A/N: Would die if they were jealous over me. Melt into a puddle. Gone.
When Viktor gets jealous he gets a bit more withdrawn than he usually is. Not that he was ever a social butterfly, however he was always more open and happy to talk when it was with you. So his behavior is odd, he even seems to get quieter whenever you walk into the room. Like he's trying to remove himself from you with silence.
"I am not avoiding you. Look, there has been a lot to do for the past week, I'm sorry if you got a bad impression but I was simply busy. If you want more company, go ask Jayce, or Skye, I'm sure they will be more than happy to entertain you, darling."
Viktor is short with his answers, saying as little as possible to minimize the amount of time he spends talking to you. Not because he doesn't want to talk to you, he loves talking to you, but if he keeps talking there's a chance he might say something he's going to regret. And end up hurting you.
"There you go again with these ridiculous accusations. You won't leave it alone will you? So now it's my fault that your project is running late? I would have been happy to help but someone was too busy talking with... you know what, nevermind. You're right, we both have a lot to do, so let's just drop this conversation and focus on work."
If you keep getting in the way of his work, Viktor will eventually come to a breaking point. Him not being able to work is only adding to his emotions, and he's never been the best at dealing with them. While he doesn't exactly yell at you, it's very rare that he ever raises his voice there's a notable frustration in his words, and pain, fear that you'd leave.
"If I'm being so unreasonable then leave. Go. Have fun. I know it's not idea to be cooped up in the lab all the time. There are so many more things to do out there. if you... want to go with other people I suppose I can't stop you, nor can I stop my own jealousy. How am I being even more unreasonable? I know you wouldn't leave me without talking about it. Look... I do not... want you to leave, working is more fun with you. But am I truly all that you want? Me? This lab? Because you're all I want. All that I can think of."
When Jayce gets jealous he keeps invading your personal space when you're around the person or people he's jealous of. His behavior is nothing innapropriate or pushy. It's just his arm around your waist, just him bringing you that drink you wanted, just him bragging about you a bit too loud and saying how much he loves you.
"You really are great, babe. How in Runterra did I ever find a beauty like you huh? What's that bashfulness for now, I always praise you, and I'm never gonna stop. You're my girl right? I can be a proud boyfriend and talk you up every once in a while."
Physical affection a big deal to Jayce and a way he shows he cares but also a giveaway to his jealousy. He holds your hand longer, his eyes flicker between you and the one he's jealous off, his smile is a bit more nervous when he has to leave you alone. Then there are his kisses, not as gentle, not a little, quick peck on the edge of your lips but a real kiss, lips pressed against yours until you let him know you need air.
"Got a bit carried away there. Ah, sorry, I can't resist you sometimes. All the time. Do you expect me to when you wear lipstick like that? Makes your lips look like they're made to be kissed. By me specifically. I'd kiss you all night long, for the rest of our lives and never get tired of it."
Jayce keeps denying that he's jealous when you bring it up in a teasing way. Logically there's no reason to get jealous, everyone knows your relationship is doing great, in fact you're hardly ever fighting and even when you are it doesn't last too long. How does he turn that part of his brain off? How can he not get jealous when all those people look at you the way he looks at you?
"They're always looking at you. How can you not notice? It's so obvious. You don't notice because... you're only looking at me? That doesn't even make sense! Of course they're looking, you're breathtaking everywhere you go. I just hope that wherever you go, you'll always take me with you, because I want to be by your side forever."
Ekko often jokes about being jealous so you don't pick up on him actually being jealous. A little jealousy is fine but not when it's getting in the way of his missions and operations with his team. He'd been a bit distracted in the past, by one of the Firelights flying too close to you, so he pushed his way between you two.
"It was the formation! Which you would have remembered if you weren't too busy chatting. Come on, Firefly, get your head in this. Otherwise you're gonna make your leader jealous. Wouldn't want that right? What if... what if you get demoted for it? Hey! Ow! I wouldn't demote you, who would listen to all my plans?"
When you have free time together Ekko makes sure to spend as much time with you as possible. If you're together all the time there's less chance that someone else will swoop in and flirt with you. He would never describe his behavior as being clingy, all he wants is to spend free time with his girlfriend. That is perfectly normal behavior.
"What do you say we go out to get some food? We don't have to spend all our time here. Not like the tree is gonna burn down if we're away for a couple of hours right? Besides it's been a while since it was just you and me all alone. Miss being alone with you. Don't you miss it too?"
If the person he's jealous of ever puts you in danger in any way Ekko will go off on them. Harder than he scolded others in the past. He might let some of his jealousy show then, but he storms off, well flies off before you can talk to him. As much as he wants to be alone he also makes room for you on his hoverboard when you float down next to him.
"Shouldn't have went off on them like that. I know, you don't gotta say it, I'll say I'm sorry. Let cool off a bit. You'd think that if they were flirting with you that much they could have been looking out a bit better. I'm always looking out for you. Maybe a bit too much. Sorry if I've been weird about it lately. Would you forgive me if I took you on a romantic hoverboard ride?"
No one wants to piss off a big man like Vander by flirting with his wife. Everyone values their life and their bones too much. But... they stare at you. Quite openly actually. You see it, and you bet he sees it too. He sees everything that's happening at his bar and he won't stand for someone ogling his wife, even if he has to get aggressive about it.
"It's my damn bar, I've got the right to break the table with their heads when they're looking at ya like that. Tell ya what, a lot more people would avoid this place if I started beating up every asshole that looks at ya wrong. Only reason I don't is cause I don't want ya to be mad at me after."
He hasn't banned anyone from his bar in a very long time. Vander knows he tolerates a lot, this is Zaun, and some people don't have the best manners, that's not exactly their fault. But on the other hand if they start something with him then he will finish it. When he tells them to stop looking at you like you like you were one of Babette's workers and they get in his face he will pick them up and throw them out.
"Bastards had it coming. I tried to be nice, then they had to go and call ya names. Ain't no way in hell I'm gonna let anyone insult my wife. Not here, not on the streets, not anywhere. I went there and I wanted to talk to them, tell them to fuck the hell off, they were the ones who started getting violent. So I responded in kind."
Vander calls you over to the bar a bit more often if he sees a particular table is trying to monopolize you. He carries some of the drinks over, the food plates too, or he simply walks up behind you when one of the guys is getting flirty. Seeing his imposing, huge frame behind you, his muscles bulging, is enough to get most to back off you.
"See, darlin', I can talk things out just fine. When people are being smart about it that is. Might have to stop selling so much booze in this place, then they won't be so bold with ya. Ya are a pretty sight, I can't say otherwise. But ya are a pretty sight for me, not them, ain't that right? Mhm. I know, I'm all yer's too."
Silco never ever says he's jealous of anyone. He is the most powerful man in all of Zaun, everyone is scared of him and with good reason. As the Eye of Zaun he knows when people are looking, talking too, and might even try to touch you. Those people are often payed a not so nice visit by his men.
"I did hear about that gang, yes. It's very unfortunate that they don't know how to keep their noses where they don't belong. It's not that big of a loss on our end. There are a hundred people who can do their work, and better. All that matters is that they won't even have to think about not touching you again."
He rarely has to get his own hands dirty when he gets jealous. All it takes is him saying who the target or targets are and he makes them dissapear from Zaun. That doesn't always have to be deadly, but if they're really dumb it is. If Silco feels that you're in some kind of danger then he will keep you close by. He tries to distract you from seeing he's jealous.
"All I'm saying is that we could take a break from work. Sevika and Jinx can handle a week of it. And you and me can lock ourselves up in our home and not come out. The bedroom works perfectly fine too, if you'd rather spend our time in there. And what is it that I'm doing, darling? Jealous? You are an observant one. I wouldn't want you any other way."
The only time Silco will threaten someone in person is if that someone is bold enough to flirt with you in front of them. He can scare people within an inch of their life just by talking to them, he's not just a good businessman, and some people tend to forget that. He has Zaun in the palm of his hand, and everyone in it.
"He did not actually piss himself. Did he actually. Hm, I wasn't look at him anymore to be honest. He was spineless, surprising given he talked to you like he did. Guess he was thinking with his other head a bit too much for his own good. Why are you looking at me that way? Ah, I see. Looks like someone enjoyed watching me put a scumbag into his place a bit too much."
Since Finn isn't someone who would take anything lying down he will be damned before he sees someone coming onto his woman and not do anything about it. He might have a certain charm about him but that doesn't mean he's not ready to makes heads roll the moment when someone crosses any kind of line with you. Imaginary or otherwise.
"Hah, did you see that doll? As soon as I threw one punch he went down. All his buddies ran like rats. Left him all alone there. After all that tough talk and he couldn't even defend himself. Serves him right. He's lucky all I did was break his nose when he flirted with you. I wasn't even that far away."
Finn will make out with you in front of who ever he is jealous of just to prove a point to them. And while he has you moaning, has your head buried against his neck and your body running hot he will look at the other person and stick his tongue out at them, right before making a V with his fingers and putting his tongue between them. He's vulgar but it gets the point across very well.
"All these people looking at what's mine. Now, I can't have that right? I love that you're showing off your body, it's a great body, you know how much I love it. But sometimes I want to keep you away from prying eyes. And if I can't the least I can do is give them a show. Make them know I'm the only one who can touch you."
His jacket is a signature part of his outfit, but Finn will let you wear it. Hell, he will walk over and drape it over your shoulders while not even looking at whoever you're talking to. Sometimes they're not worth looking at when he can look at the pretty way you blush as you touch his hand that's lingering on your shoulder.
"Thought you looked a bit cold there. Keep this on all night. Later on I'll help you warm up my way, a much more fun way. Don't even worry about your perfume getting all into this, love having your scent all over me. And by tomorrow you're gonna be wearing all of my marks."
There are a lot of people in the Enforcers who tease Marcus about having such a pretty wife. He knows you're pretty, but he doesn't like that the department is noticing it so much as well. Not that there's any way for him to hide it, or that he wants you to hide it, that would be a real crime.
