Even though my nose is running like a tap I actually feel great! It's going well getting my dogs out for a walk especially because we cant go to our usual places as Eevee is in heat and can't be off leash. Love how filled out she is becoming!
WHY DO I TAKE JUICE PLUS? I am extremely skeptical about vitamins, health pills, weight loss pills, etc. It took me about a year after my family had been on them. My mom used to try to hide them in my smoothies and it was a everyday battle for her to get me to take them. After dental surgery I agreed to take them daily just to help prep and heal me quicker after. A week later I was in a bad car accident with whiplash, bruises, sores, cuts, and a sprained and partially torn ankle. I again agreed to take them. I did heal amazingly I will say that. After surgery I had absolutely no extra bleeding, no bruise, and basically to none inflammation. After 3 days and being as stubborn as I am I gave up my crutches. Why? They pissed me off, and I thought hoping would be better. 4 days later I limped into college orientation. So I had quite a bit of a rough week and I soon went back to reluctantly on and off Juice plus. I then by my own choice started taking them more regularly. I am and always have been a picky extremely picky eater. At least with taking Juice plus I didn't actually have to eat the veggies and fruits that I hated. And in my mind even if I ate complete crap I was still getting all the veggies and fruits I needed. I did notice small things here and there but I noticed the most when I did the Shred10. After the first rough days I started to feel energized, better moods, my stomach stopped hurting and feeling bloated 24/7. My social anxiety from senior year at high school till today improved a ton. I didn't have to many bad cravings and I actually wanted to get up in the morning. My initial reasons for Juice plus: -Grow my hair (hasn't grown since grade 9) - Get the fruits and veggies without eating them -Prevent myself from getting sick constantly Those were my first reasons but I did not realize how important, how good they were and the many benefits. And I sure did not think that it would change anything other then getting some decent nutrition. I know this is long but I thought I would share!

SHRED 10 If you have been keeping a eye on my page for a bit you will have seen that I am quite stressed. Have fallen off the band wagon for a bit, and having some stomach and skin issues. I have decided to join the next shred 10. SEPTEMBER 5th it starts and goes for 10 days. If you have not heard of shred 10 it is almost like a mini diet/cleanse/ competition. People go hard core for 10 days then with that ball rolling stick to healthy living choices after. Could be cutting down from 3 cups of coffee a day, to 1. Or walking 2 km everyday, cutting out gluten, etc. One simple change to stick to, that helps keep you healthy and happy. This is in coordination with the company JUICE PLUS. They have a line of whole food nutrition, forms of capsules, protein shakes, protein bars, omega 3 vegan capsules which I had posted about in April. I will be doing a kind of in depth summary/research about what is exactly in the capsules. But honestly its just food. So for the shred 10, we cut out caffeine, alcohol, gluten, dairy, processed foods, refined sugars, o eating past 6. take the capsules everyday, two shakes everyday, and exercise once a day. In the photos there is the list of rules if I forgot to mention any. And super summarized info about capsules. I will be blogging and posting almost daily about my experience again. CONFESSION
So if you have been following or skim scanning what I have been posting. I did my first shred a few days ago. First and foremost I am a picky eater, I'm not huge on vegetables, or vegan foods, I love my meat and my mcdonalds. I have a pretty good metabolism so Ive never had a huge issue with weight. But I have noticed since after the shred and going back to my normal eating that my stomach is constantly hurting or super loud/ gurgling. And I don't like that at all. To the point where I might continue the shred for a bit longer. Kinda do my own thing. Or do like a 30 day shred and have a few cheat days because lets be real. It is super damn tough to completely change your whole diet around with no struggles or accidental cheats. I feel if i have a certain cheat day during the week. obviously not to just binge on ice cream all day. I'm just talking like normal cheese on gluten free pizza. That that will help with less accidents with slip ups during the week. To be more strict and determined on my end. So I'm not 100% sure but I think I might try it out and besides summer is coming up so really more benefit then anything.
SHRED 10 DAY 7
Super laid back day, basically just ran errands. Worked out, and hung out with a friend. Not a lot at all. I keep pretty basic with my meals since I'm not into a ton of vegan food so I stick to what I know and like. MEALS- BREAKFAST- Smoothie (chocolate juice plus protein powder, frozen pineapple, peaches, grapes, strawberries) and a bowl of fruit LUNCH- vegan rice noodle bowl DINNER- steamed broccoli and cauliflower DESSERT- vegan lime cheese cake with was super amazing
SHRED 10 DAY 6
Busy busy day! Woke up and rushed to get ready as I had to be a body for Palpation for a friend at the college. So got ready pretty fast and brought a smoothie with me. Came back home after eating some Edo and had a nap before I had to run out the door for clinic. Got out late and couldn't wait to get home before eating so I had a pizza unfortunately I cheated. However I have a completely free day tomorrow and I plan on running and eating strict. Unfortunately clinic days are so busy its hard to shred on those days. But I do want to finish strong for the end of the shred. So gonna have to go hard the next 4 days. :) MEALS- BREAKFAST- Smoothie (frozen strawberries, chocolate juice plus protein powder, cashew milk) LUNCH- Edo (rice, veggies, chicken) DINNER- cheat meal? 😂
