Cinder met Winter while at Atlas and absolutely hated her at first.
Winter never understood what Cinder had against “Atlas elites” and never really questioned her.
While the two ended up on the same team, they werent partners and Cinder was openly hostile to Winter up until she slipped one day and let the scars around her neck show. Winter then understood what was going on
Every day after Winter found out, she always made it a point to try to get along with Cinder and to make sure she knew she had a team to back her up. It took a while for Cinder to be convinced she wasnt going to just be dropped, and soon started warming up to Winter.
Winter was also the first to ask Cinder out on a date during their third year at Atlas. Cinder was hesitant to agree, but ended up going out with Winter anyway knowing she wouldnt hurt her
The two didnt officially come out as dating until after graduation
Cinder didnt quite understand why Winter joined the military, but supported her for a while.
Ultimately, the two didnt see eye to eye on how Ironwood was running things, eventually splitting the two up to become rivals: Winter with the Atlas military and Cinder with the Happy Huntresses.
Winter never lost any love for Cinder, but understood why they were both at odds with eachother.

Nordic Winter (Nora x Weiss) for the headcannon
Weiss was the first to ask Nora out on a date. It started as a lost bet, but the longer Weiss was with Nora, the more she cared.
Once the two got together, Nora spoiled Weiss with affection.
The moment Weiss found out Nora didnt have family, she did everything she could to try to be the family Nora needed. She even managed to rope in Winter and Whitley to help out.
Nora still cant admit to Weiss that she hates being smothered by “family” things because she enjoys Weiss’s smile too much
Upon graduation, Weiss followed Nora back to Anima. Nora insisted they go to Atlas, but Weiss wanted Nora to be happy.

Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa - Giselle, dearest. She’s constantly so excited about the new world and talking to Robert that sometimes she’s too distracted to notice the door sign. Robert is already a certified door opener to prevent this from happening too many times. (the world isn’t ready to understand Giselle’s magic, plus, Giselle loves it when he opens doors for her and he always gets a kiss!)
Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them - All of Giselle’s notebooks and sketchbooks are full of those :3 but Robert also doodles those little hearts when he’s having a boring day at work.
Who starts the tickle fights - Robert. Giselle is AWFUL at tickling others. But Robert loves her laughter and he knows she loves the tickle fights, so he always starts them.
Who starts the pillow fights - Robert’s kid! And it’s a full on war inside their home :D