"I was not pouting. That is so childish. I was glaring at them. Well, they were the ones who stared first. You visit me at work, like that's such a big deal. We're married, honey, I pick you up from work too. Why is it such a big deal here? I think they're just trying to get a rise out of me."
Won't deny that he's feeling jealous or shy away from showing it. When Marcus notices any of his men flirting with you he makes them work extra hard that day, he gives them more paperwork, something that everyone hates there, or assigns them to the toughest jobs that he knows will take them days to complete. He can't help but chuckle when you visit again and they're too tired to flirt with you, they just say hello.
"What do you mean I'm picking on them? Of course not. You know how hard it is to deal with all these extra cases. Someone has to take on a few more. No, the fact that it's the same Enforcers who gave you flowers that one time has nothing to do with it. You think it does? And do you have evidence of this accusation?"
Marcus isn't shy about kissing you in front of the whole department. If that's what it takes to send them all a clear message to back off. It's always perfectly chaste kisses, but he does make sure that everyone hears him say he loves you when you leave. He smirks when eyes turn to him and he wishes them all a good rest of their day.
"Now you call me petty. All of these accusations and you still don't have any evidence. That's not a very good way to have a case. You've been keeping count have you? Oh. You... actually have been keeping count? I'm guilty? Fine, you got me, you got me. Maybe... that was a little petty of me, but I'm not sorry."
Every time Loris is jealous it's almost impossible for him to hide that fact. He's a big guy, nothing about him is easy to his, not even his emotions. And he's loud, so every time he huffs, mumbles something, or grunts you hear it. Your eyes meet and he looks away, his hand grasping yours and running his thumb over the back of your hand.
'They were staring at you a bit too much for my liking, pretty girl. If they were as tough as they pretend they were they should have held their ground more. Proves they were all bark and no bite. People like that really get on my nerves, and then they talk to my girl like she's single."
Loris invites you to have lunch with him quite often, even more often when he gets jealous of someone who works with him. Dealing with them in any other way would be unprofessional of him, and might get him in trouble. This way he gets to avoid that, avoid them, and spend a nice lunch date with you. No matter how you look at it he's the real winner here.
"Looks so good. But if you keep looking at me like that I might get hungry for something else besides the food. Just try shifting the blame on me when you know exactly how you're looking at me right now. I wouldn't risk it at work, but... if you showed up with a few hickeys on your neck it might get the rest of the department to stop flirting with you."
As much as he tries to make his jealousy go away it's not easy. Loris knows he should be an example for others, after all he had been an Enforcer for a long time, he can't just let his emotions get the better of him. Hard to keep those emotions down when they concern you. If nothing else works he will intimidate people. Easy enough for him. But he would rather that be a last resort.
"If he wasn't ready to throw fists and words at me then he shouldn't have thrown flirty words at you. He should be able to back himself up if he's gonna be saying stuff like that. All I did was pick him up and throw him outside. Hey, I might get in a bit of trouble for it, but at least he'll leave you alone from now on. I'd risk my badge for you if I have to, you know that."
Since he is the quiet type Steb shows his emotions and jealousy is one that he works hard to surpress. Every time he notices that someone is standing a little too close to you he walks over and looks at you, lovingly, then he looks at the other person with a glare, a deadly one. All the while he's standing shoulder to shoulder with you.
"Come now, angelfish, they weren't even worth your time. We both know they only had one thing in mind when they were talking to you. I could see it in their eyes. I don't appreciate that they looked at you like that. And I know you don't either. So I felt like I had to step in."
He is very physical with his jealousy. Steb lets his eyes and touches linger a few moments longer when he wants to make a point to someone. While he knows you don't hate it he also doesn't want to come off as too jealous or too possessive over you. You can take care of yourself and he loves that about you, he's watched you put people in their place often, but there are times where he can't hold himself back.
"I could feel your fingers interlocking with mine. You wanted me to stand close to you when they weren't leaving you alone. Would you have raised your voice if I hadn't walked over? It would be amusing to see it. But I think those kisses we shared also sent an equally powerful message. You didn't have to bit me though."
Steb nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck when he's feeling really, really jealous of someone. He makes it look less possessive than it is, pretending like he's overhearing something you have to say, and then pushing himself just a little bit closer. His cold lips make contact with your neck, sending shivers down your body before he brushes your lips with his thumb and leaves with a smirk.
"That ought to be enough. I could have done more but marking you in public might have been a step too far. We can enjoy things like that in private however. I enjoy being close to you in any context, and if it makes others realize you're not looking for anyone because you've already got a man then I enjoy it even more."
Silco sat in the booth, his presence commanding, as always. One hand lazily cradled a cigarette, the ember glowing faintly as he took a drag, the smoke curling from his lips like a seductive whisper in the quiet. The other hand was resting casually against the edge of the table, his fingers tapping lightly on the worn wood. His mismatched eyes glinted in the low light, constantly surveying his surroundings but it always came back to you.
You were seated next to him, close enough that the heat of his body seemed to radiate toward you, but not so close that you couldn’t feel the space between you, the challenge hanging in the air. The dress you wore was a small thing, little more than fabric that barely covered you. But it wasn’t just the revealing nature of the dress that made you feel the tension. Maybe it was the way you could feel his eyes on you, watching every movement with that unsettlingly calm intensity.
Taking a sip of your drink, you leaned back slightly, letting the alcohol burn its way down your throat. You knew his gaze never left you. He liked watching you. More than he probably wanted to admit. And you enjoyed it just as much, teasing him with every little movement. Slowly, you traced your fingers up his arm, the touch light, lingering, until your fingertips brushed his skin just above the cuff of his sleeve. The movement was deliberate, almost like a challenge, and you could feel the faintest tension building in him, though he didn’t move. He didn’t need to.
“You’re awfully quiet tonight,” you remarked, your voice soft but playful. You set your glass down, your fingers lingering just a moment longer on the edge of the table. “Not the usual Silco I’m used to.”
He took another slow drag from his cigarette, exhaling a plume of smoke that curled toward your face. You leaned into it, savoring the sensation of the smoke swirling around you. It was strange and ntoxicating like everything about him.
“I’d prefer to listen,” Silco replied, his voice low, almost a growl. It was a voice meant for the shadows, a voice that demanded attention without needing to raise itself.
“To what?” you asked, curiosity making your voice teasing. You leaned in just a little, letting your breath tickle his ear as you did.
His lips curled upward, the smallest of smirks forming. “To see how far you’ll go,” he said, his words calculated, laced with an undertone that was almost… dangerous. But you were never one to shy away from danger.
You smirked back, your fingers tracing along the edge of the table until you reached his cigarette. Without breaking eye contact, you reached for it, stealing it from his fingers with a practiced grace. Bringing it to your lips, you took a slow drag, the smoke filling your lungs, adding a heady weight to the already thick air between you. The sharp taste of it filled your senses, heightened the unspoken sensations. You could see the slight shift in his expression as he watched you, the faint glimmer of approval mixed with something darker.
You exhaled, a cloud of smoke rising between you as you leaned in, close enough that your lips almost brushed against his ear. “I can go as far as you like me too,” you whispered, the words barely a breath.
There was a flicker in his mismatched eyes, a challenge of his own. Without another word, he shifted, his hand finding your waist with the precision of someone used to taking control. But there was no force in the movement, just the weight of his hand as he gently guided you to straddle his lap. You felt the shift in the air, the change in his posture as he settled beneath you, his body tensing beneath yours. His hands were firm on your hips, guiding you in a way that made your pulse quicken.
You could feel him. All of him. His body pressed against yours, hard and unmistakable, one that simmered beneath the surface. It made your heart race and your skin flush.
His hand slid slowly from your waist to your back, pulling you closer as you shifted on his lap, feeling the bulge beneath you. He didn’t try to hide it, didn’t seem to care. Instead, he simply watched you with those dark eyes of his, amusement flashing across his face as you continued to tease.
And then you did something unexpected. Without warning, you lifted yourself off him slightly, still straddling him but giving just enough space to make the tension thicker, heavier. Your legs stayed on either side of his hips, your hands sliding up his neck to tangle in his hair. He inhaled sharply, the breath caught in his throat.
“Bold,” he said, his voice rougher now, laced with something darker. “I like that.”
And you smirked, the taste of smoke still lingering on your tongue. “Don’t act surprised now,” you replied, leaning down just enough that your lips brushed against his jaw, teasing the skin there.
He growled low in his throat, the sound sending a shiver through you. His hands gripped your hips tighter, his fingers digging into the soft fabric of your dress, but you could feel the way his entire body reacted to the proximity. His breath came a little faster, his pulse quickening. But he didn’t let go of the control he had towards himself.
“You’re a lot of things, but you’re never predictable,” he murmured, his lips brushing against your skin, sending a ripple of electricity through you.
“I sure am full of surprises,” you said, your lips hovering just a fraction away from his, teasing him with the promise of something more. You could feel his breath on your skin, the warmth of his body pressing against you, but neither of you made a move just yet. The space between you was filled with desire, each moment stretched thin, vibrating with anticipation. And then you leaned in, brushing your lips lightly against his, a kiss that was sweet but far too brief.
His hands slid to the back of your neck, pulling you closer, and the kiss deepened. His lips were insistent, hungry even, as he tugged you against him. His touch was bruising, but it was exactly what you wanted, exactly what you have been craving for.

You and Silco danced around the empty bar, twirling and singing and chasing and slipping out of each other’s fingers. For the past hour the pair of you had been letting the loud music from the jukebox reverberate through your bones as you moved fluidly around the room.
Silco’s silky black hair was pulled back into a tiny bun at the back of his head. Sweat beaded at his hairline. The little droplets grew fat and ran down his cheek bones and disappeared down the sharp edge of his jaw as he chased your laughing body.
