Bullying

We shouldn’t call anyone a bully. Instead, bullying is an action. It’s real and on-going. 

And the playground teacher, the gallo-gallina, as we’d nickname her, I sure wished that I knew where she lived. She’d tortured as worse than anyone and she’d enjoyed it. I’d like to set a dynamite charge to her house and blow her ass to simthereens (p. 268). 

Although Victor’s idea of blowing up the teacher’s house isn’t ideal, he mentions an important fact that does happen at school. Adults bully children too (Who holds the power and how is it used or abused?).

One can interpret the way Victor feels as the “target victim” adopts the bullying aggressions. In the following video, Alex explains that “They pushed me so far that I want to become the bully (3:28-3:33).”
