Day One: Your progenitor, or one of your oldest dragons. Have you modified them in any way? What made you hang on to them?
I realize it’s almost cheating to add six dragons to one day but ;lkjaght
Caris | Dilara - My actual progens. Caris is my custom and Dilara is my random. I gened them up (clearly), but I kept them as their original breeds because 1- I was new, and 2- because Dilara is a native plague breed.
Aral | Brys - My fire ‘progens’. They’re just G1s that I got for my move to fire. I hatched Aral from a mass hatch after my move, but I already knew I wanted that accent for him (Son of None by Brahkest) so I was just opening eggs until I found something alright. Then I bought Brys to match she’s not even fire she’s lightning so that I could sell lore kids. And then I kept all the kids. Woops.
Geshtinanna | Simir - Ges is the oldest dragon in my lair. She’s 4 digits and I got her relatively early on from a giveaway. I scattered her, breed changed her, gened her, and then I got a custom accent for her (Summer Dream by AriNemera). Simir I bought out of a lair clean-out not really realizing he was an unbred 6 digit. So then I also scattered and gened him, then got him some art. Now they’re the spirits of Life and Death in my lair.
A little something for @pyllymursu and @pupusukka , Thank you ✨
cats.
Life, death, and decay. Geshtinanna is the oldest- of course. She is a mercurial sort of creature that may or may not be a dragon at all, but she brings life with her wherever she goes. Sometimes it’s a blessing, sometimes it’s a curse. Simir is the youngest of the pair, and he is the forgiving hand of death. He is sweet and understanding, though his work is sometimes a blessing and sometimes a curse as well. Stoneheart exists as a messenger between them, neither fully alive nor fully dead, they’re a construct of two powerful and elemental forces.
... Visually Stoneheart should be between Geshti and Simir but then the order of introduction is confusing. ANYWAY. Glad I scattered that girl. Now my two old kids have a good story.
anyway that aside have some like minute doodles of Queen Allergies and Pending Cat Intervention.
I clicked on rollover again because I’m a fool.
but just wanted to update everyone so they knew that death was a cat person, and when the site is back up I’m going to cover him in a cat bundle. Personal hc? each cat has 9 lives and each time a cat loses one of its lives, simir gets a new cat. by the end he has a total of 9 identical cats. he loves them all.