“Crazy,” he mused to himself as the song ended and you finally let him twirl you in by the hand. Silco dipped you, watching your smile widen. He held you there as you examined him through your striking eyelashes. He leaned down slowly, sensually and let his eyes flicker between your eyes and your lips. You were caught in his trap, lips parted as your eyes locked on his lips.
Further, slower, he leaned down until you could feel his gasps of air on your lips. He parted his lips and tilted his head closing the gap between you-
Silco stood up and twirled you again. The sexy smirk on his lips made you forgive him just a little for being the incredible tease he is. “Bastard,” you cursed him with a wicked smile.
“A thirsty bastard,” he corrected smartly. Taking you by the hand, Silco led you to the bar and gestured dramatically to an empty bar stool.
He poured your favorite and slid it to you before making his own drink. Silco rounded the corner and brought the stool next to you closer to yours. He had just put his glass bck on the counter before you slid into to lap, facing him.
“Sly thing,” Silco chided, hands settling on your ass.
“You love it,” you replied. You pulled the hair tie out of Silco’s hair and watched it settle around his features perfectly. “Pretty boy.”
Silco practically purred at your words. He brought a hand up to cup your cheek and placed the other at the back of your neck. “I do love it- love you.”
“I love you too,” Silco repeated, sealing his words with a kiss.
2
“Don’t look at me like that,” Silco muttered, voice raspy with- was it. . . lust? “You know I can’t work with you watching me like that.”
You tilted your head. “Like what?”
“Don’t be coy.”
Silco didn’t look up as you rose from your spot from the couch. You heard his breathing turn shakier as you approached. Chuckling, you pulled the back of his chair until you could grasp Silco by the collar.
He spluttered- an endearingly pathetic noise you’d like to earn from him again- as you tore him from the endless plans, letters, and work sitting on his desk as he prepared for the future of Zaun. Silco didn’t actuallytry to stop you, though, despite his unintelligible grumbling.
You pushed him onto the newly acquired couch. His back hit the cushions and his raven-black hair spread around his head like a halo. Smiled as you committed the imagine of him so off-guard to memory. “You’ve been working so diligently,” you purr, raising on knee to rest between Silco’s hip and the sofa back. “And so hard. . .” You placed your other knee on the sofa and so lightly started grinding on Silco’s boner. “I think you deserve a break.”
Silco was the one watching you through his lashes now. “Is that right?” His heaving chest showed his anticipation despite his usual calm voice.
“Oh yeah,” you reply with a dangerous smile.
3
It was a late night- the crowd at the bar had been rowdy and took a while to herd all the drunkards out, leaving you an exasperated mess. Not to mention the fact that you were dealing with an astounding amount of Enforcers after Jinx had gone and stolen a couple expensive looking watches and necklaces for some reason unknown to you. All in all, you were beat.
After tossing a wad of cash to the other bartender, you bid him goodnight and headed up the stairs.
“I was wondering when you’d be up to see me,” Silco greeted you from his desk. “Come here, my dear.”
He watches your movements with those sharp eyes of his. You perched yourself on the edge of his desk and let Silco rest his head against your chest. You ran your nails through his hair the way you knew he liked. “We should go get ready for bed,” you murmured, feeling his arms wrap lightly around your waist.
Silco heaved a sigh. “I have work to do.”
It was your turn to sigh as you pushed off the desk. Silco looked up, brow arching, at you. His confusion waned as you straddled him, wrapping your arms around his neck. You felt the man under you shudder as he exhaled, stress slowly easing out of his body as you pressed soft kisses to the oh so fragile skin behind his ear. “You can do your work tomorrow after you get some sleep.”
Clearly your tender embrace had weakened Silco’s resolve because all he did in response to your statment was pull you impossibly closer to him. “I suppose you’re right,” Silco finally muttered into your shoulder.

Jinx and Silco were currently in disagreement over who would do Jinx’s hair, when they would be doing it, and the hairstyle Jinx wanted. For an eight year old, the little blue haired girl knew what she wanted. And it was that Sevika stayed as far as humanly possible away from the eight year old.
So that was why Silco had convinced you to go to barber near Benzo’s old shop. Something about ‘not being anle to contain such rage and emotion in such tiny body’ alone.
Truth be told, you weren’t well educated in children handling. Working with Silco and the traitor for most of your life gave you practically no time to interact with people under sixteen. Jinx had taken a liking to you- probably because you were one of the people she saw the most because of your relationship to her adoptive father. (On the certificate, you were also listed as a guardian.) So being able to style the girl’s hair as she liked would be a good skill to add to your already wide-ranging knowledge.
The two of you paid as much attention to the barber as possible. Jinx had selected a simple three strand braid that you got the hang of off the bat. Silco? Not so much, but the effort was there!
When you paid and left, Jinx was so happy with her hair and so convincing that she was given permission to play with the barber’s twin son and daughter. Silco had pressed a handful of coin into Jinx’s hand and told her to be home in two hours.
“You’re going soft,” you mused, jutting your hip into Silco as the two of you left. “It’s endearing.”
Silco recoiled. “I am not. Inconceivable.”
When you scoffed, Silco turned to you with his eyes narrowed. “Something to say, trouble?”
“Nah,” you drawled. “It’s… It’s nice to see this side of you again.”
Your lover wrapped an arm around your waist and led the two of you back home. “I haven’t felt more content in a long time,” he finally admits. Emotion made his voice gravely.
“Yeah.” You continued to walk, falling into silence.
“I like watching you with her.”
Silco’s glinting eyes are already locked on your gaze when you look up. “Yeah?” You ask, suggesting smile beginning to pull up at the corner of your lips.
“Yeah. It makes me wish I could. . . fuck one into you,” he mutters.
Your eyebrows are higher than your hairline when he speaks. “Sil, you- you know I can’t-“
The dark lust in Silco’s eyes lighten. “That doesn’t mean I can’t fuck you like you could carry my children,” he tells you, an edge of an emotion you can’t quite put a finger on.
Silco pushes open the door to The Last Drop and flicks on one of the light switches. He turns to see you sitting on the table of a booth, watching him with an expression so vacant Silco wonders if this conversation is what finally sends you running. “Talk to me.”
Continuing to say nothing, you pat the table next to you. Silco pulls himself up beside you and examines your face carefully. He is apprehensive as you slide into his lap wordlessly and wrap your legs around his waist. You trace the calloused pad of your thumb from the very bottom of Silco’s scar surrounding his eyes. It’s when you near the tip-top of the marred flesh does Silco grasp your wrist.
“Speak to me, my dear,” Silco repeats. “What are you thinking? What do you want me to do?”
Silco lets your wrist go without much resistance. You tangle your fingers through his short hair. “I want,” you begin slowly, hearing his breathing cease entirely. “You to fuck me like you could knock me up.”
It takes Silco several seconds to compute your statement before leaning in to fucking devour your lips.

The bar was booming tonight.
Round after round, table after table, drink after drink. In informal terms: you were fucking slammed and the crowd wasn’t thinning out.
It’d been this busy for at least the past three hours and the pain in your feet and legs had been so God awful that you couldn’t wven feel them anymore. And the poor bartenders could barely open their mouths without someone spitting out orders or tossing coins or just pestering them.
You sighed. Nights like these made you really question your love of the damn building.
An hour later, you could see a glimpse of the light at the end of the tunnel. With an end to the night in your near future, you found yourself walking a little faster: a little more eager to get the people more drunk and gone.
It was another whole hour before you were almost finished with the cleaning. All you had left to do was wipe down the counter and tables, put the chairs up on the table, and mop.
Silco finally slunk down the stairs to see you and the last, most desperate bartender mopping up. He slid into a booth and rested his head on his palm as he watched you.
When the two of you were officially done cleaning, Silco fished out a bag of coins from one of his pockets. “Here, kid,” he said before tossing the pouch at the awed bartender.
“I- Thank you sir,” the girl said gratefully, eyes flickering between you and Silco. You smiled at her tiredly.
“Good night, Mimi,” you told her.
Silco watched Mimi smile brightly at you- the significantly kinder of the couple- and nod excitedly. “Good night, y/n! Thank you again sir, and good night!”
You came to a stop in front of Silco and tugged your apron off. “How are you?”
Silco heaved a sigh. He reached out to you and turned you away from him. Then Silco pulled you down onto his lap. He comically scooched back until his back was against the wall and his and your legs tangled on the rest of the booth. “Better.”
As Silco wrapped his hands around your waist, you felt your back decompress as you leaned against the love of your life. Your eyes fluttered shut, heavy with sleep. “I love sitting on your lap,” you confess.
Silco hums, amused.
“Best seat in the whole damn house,” you say, yawning.
Before Silco realizes it, you’re asleep. He doesn’t want to get up because theres a chance you’ll wake up, but Silco also wants to get his love to bed.
He just rests his head on your shoulder and lets himself have this moment.
I am back once again with more Silco brain rot. Feeding all of you who need the content as well as myself.
Summary: Who knew jealousy was all it took for to have your first kiss with Silco?
He hates the coiling in his stomach that arises whenever you laugh at something a patron says. It sickens him, seeing you lean in so close to another man, your lips moving as you say something and then smile, causing the table to burst into laughter. He knows you're simply close friends with them, after all they are your childhood friends, people who grew up with you, so of course you'd act overly familiar with them but he can't stop his chest from tightening, his fingers twitching.
The nib of his pen pierces through the page he was writing on and he scowls angrily at the mess, trying to drown out your voice but it's intoxicating, a melody that snatches his attention away from the numbers in his notebook. Your laughter is like a drug, leaving him wanting more every time he hears it, and the thought that it's someone else eliciting it drives him insane.
"You alright there?" Vander slides him a glass of scotch, worry clear gentle grey eyes.
"I'm fine," Silco spits back, a little harsher than intended. Of course Vander would notice something was off, Vander knew him way too well. He turns back to his notebook, trying to suppress the whispers that begin to cloud his mind and stares at the numbers, willing them into his brain.
