Well, it parallels an earlier moment between Sokka and Suki, when they’re standing outside Ba Sing Se and staring at each other trying to find the words to express their (romantic) feelings… right before the earth bender soldiers make a wall spring up between them

The way both 'Zootopia' and 'Good Omens' didn't need to have sequels, but both 'Zootopia 2' and 'Good Omens 2' managed to be an in-depth character study of the two protagonists that get shipped together in order to show that they could be in a very satisfying relationship if they learn to recognize their flaws and traumas first is something I didn't expect to love so much

the smallest connection ever between jason grace’s (hoo) and newt’s (tmr) deaths in terms of newtmas and jercy that i can’t stop thinking about

newt dies after he begs thomas to shoot him, he’s losing his mind slowly and in his anger, he blames thomas for everything that’s happened to him. he says killing him will “make amends” for everything thomas did to them. and thomas does it. his choice literally kills newts.

jason dies while fighting a roman emperor on a boat so that piper, apollo, and meg can escape. his death served many purposes to the story but he shouldn’t have been on that quest in the first place. percy turned down the quest, making space for jason to take his place and then he dies on a boat surrounded by the ocean, the place where percy wouldve been at full power. his choice indirectly kills jason.

two blond characters both killed off in ways that directly stem from their brunet best friend (or something more if you ship newtmas and jercy romantically, which i do because i love multishipping)
