Scrolling through the tags on Tumblr here and, wow... lots of bad takes on Phin Mason here.

Yeah, yeah, Krieger's a monster. Undoubtably. And he deserves to be hit with a train. I'm not denying that.

What I am denying is that Phin has any right to claim the moral high ground after she attacked Rio's campaign rally.

You know, the mother of her best friend.

The person whose family she had diner with just two days ago.

The lady who is actively campaigning against the same guy she is.

Not to mention she's actively supplying a dangerous gang with weapons, despite their complete disregard for innocent lives (side missions that have you stop them from hijacking helicopters and sending them on a rampage come to mind. As does the goon dialogue that shows they plan on attacking the Bugle and killin Rio for daring to criticize them.)

Honestly, Phin is way more evil than the game presents her as. If I were in Miles shoes, I'd be telling her to go fuck herself.

Simon Krieger gets to live to go to jail and he almost poisoned 200,000 people but Phin Mason tries to stop him with the same principals both Spider-Men can't exist without and she just has to be the one to die at the end of the Miles Morales game