"You know they only have eyes for you right? They don't look at anyone the same way they look at you." Vander glances over at the table where you're currently playing a game of cards, and from the looks of it, losing.
"I know," Silco scowls, stabbing the page with his pen. Vander simply huffs and turns to attend to the customer who just pulled up at the counter. Silco rolls his eyes and closes the notebook, he's done for the night. There's no way he can continue concentrating when you laugh like that, when butterflies flutter in his chest and turn to stone as he remembers you're not laughing at something he said or did.
"I'm going to get some air," he grunts, slipping out the back door.
Out of habit, he makes his way to the rooftop, sitting at his usual spot and looks out at the sprawling underground city beneath. Neon lights flash from various stores like stars, illuminating figures as people walk past but the silhouettes disappear just as quickly, fading back into obscurity. It's the same pattern every night, he's memorised some of the figures already, knows the habits of certain individuals, and has noted the important ones. He spots the lady with twin brown hair buns who frequents the brothel opposite, the two enforcers who always sneak into the nearby drug store during their nightly patrol and nearly misses the sound of your footsteps.
"Hey." You take your seat next to him.
"Y/N." He barely spares you a glance before looking back at the city below. The night wind whistles through the air, sending shivers through his body and he curls up, hugging his knees to his chest. Dammit, he forgot his coat. The air here is chillier at this time of the year, being so far away from the hustle and bustle of the city's nightlife, but it brings a sense of peace that he treasures, especially when it's with you. Tonight, it just feels cold, probably from his lack of a coat, but there's a numbness he can't explain.
The clink of glass snaps him out of his thoughts and he glances up to see you produce a bottle of wine as well as two glasses.
"Sorry, I couldn't swipe a bottle of scotch so I grabbed the next best thing before anyone could catch me," you smile at him and pop the bottle open. The red liquid sloshes in the glass as you fill it up and hand it to him, "peace offering?"
He wrinkles his nose but takes the glass anyways, mumbling a thank you before letting the liquid slide down his throat. It doesn't have the same burn as scotch does, but there's still a pool of warmth that sits in his belly, although it does little to alleviate the chill he feels.
You smile and pour a glass for yourself, taking a sip, following the direction of his eyes. Silco swirls the red liquid around in his glass, biting his lip. The silence is awkward, but he won't be the first to break it, his pride won't let him. Fortunately, you shift closer to him and shrug your jacket off, wrapping it around his shoulders.
"Don't catch a cold on me."
He snorts in response, tugging your jacket tighter around himself. It smells nice, smells like you with a hint of his cigar's smoke. He can pick out the scent of wine, the smell of the soap you use to wash the jacket, the remnants of Piltover's smell from your afternoon stint and a small smile makes its way onto his face as he remembers the way you threw yourself at him, clutching a bag of freshly baked bread, laughing as you yelled at him to run for his life. The pool of warmth resting in his belly spreads to the rest of his body, sending tingles up his spine as he buries his face into the jacket's fabric. The fabric is worn but still maintains a certain level of softness, and it feels as nice as it smells.
He watches as you finish your glass and exchange it for the bottle, remembering his own unfinished glass and takes another sip. Scotch was still the best drink, a shame you didn't manage to filch a bottle of it. You down half the bottle in one go, sighing in satisfaction and gesture at his glass.
"You don't have to force yourself to finish it, you know?"
He scowls, and finishes the rest of his wine, all the while staring right at you. "As if I'll let you have any of mine."
You laugh, and he finds that your laughter sounds better when it's because of something he said than when it's because of something someone else said, besides, there's the added bonus of giddiness that fills him. He smiles, for the first time tonight and sets the glass down next to yours. The awkwardness has been broken, much to his relief and he feels as though he can breathe easier.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" You gesture towards the myriad of lights. "Piltover's lights can't compare to this."
"That's because most of their lights are the same colour," he snorts, "but yes…it is beautiful."
You beam, taking another swig from the bottle and set the bottle down, leaning back on your hands. The night breeze ruffles through your hair, playing with its strands and Silco watches as a couple of strands fall between your eyes, causing you to huff and puff at it until it falls off your face. The next gust of wind is stronger and you shiver, shifting closer to him. He shakes his head and throws the left half of your jacket over your shoulders so it covers the both of you.
"Don't you catch a cold on me either."
"Thank you for sharing my jacket." You roll your eyes, nudging his shoulder with your own. He nudges you back, the back and forth going on for a while until the jacket slips off your shoulder and he leans over to pull it back on. Electricity crackles from where his skin brushes against yours and he feels his heart leap into his throat when he looks up at you, realising how close the two of you are.
Sure, the both of you know how the other feels, knows the unspoken truth but continue to dance around each other, fearful of what acknowledging the feeling would bring, but tonight just feels right. He feels your hand intertwine with his and he leans in, throat bobbing as he swallows hard. You lean in as well and your lips meet for the first time.
The feeling is addicting, Silco quickly learns. The way your lips lock with his perfectly, the way you lean in as his fingers run through your hair, the way your free arm wraps around his waist, pulling him closer, all of this makes him wish this moment will never end. Unfortunately, the both of you need to breathe and so he reluctantly parts from you, pressing his forehead against yours. It feels natural, to feel your warmth, to hold you underneath your jacket, and from the way you're looking at him with such adoration in your eyes, you feel the same way.
It doesn't need to be said, nothing needs to be said, the only thing he needs to do is close the gap once more and taste the wine on your lips, savouring the sweetness of it all. This is the one time he will admit that wine tastes good, but he still prefers scotch.
Your hand gently cups his cheek and he finds himself leaning into the touch. Your thumb runs over his skin, brushing along his cheekbone and he sighs, surrendering to your warmth. A small smile graces your lips and he can't help but smile back, although his smile is rather lazy.
"We should head back before Vander has to come and haul us away," you murmur and Silco reluctantly extracts himself from your touch.
"And before he closes the bar up so that we don't have to wash the glasses." He picks said glasses up, nudging the empty bottle towards you. "You are still going to throw the bottle away, I'm not touching that."
"Why? You were so eager to touch my saliva just moments ago," you tease, mirth decorating your features.
"I'm not about to deny you your responsibilities." He ducks out of the way as you try to shove the empty bottle into his arms, quickly making his way back into the bar before you can succeed in making your problem his. He hears your annoyed shouts behind him and laughs, sliding into the bar's counter.
Vander raises an eyebrow as Silco places the glasses in the sink and darts off, then shakes his head as you come barreling in, demanding that Silco help you as payment for the wine he drank. He grabs the both of you by your collars and drops you both at the sink. "I believe washing everything in the sink will suffice as payment for the bottle of wine."
You groan when you see the amount of empty cups in the sink and Silco laughs, turning on the water tap. At least you're trapped in this with him, the washing should go by faster.
As the both of you hunch over the sink, you give him a little nudge with your elbow. "Next time, if you're jealous, just step in. I'll leave with you, I promise."
"Jealous?" He splutters. "I wasn't jealous!"
"Sure you weren't, Mr 'angrily stabs an innocent piece of paper with his pen'. Keep trying."
He huffs, turning his attention back to the glass he's currently wiping dry. "I wasn't jealous."
"Yeah yeah, keep telling yourself that. I doubt that changes facts though."
"Nobody said that was a fact."
You lightly punch him in the shoulder with your damp fist and he mock glares at you, smacking your arm with the drying cloth but can't stop the smile that's forming on his face.
"Don't ever doubt yourself," you say softly. "You mean everything to me."
When it comes to sex, he’s had his fair share of experiences. Gorgeous eyed women batting their lashes at him, men with egos larger than what they actually had to offer making sultry advances at the bar when a few drinks have been had— distant memories of the past, of himself when he was younger. Even though it feels like it was a different person doing all of those things, the actions are committed to his memory in a manner that allows him to reuse that same knowledge with present lovers.
But in the middle of all the lying and deceit he’s come to shape his life around, he couldn’t bear the idea of taking anyone to bed again. He had too many things to deal with, and even if it weren’t for the fragile nation he had to run day and night, he wasn’t sure when innocent touches would stop feeling like they’re just excuses to reach for his neck.
The mistrust and cynicism didn’t immediately diffuse when you stepped into the picture.
He still kept a safe distance, double checked the locks to his bedroom, kept a dagger on him at all times, you could even say he slept with it under his pillow (which he did, something sevika told you over your weekly drink.) And even though you’d shown unshakeable loyalty while working for him, he always kept his expectations low, knowing that that's the only way to avoid being disappointed.
It took one passionate, and slightly tipsy, declaration of your feelings for his defenses to start falling apart at their rusty abused hinges. Persistence and starry eyes in the middle of the dark— present at every turn, he cannot outrun this one— send the rest of his walls crumbling before he’s aware of what’s happening.
And even though he’s had sex before, he’s never had it like this.
He’s never had it the way he does with you.
When you make love, it’s something he’s become familiar with. The curves of your body perfectly fitting into his palms, your wet tongue in his mouth, the sounds that escape when he digs his sharp teeth into your neck, all things he’s come to memorize during the months you’ve been together. And even though he had been reluctant at first, he found a lost, broken part of himself in the bed you marked as yours.
For the first time in years, the bedroom felt like an actual part of his home again.
But what he still hasn’t gotten used to is the look in your eyes after the act is done.
You’re usually quiet, deep breaths and glistening skin, head turnt as you recover from your devastating high. There’s a silent understanding between the two of you about things lovers usually realize after the experience— like the fact that you could easily ruin him any day you wished to, your fingers warm bullets over his skin, or that he’s slowly but surely ruining everyone else for you. The knowledge that you’ll live the rest of your life comparing other lovers to him if this ever ended.
It’s silent chaos under the soft moonlight peeking through the blinds of your now shared bedroom. And part of him, the one that’s not powered by hormones anymore, is almost fearful that you’ll turn to him and declare that he’s as unloveable as he sometimes fears he is.
