Throwback to the time I got indirect guitar advice from Simon Townshend

Ok so my dad knows this guy, lets call him John for privacy's sake bc I don't want to put his name on here, and he's literally the coolest guy ever. I can't remember exactly what he did but not only does he play the guitar but he was the tour manager for several major rock bands in the 80s, and has a lot of connections in that regard. So when I was getting my first guitar a while back, my dad asked John for advice on good starter acoustic guitars.

Then John asked Simon Townshend, brother of Pete Townshend of the fucking Who for advice on a guitar. He just texted a member of one of the biggest rock bands ever and asked for his advice on a starter guitar. When I tell you I screamed when I found out the guitar I got for my birthday was indirectly advised for me by SIMON TOWNSHEND

Flash forward to the following summer its John's 50th birthday, so he, my dad and several other of their friends take a trip to Vegas to see the Who live with backstage tickets (as you do) and guess what guitar Simon Townshend was playing
