Training Abs 2 - 👍 Training the Surratus, Obliques, Intercostals... muscles around the abs. These are cool looking muscles that help tighten up and strengthen the core. I'm sure this exercise exists but this is how I do it based on my goal of targeting specific parts of my core. When I do these I really focus on where the muscle is squeezing. I'll actually slightly shift my body or change the angle of the crunch as and physically feel the muscle with my free hand to target where I want the tension to be. When I crunch I slightly pull me elbow towards my body and squeeze. . Keep in mind that as with all abdominal exercises the big benefit is in the muscle growth and the strengthening of the mid section. Everyone has a sixpack if they can stand up but the abs will only show when bodyfat is low enough to expose it. .