But you never do.
Instead, you turn to him with a coy smile and watch him tentatively clean up the mess he made. On the nights where you’re thoroughly exhausted, you postpone your bath to the next morning and he retires to your side like he needs to hold you close to breathe again. If you notice his desperation, you don’t say anything.
You lay in his arms and stare at him some more, you stare at him until he asks you to close your eyes and go to sleep because you both have important things to tend to in the morning. You laugh and he can’t hold back his smile. You whisper compliments and plant short sweet kisses across his jaw and down his neck. You call him gorgeous, stunning, sexy, irresistible, and his chest that has grown accustomed to the tarry smoke of the mines is overwhelmed by the gush of fresh air.
You always fall asleep first, and he stays up far too late admiring the look on your face when you’re knocked out in his arms, wondering if he’s ever going to get used to being adored like this.

Jayce
It was past midnight when Jayce heard the apartment door creak open.
Odd. You were supposed to be out with friends, just a casual drink or two, but you never came home this late without texting him.
He stood from the couch, already halfway through unbuttoning his dress shirt from a long day at the Council Hall. A flicker of worry tensed in his chest as he moved toward the hallway, just in time to hear something crash against the wall.
“…I meant to do that,” came your voice, a little too loud. “Totally intentional.”
Jayce blinked as you appeared around the corner, one shoe missing, jacket half off your shoulders, cheeks flushed bright pink. Your eyes lit up when you saw him.
“Jayyyce!” you grinned, arms thrown wide like he was a prize you’d just won. “You’re home!”
“You’re home,” he said slowly, eyebrows raised. “Very… ungracefully.”
You stumbled a little, tripped over absolutely nothing, and then caught yourself on the wall with a dramatic gasp.
“These floors are slippery. You should talk to whoever designed them.” You squinted. “Wait. Was that you?”
Jayce bit back a laugh, scrubbing a hand down his face. “Gods, how much did you drink?”
“I don’t remember,” you sang. “But there was a shot called The Firelight. It tasted like betrayal and cinnamon.”
He reached for you instinctively as you took another wobbly step, gently wrapping his arms around your waist to steady you. You melted against him like a satisfied puddle.
“You’re warm,” you mumbled into his shirt. “And very shiny.”
“Shiny?”
You blinked up at him, poking his chest like you’d discovered a new species. “Councilman muscles.”
Jayce snorted. “Okay, time for water. Lots of water. And maybe food.”
“What I want is you, a blanket, and maybe, hear me out, a bathtub full of mashed potatoes.”
He sighed, fond, exasperated, and a little bit in awe of how adorable you could be while clearly obliterated. “You’re going to hate yourself tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow Me can fight me.”
Jayce guided you gently to the couch, helping you sit down while kicking off your other shoe for you. He tucked a throw blanket over your shoulders and disappeared to grab a glass of water and some crackers. When he returned, you were already dozing, head tipped back, mouth parted slightly.
He sat beside you, brushing your hair gently from your face, heart softening. You always brought chaos into his order, light into his seriousness, and even drunk out of your mind, you still somehow made his world better.
“Sleep, Firelight,” he murmured. “I’ve got you.”
Viktor
Viktor wasn’t expecting you to come home that late. He had stayed in the lab longer than planned, lost in a maze of notes and calculations, but the moment the clock crept past 1:00 AM and you still hadn’t messaged him, he began to worry.
So when he finally heard the front door click open, followed by a loud, clumsy thud and a muffled groan, he pushed back from his desk with a sigh, and his cane, already expecting the worst.
“I’m fine!” you called out before he even entered the hallway. “Totally fine. No injuries. I only fell… twice. Maybe three times.”
“Ah. So a record-breaking night,” Viktor said dryly, stepping into the dimly lit hallway to find you crouched on the floor, wrestling with your boots like they had personally wronged you.
You looked up at him with wide eyes and a dramatic gasp. “Viktor!”
Your whole face lit up in that way it only did when you were drunk and thrilled to see him.
“You’re here. You’re so smart. And handsome. And you smell like ink and genius.”
He blinked. “That’s… oddly specific.”
You stumbled toward him with open arms, nearly taking him out as you hugged him tight. “I missed you all night. Everyone kept talking and laughing and the drinks kept… multiplying.”
He steadied you with one arm around your back and one hand gently gripping your forearm, guiding you toward the couch. “Drinks cannot multiply, dear. That’s not how alcohol works.”
“That’s what you think. You haven’t met the tequila fairy.”
He let out a quiet laugh, sitting you down with practiced care. His touch was gentle, his voice low, soothing.
“Did gravity offend you tonight, or were you simply trying to challenge it?”
You giggled as he helped remove your jacket, your fingers flopping uselessly. “It started it.”
“I’m sure.”
He disappeared for a moment and came back with a glass of water, kneeling beside you as he handed it over. You stared at it like it was an ancient artifact.
“What’s this?”
“Life-saving hydration,” he said patiently. “Drink, or tomorrow you’ll regret your life choices.”
You downed half of it and then immediately burrowed into his shoulder with a content sigh. “You’re so soft.”
He raised an eyebrow. “Soft?”
“Emotionally.”
He smiled, just faintly, just for you.
“Only with you.”
You nuzzled against him sleepily. “I’m never drinking again.”
“You said that last time. And the time before.”
“Well now I mean it.”
Viktor stroked your hair gently, his voice dipping into something warm and steady. “Then I’ll be here next time too, ready with water and soft judgment.”
“You love me.”
“I do,” he said simply, resting his cheek against the top of your head. “Even when you bring home tequila fairies.”
Vi
The door slammed open with the kind of dramatic flair only someone very drunk could manage.
Vi, who had been lying on the couch with one leg draped over the backrest and a magazine she wasn’t really reading, shot upright.
“What the—”
“Baaaaaaabe,” your voice sang from the hallway, slurred and breathy like you were trying to seduce the air. “I live here now.”
“You already live here, dumbass,” Vi called back, rising from the couch with a grin pulling at her lips. “What the hell happened to one drink and then home?”
“They were very persuasive,” you said, stumbling into the room dramatically with your arms wide like a very friendly zombie. “They said I needed to have a good time. And I did. I’m like, 87% good time right now.”
Vi crossed her arms and arched a brow, trying to keep her cool, but the sight of you, with your hair slightly wild, eyeliner smudged from laughing too hard, and your shirt half untucked, made it really hard not to smile.
“Did anyone mess with you?” she asked, eyes narrowing slightly. “Anyone touch you weird? Say something they shouldn’t?”
You squinted at her. “Why? Are you gonna punch them?”
“That depends on how much they deserve it.”
You staggered closer and flopped against her, nearly knocking both of you over. She caught you with a grunt, steadying your swaying form and looping her arms around your waist.
“You smell like alcohol and bad decisions,” she muttered against your neck.
“You smell like heaven, punchy goddess of my heart,” you slurred, dramatically cupping her cheeks like you were proposing.
Vi let out a breathy laugh, grabbing your hands gently and pulling you down onto the couch with her.
“Alright, alright, lightweight. Let’s sit before you crack your head open trying to serenade me again.”
“You loved that serenade.”
“You were singing the Zaunite anthem to a breadstick,” she deadpanned.
You leaned into her with a proud little hum. “It was very moving.”
Vi chuckled again, pulling the throw blanket over you both and letting you rest your head against her shoulder. You were already starting to drift off, limbs heavy and thoughts slower by the second.
“You gonna take care of me tomorrow when I’m dying?” you mumbled.
Vi kissed your forehead. “Of course. I’ll even make you greasy breakfast and pretend not to say ‘I told you so.’”
“You’re perfect,” you sighed.
“Damn right I am,” she whispered, tucking you closer. “Now sleep before you throw up on my boots.”
Caitlyn
It was almost 2:00 AM when Caitlyn heard the front door click open with an unmistakably loud thud.
She had been reading by the fireplace, a cup of half-cold tea beside her and your text from earlier replaying in her mind: “just one drink!”
“Darling?” she called, her voice calm but sharp.
“Shhhh…” came your delayed reply. “I’m being… sneaky.”
Thud.
Caitlyn sighed deeply, already rising to her feet, heels clicking softly as she rounded the corner, only to find you trying (and failing) to kick your boots off without using your hands.
You looked up with an exaggerated gasp, eyes wide. “My lady of House Kiramman,” you slurred dramatically, “you are as radiant as ever.”
“And you are as intoxicated as I feared,” she said coolly, folding her arms. “You smell like… spiced rum and bad judgment.”
You wobbled toward her, arms open and entirely unapologetic. “Come here, my beautiful enforcer. Arrest me with your love.”
Caitlyn rolled her eyes, but she caught you nonetheless, steadying your balance with her hands on your hips. “You are absolutely insufferable when drunk.”
“You adore me.”
“That is tragically true.”
She guided you gently to the couch, helping you sit without collapsing entirely. You immediately flopped over, resting your head in her lap with a dramatic groan.
“Why are pillows illegal?” you mumbled into her thigh.
“They’re not,” she said dryly. “You’re simply too drunk to find one.”
She began undoing your coat buttons, careful and meticulous, her movements soft despite her mildly irritated expression.
“You’re lucky no one tried to take advantage of you,” she murmured, brushing hair from your face. “Zaun is one thing, but Piltover’s upper bars can be just as dangerous when you’re not paying attention.”
You peeked up at her. “Aww. Were you worried about me?”
“I always worry about you,” she said, finally letting her guard drop a little. “Because I love you. And because you have a tendency to get loud, flirty, and somewhat belligerent after two drinks.”
“I was charming.”
“You tried to flirt with a waiter by quoting a hextech patent,” she replied flatly.
You groaned and buried your face in her lap. “Kill me.”
