#singing help

Um so i’ve got a bit of a dilemma. I’ve started testosterone, which has been super amazing, but i also like to sing. i can no longer use my voice (specifically the higher notes), if i try to do it the was i used to i get no sound, or a little whisling note. i’m not sure whether to classify these notes as head voice or falsetto, since i never had professional training. is there a way i can get my range back? do the high notes feel different? help???

I-- how am I supposed to respond to this??

I told her I'm struggling with the harmonies and she replied that they weren't that high, when I told her that it's the lower part that I'm struggling with (as seen above) she claims it's perfect from my voice?

How am I supposed to reply? Clearly it's not perfect or I would be hitting the notes.

Also Ben seems to elongate the words more than Andrew - and if anyone can understand what I’m meaning by that, then firstly well done - because I’m pretty sure it’s a terrible description, and two, could tell me what it is he’s doing and how I’d describe that - that would also be a great help. The only description that has currently been coming to mind is that ‘he sings it more’ - which is stupid. 🤦‍♀️

Anyway, like I say before, I think they all have the same vocal type - but any help or information about the ways in which these actors sing and anything technical about their performances would be MASSIVELY APPRECIATED. I’ll take any guidance to understand this topic better because I have become fascinated by it and want to learn more!

I just spent 3 minutes singing with a pen in my mouth cuz my jaw was tight, and now its worse! Does anyone have any advice to help! I have a rehearsal tonight and tomorrow 🥲

Hey does anyone any apps/websites that help you learn to sing? I’m specially interested in exercises to sing in the correct key, the correct tone, that kind of thing. Doesn’t need to have songs, just getting the correct notes. Should be free or very very very cheap.

Vocal range help??

I tell people in a mezzo-soprano because I sing higher than my alto friends but I don’t know if that’s right.

My chest voice is in alto range reaching A4

My head voice can go to an F6 (sometimes I can push a G6 or A6)

also I can’t belt which is usually a mezzo thing I think?

I think this is a personal problem

I’m in a choir of all girls because it’s an all girls choir...and I’m a girl but that’s not the problem. We do some beautiful pieces and sometimes they get a little hard and as a soprano one, I don’t struggle with it but my friend who is an alto does. The piece we are doing is a piece where we need a really deep alto, almost a tenner, because the part is so deep, that it’s hurting the altos throats. It concerns me because my friend can barely speak and I need some suggestions on how to help her out
