Four Steps for Serene Sleep: A Magickal, Nighttime Routine.
As suggested by @daisyprayers, I have specifically established a magickal, nighttime routine for myself that they thought that I should share with you all. This is because I struggle with night terrors and insomnia, thereby resulting in sleep anxiety, therefore, this magickal, nighttime routine is more so geared towards mental health: please, tailor the routine as specifically needed.
Step 1. Begin the magickal nighttime routine by casting a magickal spell that focuses on relaxation and anxiety reduction, such as my Tranquil Sleep essential oil spell.
Step 2. Afterwards, if you have [electronic] tealight candles or fairy lights, turn them on to a low light setting to help set the ambient mood: if you’re worried about falling asleep with the lights on, be sure to turn them off after step three.
Step 3. If needed, be sure to take all of your necessary nighttime medications before proceeding with the rest of this specific step. Subsequently, climb into bed and begin scrolling through Tumblr, specifically Tumblr’s such as @daisyprayers because they post wholesome positive, witchy affirmations that greatly assist in really creating an optimistic atmosphere for a serene sleep. However, please be sure to set a specific time limit for how long you’ll scroll through social media on your phone: you do not want to accidentally alert your mind into being awake more than need be.
Step 4. Lastly, after scrolling through positive, witchy affirmation posts, such as @daisyprayers, I usually turn on the following ambient noise and before finally leaving my phone away from me so I can focus on sleeping, but overall nearby on my nightstand specifically for the ambience.