Caitlyn chuckled softly and leaned down to kiss the top of your head. “Not tonight. But I am making you drink two glasses of water before bed and I’ll be waking you at 7 a.m. for a proper hangover lecture.”
“You’re such a cop.”
“And you love it.”
“Ugh. I do.”
She smiled, brushing her fingers along your jaw.
“Next time, you’re taking me with you. I’ll keep you out of trouble.”
“…But where’s the fun in that?”
Caitlyn sighed fondly. “You are the trouble.”
Jinx
The second you stumbled through the door, giggling to yourself and talking to your keys like they were alive, Jinx knew something was up.
She was upside down on the couch, literally, legs over the back, blue hair spilling onto the floor, when she spotted you swaying into the hallway.
“Oooooh no,” she grinned, flipping upright in one fluid motion. “Who let you get this messed up without me?”
You blinked at her, glassy eyed and beaming. “Jinx!”
“The one and only, baby,” she laughed, already walking over to you. “And look at you, all floppy and flushed. Were you partying without me?”
“Maaaaybe,” you slurred. “But it wasn’t fun without you. They didn’t throw any explosives.”
“Ugh, amateurs.”
You leaned into her, arms loose around her shoulders, clinging more for balance than affection, but she held you tight anyway, grinning against your cheek.
“You smell like someone spilled a distillery on you,” she teased.
“They might have.”
“I should be mad, but honestly? This is hilarious.”
She dragged you toward the couch and tossed you down like a sack of potatoes, then flopped beside you, bouncing your leg with hers.
“Tell me everything. Who danced on a table? Who cried in the bathroom? Who did you threaten to fight?”
You slurred something incoherent, which made her snort.
“Okay, new plan. You talk later. Water now.”
She disappeared and came back with a huge glass and a straw, because, in her words, “sippy cups are for cowards, and straws are sexy.” She handed it to you with a mischievous wink.
“Drink up, buttercup. If you puke on my boots, I’ll never let you live it down.”
“You’d still kiss me after.”
“Debatable,” she smirked. “Depends on how cute you look mid vomit.”
You took a sip and laid your head on her shoulder. Jinx quieted just a little, her fingers tapping gently along your knee.
“Y’know,” she said after a beat, “I kinda hate when you’re out without me.”
“Jealous?”
“Maaaybe,” she hummed. “But also, if anyone messed with you, I will blow up their mailbox. Just say the word.”
“You’re the best.”
“Duh,” she smirked, pulling a blanket over you both. “Now sleep, drunkie. You’ll need your energy for tomorrow.”
“For what?”
“For me. Payback party. I’m bringing fireworks and slingshots.”
“…oh no.”
“Oh yes.”
Ekko
You stumble through the door of Ekko’s hideout in the Undercity, giggling at nothing and clearly out of it. Your eyes are glassy, and your coat is only half on as you fumble with the zipper, completely unaware of the figure watching you from the corner with crossed arms.
Ekko raises a brow, stepping out of the shadows.
“Well damn… Look who decided to show up lookin’ like they fought gravity and lost.”
His voice is casual, teasing even, but the tightness in his jaw betrays his concern.
You blink, swaying.
“Ekko! You’re so pretty… like, like a clock… no, a time wizard. A sexy time wizard.”
He snorts. “Okay, you’re definitely drunk.”
Ekko steps forward and gently catches you as you nearly trip over your own feet, steadying you by the waist. You lean into him with a dramatic sigh, your forehead dropping to his shoulder.
“Didn’t mean to worry you,” you mumble.
He doesn’t answer right away. Instead, he walks you to the beat up couch, helping you sit before crouching in front of you.
“You didn’t answer your comm,” he says, voice lower now. “You go topside and come back smelling like glitter and regret, and you think I’m not gonna worry?”
You blink slowly.
“Glitter and regret smell good…”
He can’t help the laugh that escapes him. Despite himself, he presses a quick kiss to your forehead.
“We’re talkin’ about this tomorrow. And you’re drinkin’ water. Like, a lot.”
You groan and fall back onto the couch, throwing an arm over your eyes.
“You love me.”
Ekko chuckles as he places a glass of water in your hand.
“Yeah, yeah. But if you puke on my jacket, we’re fighting.”
Silco
You barely manage to unlock the door to Silco’s office. The metal creaks louder than usual as you stagger in, clumsy and giggling to yourself.
He’s at his desk, of course, pen in hand, papers spread out, always working, always composed. His single visible eye lifts slowly. He doesn’t speak, but his expression tightens.
“You’re late.”
His voice is cold, measured. But his hands have stilled.
You sway, offering a crooked smile.
“Time’s fake anyway.”
He sets his pen down with a soft click.
“Are you drunk?”
“Only a little. Maybe a lot. Depends on how you define drunk.”
You hiccup and laugh, and for a second, it looks like he might sigh.
He stands and crosses the room in calm, deliberate steps. You don’t notice the slight tremor in his hand until he reaches out to steady you.
“I told you to send a message if you were going topside.”
“I didn’t forget,” you lie, wrapping your arms lazily around his waist.
“I just got distracted. With… you know. Shots.”
He huffs through his nose, a sound that could almost be called amused if you didn’t know him better.
“And who exactly let you stumble through the Lanes like this? Alone?”
You shrug. “Some guy tried to flirt with me. I told him I belonged to the Eye of Zaun.”
That catches his attention. His brow lifts.
“Did you?”
You nod, proud. “Told him if he touched me, you’d drown him in shimmer.”
There’s a long pause.
Then, quietly, so softly only you would hear it:
“…Good girl.”
He helps you sit down gently on the couch in the corner of his office, removing your coat with surprising care.
“Drink this,” he says, placing a glass of water in your hand.
“And don’t ever make me wonder if something’s happened to you again.”
You blink at him, lips curling into a lazy smile.
“You were worried.”
He leans in, brushing his lips against your temple.
“Of course I was. You’re the only thing in this city I can’t replace.”
Sevika
You stumble through the back door of the Last Drop, coat half off and shoes in your hands, trying (and failing) to sneak in unnoticed.
Sevika’s sitting at the bar, cigar between her lips, eyes narrowed. She doesn’t move, just watches you, unimpressed.
“Seriously?”
Her voice cuts through the quiet like a blade.
“You’re walkin’ around the Undercity barefoot, drunk, and lookin’ like a half dead pigeon.”
You hiccup. “Helloooooo, gorgeous…”
She sighs, slouching back against the bar and flicking some ash off her cigar.
“You got a death wish or somethin’? What were you even drinkin’?”
“Everything.”
That earns a short, dry laugh. She stands up slowly and walks toward you, boots heavy on the wooden floor. One arm snakes around your waist before you tip over, pulling you upright with an ease that’s equal parts frustrating and hot.
“Of course. You’d go out gettin’ plastered without backup. Fuckin’ brilliant.”
You lean your head on her shoulder, giggling.
“But I came back to youuu…”
Sevika rolls her eyes, but her grip on you tightens.
“Yeah, yeah. Lucky for you, I don’t let people I like get shanked in alleys.”
She steers you toward the back room, muttering curses under her breath the whole way. You nearly trip on the doorway, but she catches you with her prosthetic arm like it’s nothing. It’s warm, buzzing faintly with a low hum, and it steadies you more than you care to admit.
“Sit. Drink water. And if you puke on my bed, you’re cleanin’ it with your damn teeth.”
You flop down dramatically. “You careeee…”
She growls, dragging a blanket over you as she tosses the cigar out.
“Shut up and sleep it off. You can be annoying when you’re sober too, don’t make this a habit.”
But later, when you’ve dozed off, Sevika pulls the blanket higher, brushing your hair from your face with her human hand. She watches your breathing settle, then mutters so quietly it’s barely audible,
“…Dumbass. Should’ve known you’d find a way under my skin.”

Warnings: very brief mention of SH
You were the one soft thing in his life. The one thing that was untouched by evil, or greed, or hate. When he found you wandering alone around an entrance into the Undercity, he knew from the moment he saw you.. you were different.
You had been giving a homeless person, probably shimmer addicted and dangerous, food. And soft words. And your time. Something he never thought he’d see. Someone so gentle they would think about sewer rats like that. You’d gone so far as to sit next to them, pulling whatever you could out of your bag for them to have. “I’m sorry I don’t have more.” You had said softly, practically sending a shiver up his spine at the time. And then you had offered to bring more tomorrow.
And so, that next day he waited at that entrance. And around that same time, you came back with an extra bag full of food. Good food. Homemade. He watched as you walked along the wall, offering some to anyone who was there. And when you’d reached the entrance.. you saw him.
“Sir?” You’d asked with a soft tone. “Would you like something to eat?”
He could see you were hesitant- as you should be. You’d probably grown up being told of the dangers of the Undercity.. but here you stood, putting yourself in harms way for people who wouldn’t do the same for you.
“Hm.” He had hummed as his eyes trailed over you. “What is it?” He asked with a quirk of his eyebrow.
As you stepped closer to him with a shy smile, you opened your bag to show him. “Oh, it’s just muffins. Nothing too special, but I thought they might help.” Reaching into your bag, you pulled out a blueberry muffin wrapped in tissue paper and offered it to him. He stared at your hand for a moment before tentatively taking it from you.
“I see.” He murmured quietly as his eyes meet your own. Stepping into the light, he walked closer to you and kept his gaze on yours. “You’re a pretty little thing.” He mused faintly. “This is a dangerous place, you know.”
When you saw his full face in the light you shrunk back slightly, but only for a moment. Staying still, you look right back up at him, much to his amusement. He didn’t think he remembered a time when someone hadn’t cowered under his gaze. “You don’t seem like the rest of them” you said softly as your eyes scanned over his face.
“Well aren’t you clever” he chuckled faintly. “If any other topsider was this close to my territory.. I fear we’d have a problem.” He murmurs with a small smirk. “But you pose no threat to me, little one.”
“You talk like you’re in charge..” you murmur as you take a step back, eyes glancing over his slender form.
