Here we have a second fake magazine cover done by @sinizade, whom I can tag on here better now that I know she has a Tumblr (as opposed to last time). Also, as a bit of a bonus, the painting in the background of the girls looking more old and sinister was painted by a different artist, the lovely @niinia!

This time, while it is still Abigail and Olivia’s musical project, VANDOLLZ, being promoted, it’s a different in-universe imprint this time. However, most of the hallmarks of the last cover are present, including a QR Code that leads to Sinizade’s Instagram this time. While I would have loved to put in a second one to link to one of Niinia’s socials, there wasn’t really enough space without the risk of too much clutter.

The song that is being promoted this time is a number by the name of “Immor(t)al Gray,” and if the imagery and some of the text on the cover didn’t give it away already, it’s based off of the novel “The Picture of Dorian Gray” by Oscar Wilde. The title’s bracketed “T” is to reflect the idea that Dorian is both “immoral” in how he behaves, and “immortal” due to the cursed painting. The song itself would also make reference to Oscar Wilde’s life and other works.

I actually have a second idea for a magazine cover using this particular story, so I might have to have that drawn at some point. Until then though, I’m satisfied with this one.

@sinizade strikes again with that epic commission of Absan! A thousand times thank you for bringing her Bhaalspawn armor to life.

This is the perfect occasion to share some lore about Absan. (Spoilers for The Dark Urge's storyline)

Being both a sorcerer and a monk, she mixes both classes in combat.

Her adoptive father Zugor taught her martial arts from a young age and would push her to overcome limitations. His favourite exercise consisted of blind-folding Absan and get her to naviguate her surroundings using her other senses.

Upon becoming head of the Bhaal Temple, she perfected the technique. In a ritualistic manner she would wear a blind-fold and let both the weave and her senses guide her hand. She saw that process as an act of devotion to the Murder Lord.

"You're delicious," he teased as he licked a mark he'd left on her arm. "And you're incorrigible," Gan smirked, faking disinterest. The two of them snuggled closer, letting the sun bathe them in golden light.
