im so tired of following people and then having them put stuff on my dash about trans men not being oppressed / all the things trans men experience being things trans women experience but not vice versa / "i hope all trans men die" / ect

im glad that i dont see the same about transfems anymore (as ive been blocking terfs for years)! i hope thats because its genuinely gotten better!! that said the influx of "trans men have it easy and have all the power" is exhausting to say the least. can you not parrot the same terf talking points but for transmascs perhaps ?

as i was making the tags ive learned that some of the arguments ive seen are blatantly false. transfems have shittier income rates, transmascs have higher physical violence and sexual assault. the point is that neither side of the binary are "greater than" the other and why are we reinventing and reinforcing the same gender essentialism thats ruining our fucking lives anyways????

anyways every time I think that I am fully a high school teacher who should stop teaching 8th graders something happens and I am reminded of how much I love 8th grade boys simply because they are still such kids and can be managed with sternness/fun.
