Sign Posts, Star Post, And Goal Rings Are Literal

So in Sonic Frontiers Sonic straight up mentions the existence of Sign Posts and Goal Rings confirming they are an actual thing and not just a gameplay mechanic. This is further backed up by the fact you can fish one up in Big Fishing sections with a description further confirming this. They also depict Classic Eggman confirming again Classic Sonic is Modern Sonic's past self.

Separately the Star Post can be fished up with a description that tells us to can teleport someone out off danger as they fall down into a pit if you've previously touched one. This also may mean extra lives aren't literal in the Sonic world. Written by Eris

A suggestion for those into reusing/recycling/gardening...

Right now, we’re ramping up for presidential primary season in the US, and lots of people are running. After the primary elections, a lot of candidates often drop out of their races. If they are too busy, or they just don’t care, or they have a lot of money, but not much popular support, they leave their signs by the side of the road.

Why is this important? If you come across a sign or signposts that someone left behind, and you know they have lost, and it’s more than three days or so after the election, feel free to take it! You can use them for posting your own signs, for plant supports, for holding decorations, or for whatever you want! Most of the signs will be the standard wire stakes, but there is a chance some people may leave behind big sign stakes (around six feet tall!). You can use those for posting big signs, banners, more permanent signs, or more! (My mom plants peas and uses string hung between the posts to support the vines!)
