Low Triple Buns

This hairstyle is an easy updo, perfect for occasions both fancy and casual.  The Low Triple Buns are a quick way to get your hair up and out of the way, while still looking pretty and complex.

Materials:

1) Brush

2) 6 Small Hair Elastics

3) Bobby Pins

Procedure:

1) Begin by brushing out your hair.

2) Tie your hair into 3 low ponytails.

3) Loosely braid each of the ponytails and tie off with another small hair elastic.

4) Begin to twist each braid around one of the original hair ties.

5) Bobby pin into place and finalize with hairspray.

Fluffy Bun

Fluffy Bun?  Fan Bun?  Slinky Bun?  I’m still struggling to figure out the perfect name for this look!  No matter what it’s called, I love this hairstyle because it is a unique bun that only takes 5 easy steps to complete.  Another thing that is great about the style is that it creates a big, voluminous bun, even if you don’t have a lot of hair.

Materials:

1) Brush

2) 2 Hair Ties

3) Bobby Pins

Procedure:

1) Begin by brushing your hair into a high ponytail.

2) Re-tie your ponytail with a second hair tie on top of the first, but do not pull all of your hair through on the last loop.

3) Wrap the loose hair (not pulled through) around the base of the ponytail and bobby pin into place.

4) Take the top loop of your bun and fluff it out.

5) Bobby pin the ends of your bun down and to the shape of your choice and finalize with hairspray.

No-Show Half Up

Materials:

1) Brush

2) Hair Tie

3) 2 Bobby Pins

Procedure:

1) Begin by brushing your hair into a low half up ponytail down the middle of your head.

2) Grab a section of hair from the front right of your head.

3) Cross the section of hair over your hair tie.

4) Bobby pin the section into place just under the hair tie.

5) Repeat steps 2-4 with the left section of hair.  Finalize with hairspray.

Materials:

1) Brush

2) 2 Hair Ties

3) Bobby Pins

Procedure:

1) Begin by brushing your hair.

2) Split your hair in half by creating a part directly down the middle of your head.

3) Tie each section, fairly close together, at the middle of your head.

4) Use the two sections to tie a knot.

5) Create a second knot on top of the first.  Make sure to keep it somewhat loose so that your hair does not end up tangled.

6) Take the remaining ends of your hair and wrap them around the knots.

7) Bobby pin the entire bun into place.  Don’t worry about getting every hair pinned in place perfectly as it is a messy bun!  Finalize with hairspray.