He smirked wider at your words, pulling out a cigar and a lighter. “That’s because I am.” He muses followed by the click of his lighter.
Before he can say anything else, you suddenly pull the cigar out of his hand, leaving him stunned as he looked down at you. “Don’t you know this is bad for you?” You huff as you look up at him with a scolding look. “What kind of leader doesn’t care about his own health?”
He stares down at you completely dumbfounded. The nerve alone.. you threw him for a loop completely. Before he can think he lunges forward to try and grab the cigar, but you quickly move away, a smile forming on your lips. “Hey! No- you’re not getting this back”
Your innocence makes him sick. But your smile makes someone inside of him burn. “You are nothing but a pest” he growls as he stalks towards you.
When you realize how angry he looks you can’t help but laugh as you walk backwards. “I’m trying to save your life here” you grin cheekily as you playfully try to get away from him. Before you know it you’re halfway through the threshold into the Undercity.
When Silco realizes how close you are into the dangers of Zaun he rushes forward, grabbing you by the collar of your shirt and pinning you against the stone wall. His breath is heavy as he keeps you there, staring down at you as he collects himself from his anger. “Never.. go in there alone.” He says lowly, a rough growl near your ear. “Do you understand me?”
Your smile had quickly been wiped away when he grabbed you, a surprised sound slipping past your lips when he pinned you against the wall. Looking up at him, you hesitantly nodded your head, your breathing quick and face flushed. “Yes sir” you whispered breathlessly, the tension palpable.
He didn’t even know you.. but he felt protective of you. He felt like you were his. Letting go of your shirt, his eyes softened as he looked down at you and saw how your face was flushed. “Forgive me.” He murmurs faintly, his eyes locked on yours.
Gazing up at him, you couldn’t help but gently reach up to straighten his tie, eyes shifting to the collar of his shirt. His gaze follows your hands, silently watching as you fix his shirt. “You’re okay.” You murmured softly. His heart skipped a beat at your words. You could’ve said ‘it’s okay’.. but you said ‘you’re okay’. Words he hadn’t heard in a long time.
Before you can say anything else he leans forward, hands on either side of you against the wall as his lips meet yours. A small gasp leaves you as he kisses you, but you can’t stop yourself from kissing him back. It only lasted for a few moments before he pulled away begrudgingly. “Come back tomorrow.” He whispered against your ear before he took a step back and left through the threshold, leaving you standing against the wall, his cigar and your muffin left forgotten on the ground.
That was weeks ago. Now he saw you almost daily, insisting that you kept coming back. You could’ve easily denied him- returned home and never came back. But you did. You always came back. Like a moth to a flame.
You made him feel like a teenager again, revitalizing his youth. Before you he couldn’t recall the last time he had been kissed. His scars and power always drove people away, understandably so. It took a silly little topsider like you to see the man he used to be.
Sneaking into his office after meetings, pulling him into random alleyways.. all just for a little time with him. He didn’t know what he’d done to deserve something like you. He just hoped you would keep coming back like always.
Every day he would wait at the threshold between Piltover and Zaun. He would walk you through the Undercity, bringing you to where he could keep you all for himself. And every day you would show up with a wide smile, just happy to see him.
He always met you around noon, but one day you decided to slip into the Undercity earlier than usual. You knew he had been working hard recently, and you wanted to surprise him. You’d woken up early just to make him a special batch of treats, hoping to cheer him up from his recent stress.
Walking into the Undercity on your own.. the one thing he’d warned you of. You were a big boy- surely you could handle yourself for one day, right? You just had to put your hood up lay low, not drawing any attention to yourself. At least.. that’s what you thought.
You always met him at noon on the dot. For the first time in weeks you weren’t here at the threshold. Silco’s foot began to tap against the pavement with anxiety rising up inside of him. Had you finally figured out the kind of man he was? Made the smart decision to leave him and the Undercity behind?
After waiting for almost an hour he throws his cigar at the ground before turning and heading back into the Undercity. Taking his usual route to his office, he glares at anyone that dares look at him. Needless to say, he was seething. You had this hold on him- and now you were gone? Just like that? He was tempted to send Sevika to find you. But he knew he would look weak.
As he walks down one alleyway in particular, his eyes trail along the different people crouched on the ground, poor and probably shimmer addicted. He scoffs in disgust when he looks over them, seeing people begging for help.. something he swore he’d never do. Before he can turn the corner he catches a glimpse of a familiar colored bag, pausing in his stride as he looks over. That was when his heart stopped.
There you stood, hand and head resting against the dirty stone as you coughed weakly, blood dripping from your mouth. Your knees looked weak, and he could see bruises on your arms starting to form. Before he could say anything, he hears a faint noise slip past your lips. And then a few clear droplets fall onto the pavement. You were crying.
Within a second though, your sadness turned to anger. Pushing off of the wall and kicking a trashcan over, you let out a choked yell. As the volume faded, it turned into a weak sob, followed by you throwing your bag into the alleyway, which made people’s heads turn.
He’d never seen you angry. He’d never seen you cry either. It had only been a few weeks, but he’d started to believe those emotions didn’t even lie within you. He was stunned into silence, his body frozen as his eyes follow your bag before looking back at where you collapsed on the ground.
“Fucking take it” you muttered hoarsely as you wipe your eye with your wrist. “Take it all.” You snap at the people eyeing your bag. “The one thing I needed for myself- you took. Don’t bite the hand that fucking feeds you.” you practically seethe. Even in your injured state- he could feel the anger. He understood it too. The pain of being kind in a world that doesn’t return the same sentiment.
After a few more moments he quickly steps forward, kneeling down and pulling you against him. “What did I say?” He whispers against your ear, but there’s no chastising tone in his voice. Simply guilt that he wasn’t there for you.
You sniffle weakly when you realize it’s him, letting him pull you close. Resting your head on his chest, a soft sigh leaves you. “M’sorry” you whisper weakly. “Just.. wanted to surprise you. But I messed up.”
He sighs softly as he looks over the state of you. You have a black eye and bruises on your arms.. a cut here and there. He hoists you into his arms and stands up, but as he steps away only then does he see the puddle of blood on the ground. His eyes widen and he quickly looks over you, trying to see if it was from you or not. He uses his hand to feel along your back, but only when you cry out does he realize his hand feels warm.. and wet.
Making his way through the streets as fast as he could, he made it back to the last drop, storming in where all of his usual patrons sat. When the doors slam, everyone quickly turns to see Silco standing there with you in his arms and pure rage on his face.
“If I don’t have their heads within twenty four hours” he practically growls as he looks around the room. “I’ll pull every limb from every body in this room. Go.”
Your eyesight grows dim as you feel yourself being set on the couch in his office. You look up slightly to see Sevika standing over you, grabbing a roll of bandages. When you look to the right you see straight out of the door that leads from Silco’s office into the alleyway. You’d never seen him angry. Not like this. He had someone by their collar on their knees, punching them in the face repeatedly before tossing them aside with a yell.
When Sevika turns her back you stand up on shaky legs, walking towards the door the best you can. Managing to reach the doorway, you watch as Silco kicks a trashcan, letting out a yell of frustration. You didn’t know how much time had passed.. but you felt more lightheaded by the second. “Sil?” You say weakly, wishing he would be able to relax. His head snaps around, and when he sees you standing he quickly rushes forward and holds you up.
“Sevika- I told you to watch him!” He snaps as he brings you back over to the couch. Hearing Sevika’s sigh of frustration, you feel tears start to well in your eyes- especially as the shock starts to fade, leaving you with more pain than you’d ever experienced.
When Silco sets you down on the couch and starts to step away, you quickly reach out and grab his arm with a weak yelp of pain. “D-don’t leave me” you choke out as tears start to spill down your cheeks.
He quickly turns when he feels himself pulled back, and when he sees the tears spilling from your eyes his anger starts to mold into concern. He moves to sit next to you on the couch, pulling you into his arms. He positions you so Sevika can see your back where you had a small stab wound- probably from some dirt ridden pocket knife. He seethes at the thought of some low life leaving you in that alley. Wrapping his arms around you, one arm hooked under your own, he holds you as close as he can with your face tucked against his chest and the back of the couch.
“You’re okay” he murmurs softly against your ear, his breathing starting to slow from his previous anger. “Shh, shh..” he says faintly as you cry in his arms. “I’ll never leave.” Hearing a scoff from Sevika, he shoots her a glare. He knew he looked weak- he couldn’t stand it. But the way he felt for you outweighed how others viewed him. Adjusting you slightly so Sevika can treat the wound in your back, she gestures for your shirt to be taken off. He hesitates for only a moment before helping pull your shirt off, tossing the blood stained cloth aside.
Now- you and Silco had been fooling around. But it had never gotten quite this far; shirtless, I mean. Sure, you’d made out every now and then, but he was a busy man.. curling up into him as you tried to hide your embarrassment, you tense as Sevika starts to treat the stab wound. Shaking in Silco’s arms from the pain, you can’t help but cry more. It was embarrassing.. these were two of the most powerful people in the Undercity. And here you sat, crying in front of them like a baby.
Silco could practically read your thoughts when he saw how you curled into yourself. Resting his head against your own, his breath fans out over your ear. “You.. are so strong.” He whispers faintly so only you can hear. When he senses your confusion from his words, he pulls you a little closer. “Any other spoiled Piltover brat would’ve laid down and taken it.” He murmurs softly. “But I can tell you fought. My strong little thing.” He whispers against your skin.
Sighing softly, you relax in his arms slightly. “I made you cupcakes.” You whisper faintly after a few quiet moments.
Silco’s eyebrows quirk up and he looks at Sevika for a moment before looking back down at you. “What?” He questions softly as he brushes a piece of hair off of your forehead.
