you don’t have to share this but also, like…Shuro was one of the first people willing to sacrifice his selfish wants for Falin’s happiness. Marcille and Laios took until nearly the end of the story to accept Falin’s death, while Shuro was there on day 1 like ‘if I cannot bring her back to life then I will give her an honorable and respectful burial, so she can rest in peace’. Falin was genuinely considering marrying him because he’s a great guy, and only didn’t want to because she didn’t have feelings for him.

Shuros actions and feelings get completely misinterpreted and purposely wrongfully explained. Before I started watching the anime the posts I read about him had me thinking he was some sexist misogynist who was creepy towards Falin (most fanart and fanfics having marcille come to her rescue)

But that's the exact opposite of the truth.

The fandom draws and writes their dynamic as if she's uncomfortable by his presence in reality she's very comfortable around him and genuinely likes him as a friend and cares about him. Sure she considered accepting his proposal but she cared enough about him and his feelings not to.

She wants to travel and do more with her life and she didn't wanna give that up. Though she did promise to go to his home town to see him again.

Their dynamic is cute and not even toxic like how the western fan base tries to convince everyone it is
