestat!draco and then passed away, only to reincarnate, grow up, meet lestat!draco and spend her life with him again and this repeated over several hundred years and several hermione iterations until her very last reincarnation which caused lestat!draco to actually age and they both passed away into eternity together. it was this beautiful dream where lestat!draco had spent his long life waiting and searching for hermione's variants and dedicating his life to her. he even had this room of paintings of pictures of each of her variants, because she really was the only one for him.

ever since then, whenever i read a fic for any one ship, i treat all of the previously read fics for that ship are just previous reincarnations of that ship and thinking about it like that really enhances my experience of reading fanfic, especially slow-burn, because it just adds to the richness of the ship in my head. truly one thousand yearning lifetimes for the same two idiots over and over again until they age into oblivion into the cupboards at the back of my mind.

Inuryuu Diary (+Spoiler 147.1)

I'm lacking my dose of Inuryuu. So, I'm going to be loud and start making some Inuryuu hole.

Anyway a little spoiler 147.1 Gaku baby, the chapter literally about Inui random dreams...or more like special chapter for "cafe Collab".

Inui saw the daycare kids, Ryuuichi and other, working part-time at a cafe. Usaida then asked if he'd be interested in joining them.

This is Inui's POV after Usaida's question :

(Why are you so down bad dude... I know deep down you want join them because Ryuuichi lol)

Alright, alright, maybe you think this is nothing special at all. You know, even though Inui seems to like Ryuuichi female version. But the story always emphasize, when he's not in denial, it's really clear Inui likes Ryuuichi for who he is-His kind, gentle, and caring personality towards Kotaro and the daycare kids.

Even from the chapters before his whole 'liking and denial' :

In the end 147.1 obviously after Inui saw Ryuuichi, and then Kotaro. It made him yell out that he wanted to help them and then he woke up from his dream. He truly has a soft spot for Ryuuichi and Kotaro aww.