Sniffing slightly as Sevika tapes down the bandage, you sigh. “I wanted to surprise you.” You whisper quietly, as if embarrassed. “Since you told me you guys don’t.. do birthdays much down here- and you’ve been working so hard.. I guess they thought my bag had money in it. When they realized it was just food they..” you trail off faintly, curling into his chest more. “I should’ve listened to you.”
Silco practically feels his heart break as he listens to your words, looking down at you in disbelief for a few moments. When your wound is patched up well enough he motions for Sevika to leave, who does accordingly. Gently using his finger to lift your chin, he looks down into your tear filled eyes. “I will burn this whole city to the ground if I have to.” He says coldly, and you can tell he meant it. “You will never feel unsafe again. Never. Do you understand me?”
Gazing up at him for a few seconds, you gently nod before tucking your head under his chin. The two of you sat like that for a few minutes before your voice reached his ears. “Maybe I should’ve listened to my parents.” You whispered faintly, your shaking tone indicating how hard it was for you to admit that.
He tensed at your words, his arms tightening around you. He felt how blood rushed through his ears at the thought- the thought of you two never meeting. “No one” he says lowly. “Will take you away from me.” He growled.
You should’ve been scared. His anger should’ve frightened you. But.. you never felt more wanted. Maybe it was problematic- or unhealthy. But you could tell he needed you. Just like you needed him. You had been overlooked your whole life. Or if you were noticed, it was for an achievement. Not for you.
When he realizes what he said, and how it may have come off.. the tension fades from his body. He hugs you closer, his lips against your hair. “Forgive me.” He whispers faintly.
“Do you love me?”
His heart stopped when your words registered, and he swore the air stood still. Sitting up to get a clear look at you, he watches how you tilt your head up towards him, your soft eyes locking on his own. “Love..” he murmurs softly, looking off to the side. “Is a tricky thing.”
Gently leaning up, your lips brush against the underside of his jaw. “I think I might love you.” You murmur softly against his skin. His heart rate quickens at your words, and you can tell how he doesn’t know how to handle it. You’d only know each other for weeks- a few months at the most. Surely stealing a few kisses here and there wasn’t enough to establish love?
“You don’t understand what love is.” He sighs quietly, resting his arm along the back of the couch and resting his mouth in his hand as he avoids your gaze.
Your eyes narrowed slightly at his words, and you try your best to sit up to look at him face to face. “Who are you to tell me how I feel?”
He scoffs, shaking his head as he looks at you. “Whatever you feel for me.. it’s not love. Infatuation, perhaps. You’re too naive.” He mutters as he rubs his forehead. It hurt him to say those words, although he’d never admit it. He did love you. That much he was sure of. But is it fair? For a man like him to love again? Let alone a little thing like you.
“You’re so full of shit.” You snap as you manage to scoot further away from him on the couch, ignoring the burning pain in your back.
He quickly looks over at you, annoyance on his face. “Excuse me?”
When you see his anger bubbling slightly, you falter for a moment. “Y-Yeah.” You stutter. “You’re- you’re not nice to anyone else” you say quickly as you try to think. “Not like you are to me. And I’ve never seen you be soft with someone. And here you are holding me-.”
He rolls his eyes and stands up, turning his back to you as he walks over to his desk and leaning over it as he looks out of the window. “It’s pathetic. Truly.” He mutters. “How a spoiled little brat from topside finds one man to hug on him, and all of a sudden it’s love” he spits as he turns to look at you. He felt his heart ripping as he spoke. But he couldn’t stop himself. “Poor little you, all touch starved and unloved.” He seethes as he pushes off of his desk, walking over to you. “You are nothing.” He says dangerously as he steps in front of you, grabbing your chin and yanking you upward, making you yelp slightly. “Nothing to me. Nothing to the world. Nothing at all.”
When he lets go of your face you quickly grab it yourself, trying to soothe the ache in your jaw. There would definitely be bruises tomorrow.. his fingerprints left indented on your skin. Tears spilled down your cheeks as he spoke, and as soon as he turned away from you, you managed to stand up and grab your shirt, walking towards the door. He watched you leave, wanted desperately to reach out and apologize. But years of hatred had festered in his heart.. stopping him completely.
It was a wonder you even made it home. At least, that’s what you thought. Silco had Sevika tail you to make sure you didn’t collapse in an alleyway. But you didn’t need to know that.
Your parents were in a state when you entered the house, the both of them having dinner when they saw you standing there, battered and bloody. They immediately shacked you up in your room, calling the closest doctor to examine you.
That was four days ago. You’ve hardly left your room, deciding to stay curled up in bed, thinking about everything you did wrong. Silco had to be wrong. If you didn’t love him, why the hell did it hurt this bad to not have him around?
Meanwhile, Silco was in the same boat. He still went to the threshold every day, silently hoping you would return, coming in with violent optimism and putting him in his place, making him love you. But every day.. he stood alone. It was starting to eat him up inside. He couldn’t believe he’d done that to you. Said that to you. Touched you like that after promising you’d never be hurt again. He’d gone as far as putting out his cigars on himself. Just as a reminder of what you must’ve felt- having your heart ripped to pieces by a man who was supposed to keep you safe.
Needless to say, neither of you were taking this well. Right after you’d left that day, someone had brought him the sewer rats that had beat you. He spent the next two hours doing whatever he could to make them hurt.. taking out his own frustrations as well.
Coming up on day five of no interaction, he couldn’t stand it anymore. Putting on a cloak, he made his way into Piltover unnoticed. He knew where you lived thanks to Sevika, but when he saw the mansion your parents owned he knew he couldn’t just knock. He managed to case the house to the best of his ability, but he got lucky. He watched as you stepped out onto your small balcony connected to your room, and he knew where to find you.
Now, don’t ask about how he managed to climb up onto your balcony. Once he slid over the railing, he looked through the glass doors and found you lying in your bed, curled up into a ball under the blankets. He sighed softly when he saw how your head was hidden under the covers. He knew he must have torn your heart out. He could barely stand the thought. Managing to slip into your room silently, he rested against the wall near the balcony in case he needed to take his leave suddenly- like if your parents walked in. He pulled off his cloak and set it on your vanity before sitting in an empty chair.
What could he say to you? He knew his apologies would probably be worthless. He watched the way your body rose and fell in tandem with your soft breathing. He had never felt so alive as when watching you simply exist. Seeing you breathe, seeing you laugh.. it all reminded him of life itself. How to some.. there was good in the world.
After a few moments pass with him sitting and thinking of what to do, he suddenly hears a weak gasp. Looking up immediately, he sees you sitting up on your side with your back to him. He sees the way your body starts to rattle with sharp sobs that no doubt send shooting pain throughout your wound. You were having nightmares. And it was probably all his fault.
After a moment you turn with a wince to rest your back against the headboard, but you freeze when your eyes land on him sitting near your balcony. He saw the way your whole body tensed, and how you quickly tried to wipe your tears away so he wouldn’t see. With a heavy sigh, he gently stood and walked over to your large bed, sitting on the end of it with his back to you. Resting his elbows on his knees and his head in his hands, the two of you stay quiet for a few moments, the only sounds being his tired breaths and your sniffles.
“Love is too complex of an emotion for my body to handle anymore.” His voice says quietly, but you heard him clear as day in the wide open room. “Often.. I wake up and wonder what it’s all for. Money, power.. humanity. You.. have ruined me.” He whispers faintly, his voice gravelly. “You are everything I am not. Everything I can never be again. Please.. forgive me. Forgive a damaged fool who burns up in the presence of your light.” He murmurs through tired breaths. “You deserve nothing as scarred as me. I wish I could say my flaws are only skin deep. But I’m afraid my heart is as marred as my face.”
After he speaks, his voice raw with honesty, he’s left in silence. After a few long moments, he tenses as he feels your arms slide around his waist, pulling him close as your head rests on his back. “I’m just a stupid kid- like you said” you choke out, voice raw from how much you had been crying. “And you’re so.. so much more.” You sob softly, arms tightening around him as you bury your face against his shirt. “You’re beautiful. Especially when you’re broken.” You add through tears, giving him the hug you always wished someone would give you.
Shaky breaths slip past his lips as he tries to comprehend your words. God, how he missed feeling human. Once he manages to breathe again, he gently turns onto the bed, grabbing you from behind him and pulling you to rest over his lap. Your legs hang over his thigh, still on the bed as he presses his forehead against your own, one arm around your shoulders and the other around your hips. “I don’t know what I did to deserve you.” He chokes out softly, his eyes closing as his hands rub over your clothed skin.
Sighing softly when he pulls you into his lap, you can’t help but snuggle into him with a weak yawn. Your face was red and tear stained.. you looked like you’d barely slept. “My parents will kill you if they find you here.” You chuckle weakly against his chest. “You’re not exactly the kind of guy they want me to bring home.”
With a weak smile crossing his face, he presses his lips against your forehead gently. “I would trust their judgement.” He murmurs as he gently rocks you back and forth ever so slightly. “You shouldn’t forgive me so easily” he whispers against your hair. “You deserve better than that.”
Sighing softly, you lean up to press your lips to the underside of his jaw. “Yeah.. well. Believe it or not, I still feel safest with you.” You murmur tiredly. With a faint sigh he gently picks you up, walking around the length of your bed and setting you down, your head resting against your pillows. Yawning gently, you snuggle into your blankets and the pile of stuffed animals next to you. “go lock the door” you order sleepily.
With a faint chuckle he follows your command, locking your bedroom door before he walks back over to where you lay in your bed. Bending down to slip off his shoes, he moves to lay underneath the covers with you, pulling you into his arms with a contented sigh. “Is this alright?” He murmurs softly.
Cuddling into his hold, you nod as your eyes start to close. “if you hear my parents just wake me up and hide under the bed.” You say faintly, melting into his arms as he keeps you warm.
Smiling against your hair he places a kiss to your forehead, his hand reaching up to rub your upper back soothingly. “Don’t worry.” He whispers against your skin. “This is our little secret.”
