hey while we're reblogging this post i just want everyone to know that this post, while funny, shows a genuinely worrying trend in the trans community. while everyone is so furious about neopronouns, you are actively excluding people whose languages do not use the standard american/westernized pronoun sets of he/him or she/her or they/them. like, as funny as it is that someone genuinely could not tell the difference between neopronouns and non-english pronouns, i do genuinely think it fucking sucks that i can't even have my own goddamn languages pronouns in my bio without getting told i'm a mockery of ''actual trans struggles'', when i myself am a trans person.

my gender is literally a hebrew word from ancient jewish texts that refers to nonbinary/intersex people (tumtum - very difficult to describe in short but nonetheless describes my gender very well) and i know of other jews who also identify with/as any of the 6 non-cisgendered descriptors in the talmud. we're not "making fun of trans people" a la apache attack helicopter, we're trans and using words from our history and culture that we feel more comfortable with.
