I wasn't really sure if this had been asked before, and I checked the tags first, but I was wondering if there were any stories centered around Chuck's books since we know they were still being published online, and Dean getting curious and in the process finding out how many fans support him and Castiel being together. Perhaps one where he stumbles upon some Destiel fanfiction? The funnier the better!
We’ve gotten similar asks before and so we’re creating a new tag to help people find fics like this. Relevant tags: shipper!becky, chuck, meddling!gabriel. So…here we go: TFW and fandom/fanfic/conventions/etc.
A Judicious Application Of Free Will (features the books and an SPN convention)

Meta Madness [NC-17, 27,000 word count]
Life in the Men of Letters bunker had settled into a normal routine, if you could call anything about two supernatural hunters, a prophet of the Lord and a fallen angel sharing a secret society underground bunker normal. Man, thought Dean, that sounds more like the beginning of a bad joke than the strangeness that was his life. Things only get stranger when Charlie tells the boys that she has found them a case - there is a haunting on the set of the Supernatural movie set. Yes, Chuck’s books are being turned into a movie and Sam, Dean and Castiel are none too happy about their lives being twisted into a movie for entertainment. They are even more surprised about some of the liberties taken with their story. And to make matters even worse, the Ghostfacers are already on the case!

“What about Castiel? He seems helpful… and dreamy." Something about the comment just isn’t sitting right, and Dean’s jaw twitches.
